Not gonna lie yall, its getting ROUGH. Not sure if we gonna make it through the whole season of this

Comments

Cleven Anthony

Damn more discussions ? 😭😭 it’s been a rough season I’m tryna hold on but idk anymore 😂

Sylisen E.

won't blame you if you drop it honestly...

Thev2g

Ngl I stopped watching slime. this season has been a drag. I appreciate the world building but there has to have been a more interesting way of doing it than constant meetings in the same setting(s).

Grelk

stopped w/ slime in season 2, glad to hear that was the correct decision

Lil Pickle

wont spoil but action is coming just not this season, well we do get a little but I shall say no more, since this is the festival arc

Oliverson

Just give it a few episodes. The labyrinth they introducing is one of the best things they do in this series.

sotonye ogan

As a devoted hatewatcher of mushoku, ranger reject and slime, This is my July 4th lmao.

MC zsn

its been rough but the payout will be totally worth it when the more serious arc comes around..

King of New York

Slime bouta join Shield Hero and Misfit of Demon King Academy in the banished LN anime reactions 😭💀

nicholazsyx

Whenever you drop this shit I might throw sum on the grill to celebrate

shailo

Nah just drop the show trust me it doesn’t get better (I’ve never seen a single episode of this show)

Chandler Plays

Like many have said before, this season isn't meant to be hype, this is meant to be the calm before the storm.. think first season but without the beginning setup of meeting characters and understanding the Isekai world and power system.. soon there is going to be.. well no spoilers here but patience will pay off, I can at least say that, if not this season, definitely the next.. but I just hope you guys hold on for that.. this will just be a fun arc

Roxy Rezerina

ima be honest i fell off this show halfway through season 2 dawg, it feels like none of the characters mean anything, and its never felt like theres any real stakes in the story, itd be chill if the season was funny or at least the action was dope but this shit went from iconic to mid isekai so quick

Fernando Perez

That bad huh? I kinda put the show on pause earlier this season cause I was bored with the meetings. Not sure if I should bother picking it back up at this point.

King of New York
>>142534436

Season 3? I thought they quit it. it came out almost a year ago and they still haven't reacted to it

Godrick

yeah this was... yikes.. where did the budget go?

Anorak

This show has always felt like generic isekai power fantasy imo. Which some people like but 🤷‍♂️ not for me. But now it sounds like there’s not even any power fantasy lol

Dylan Taylor

I guess I'm the only one enjoying these episode lmao. Not everything needs to be action packed and hype. Im here for exposition and world building. I enjoy all these characters and want to know whats going on in these worlds. The hype moments and action scenes are just an added bonus for me in this show.

Boomerang Guy

I was watching Married2theReal reaction of the episode and skipped through like 80% of it. This season ain't it...

JAMES D'ALESSANDRO

This story is good. They are jyst unnecessarily stretching out shit that doesn't need to be, but if you think about it. DBZ would stretch out the fights we saw in 2 episodes this season of slime into 6 or 7 episodes. Both shows are better suited for binging instead of waiting week by week. I have never and would never watch a reaction to DBZ or Naruto. It's worth watching only once. This show is heading down the same path it seems

Mubarez Ahmad
>>142534083

This season has been rough but cool shit has happened and will happen. A little patience goes s long way

Guav

just drop it honestly, like no offense to you guys but you clearly didnt know and like slime for what it actually is so its fine, you guys got way more shows thatll actually make for good reaction

Kd

Lmao I’m tellin ya drop ts n watch tsukumichi moonlight fantasy way better paced version of this wit an op crew just like slime you’d love it ong

Green Camero

Even if some amazing action comes later, this is just not how you keep an audience interested at all. The pacing is so whack.

CapnHook

Will say the set up is taking too long, but what they are setting up for if done right will be pretty insane. Especially what Ramiris is cooking.

britt

not this becoming another misfit of demon king academy lol this shows good but the pacing is killing it. wouldn't mind if y'all dropped it tbh

Preston Bryant
>>142535341

Don’t totally disagree with your statement. I did really enjoy tsukimichi it does seem to be better paced.

Dragon

moonlit fantasy would be a good replacement for this

Justin Hearst

Dropping the show now would be crazy. Not every season has to have a huge battle. If you drop it now, ya'll won't get to see the upcoming war.

Metatempo

reading the light novel of slime didn't feel that bad tbh but the anime is just not it. That's why I get angry when people complain about skip content in mushoku tensei or re zero for exemple, do you want the pacing to look like slime? Some skips are bad in both cases but when it come to a light novel adaptation, skip content is inevitable if you want a good pacing.

Stanley Owusu

It’s definitely a good show, studios just unnecessarily be adding unnecessary filler to drag the story along like Shield Hero. World building is important for long term fans when they do have action or enemies in general.

