Interesting. I'll admit, my expectations were pretty low going into Suicide Squad Isekai, so while I'm currently enjoying myself, I understand why others might be wary. That being said, I feel like there's always a risk for new shows (and sometimes returning shows, too). I wonder if they'll be more cautious across the board now, or if it's only for certain shows.

They probably won't watch it in the theaters. Of course, I wouldn't be surprised if each movie gets re-released as a "new" season of anime like Mugen Train did, so if they REALLY want to, I guess they could rewatch when that time (probably) comes. But I'm guessing they'll just wait for the movies to be uploaded on Crunchyroll instead of going to the theater.

That was true most thought the og was better, up until the last episode dropped. It fixed a lot of the issues that most complained about especially in relation to the og. Most now consider Stampede to be the better version, as its story and characters are way more thought out. Granted they aren't the same story, as technically s1 of Stampede is a prequel

How? It ruins a lot of lore, it and the staff on it go after Star Wars fans as a whole, and has really awful writing on top of the issues above. The only episode most people enjoyed was EP5, which is only a battle, which is the only thing the show does well over other Star Wars stuff. And lastly and most importantly, the cast genuinely disrespects and doesn't care for their fan base. Examples being the "Music Video", or when in interviews they say we are wrong for liking stuff and that needs to change, or even when they just blatantly say incorrect stuff to the media to sound like they know the lore

IMHO the bear S3 has way too much aesthetically pleasing cinematic shot that doesn't translate much with the trio reacting(their reaction shines best in action packed or comedy oriented show). Don't get me wrong, I do love the bear but its one of those show best watched in silence where you can really absorb the emotional aspect of the show.

Hated by audiences, disrespectful and awful cast, terrible writing, and broke lore. legends is lore not cannon my guy, which wasn't even what I was referencing. I'm talking about retconing Anakin/Luke (I forgot which of the two) being the only one conceived with the force. If you don't like that for some reason, legitimately look at the likes between my message saying no it's ass, vs yours for saying to watch it, and that's kinda is a microcosmic representation of what people actually think about the bad show

The show is on their radar, but they want to wait and let it cook first, in case it ends up a dud later. They try not to drop shows, so they wanna make sure Suicide Squad Isekai is worth watching before they start. I'm guessing we'll find out for sure when the season is finished (I believe we're getting 10 episodes).

It’s been four or so seasons. And there has been no romantic relationships with the main character at all. The only reason the story is called its current title is because the producers or editors told the author that it would sell better with that name than it would as Familia Orario or whatever they originally planned to call it. There is no harem.

It broke lore. Or at the very least it has worked to invalidate everything that we learned in the movies George created. The fact that Ki Adi is both in the know on the Sith, yet claims in ep 1 that they have been extinct for 1000 years directly goes against canon. Also, his age in legends was also canon in the mainline, due to the release of some collectible that had his age.

What version of Danmachi were you guys watching? The harem tag definitely fits, even if it's not what the main plot revolves around. The main dude is interested in one girl, sure, but it's obvious how others are also falling for him despite his lack of romantic interest in them. Like, come on, that's one of the most basic tropes when it comes to the harem genre.