Choya

It's weird because there's so much exposition and a lot of it is important and fascinating, but the way it's been handled has not been the greatest. There are really so many small details that play such an important role later down the line that you may not catch because the way in which it's all being delivered is just not holding a majority of the audience's attention. I think all the preparations for the festival can actually be rather lighthearted and fun, but this is my opinion from reading the light novels. It's kept my interest, simply because I know what's to come. A large portion of that actually stems from how crazy powerful Ramiris is, and the shenanigans that come from the dungeon will hopefully be really cool as they expand on that in the next episode or so. I hope you'll stick with it. They're really emphasizing this calm before the storm, but when things get serious again, it'll be worth it.

Dylan Taylor
>>142534892

To each their own this whole series is built on exposition and world building. Rimuru clearly stated he just wants to live in a comfortable world. Hell they even made a slice of life spinoff with the diaries series. Theres like 50+ other action packed series so this is a nice change of pace for me since again I love all these characters and love seeing them in different engagements and talking points.

Kd
>>142535341

Exactly n slime is just getting dragged out sm it’s really hard to bare n I read the manga shit still not happening fr😭. I used to tell everyone to watch slime now it’s really disappointing me

Justin Hearst
>>142535341

season 2 isn't as well paced as season 1 for tsukimichi tbh. I'd still like to see them react to it though

DevilMayCarter

"The times they are a changin." Back in the late 80's to mid 90's, animated shows HAD to grab their audience out the gate. That's why there were so many fire cartoon intros. Anime isn't always going to be 86 or Vinland Saga, ect...nor should it be. But, think about Misfit, Shield Hero, Ninja Kamui as a recent example, strong starts and sticking the landing are equally important. For me, this feels like Demon King Academy in which there was a good payoff at Season 2's end but it was so much apathy getting there. I like these characters way more but the apathy, I get it.

Kd
>>142534892

Bro the whole season been speeches n mid fights🦦 only thing that got me hyped was literally seeing Diablo ability😂

HalfroSamurai
>>142536010

The pacing is horrific. World building is fine, but there is a way to do it without dumping exposition 10 episodes in a row. If "I promise it gets good later" is something you have to say about a show two seasons in, something is going wrong.

lyssa

Good thing I dropped it 4 episodes in S3 😭

Jadon

Everyone saying drop it or keep watching cus it gets good lol ima just say yall do what yall want! Ill keep watch and tell yall when the good shit happens lol

HalfroSamurai
>>142534505

World building doesn't have to mean expositions dumps and bad pacing. This show just isn't well written or directed at this point.

Anorak
>>142534892

@Dylan Taylor I get what you’re saying but there’s a difference between a slow paced show with good world building and just vomiting exposition on the audience for a whole season.

Kd
>>142535341

Hmm season 1 was dope I can’t remember if that’s when he literally snapped on the humans or not😭 but season 2 was so dope how things came crashing down n he started getting op asl without realizing

DevilMayCarter
>>142533903

When you brought up world building, I don't know if you checked out Chained Soldier but it immediately made me think that the way they did theirs for their universe was more engaging than just sitting at the conference table dropping exposition. And it's no top-tier anime or nothing but I agree with your point.

Stanley

You have to I know it gets better

Danny

thats because these kind of shows have their limits. OP mc who grows stronger and stronger every arc can easily get tiring and overdone. In the end, we all know Rimuru gonna get stronger and thats it. Its a slice of life at this point with conflicts that have the stakes of any other isekai. Theres no mystery or drama that keeps you hooked like Rezero. No adventure or character growth like Mushouku. Neither does it have the comedy and breath of fresh air like Konosuba. Slime is honestly the less interesting version of Overlord with the exception that it had wide range of characters and better world building. And ppl defending it saying theres build up is a bad reason. Thats like saying Vinland s2 is bad for the first part because it was farmland saga. But it wasnt. It was a great season from start to finish. Even the "slow" parts were meaningful and impactful and had great character development and introduction. Slime just ran out of interesting things since it got to this point. Literally no isekai that reached this point has anything interesting to offer.

JJ_loves_日本
>>142536124

But it’s not filler tho?? It’s part of the series, politics and world building are the main points to this story. I happen to enjoy them expand on the world and different countries.

Supreme Kermit
>>142534892

People love to use the argument "not everything needs to be action packed and hype" obviously but nobody is saying that. You can have slow moments but its only going to stick if its written and paced well this is neither its understandable to want to drop it

Chandler Plays
>>142534505

With how complex this plot is, it really does require a lot of exposition, I'm sorry, that is how it is, it's pretty good at imitating real life politics, even if in a simplistic style, there's a lot of different parties with their own goals and motivations, and the anime wants you to understand these

Guns

wtf are some of these conversations... feels like im in a class listening to a damn lecture

Dylan Taylor
>>142534892

The only time I felt the pace was weird was literally just this episode because of the timing on it. Everything else has landed for me completely fine. Some of ya'll are clearly not interested and invested and thats fine. Like hell these three even were like "angels wtf are those" when they clearly mentioned and hinted at within the first few episodes. Some of y'all just have an attention span of a gold fish these days. If you were coming here for hype moments and epic fights then you just set yourself up. This series has always been like this from its first inception of the web novel to its light novel.

Delinda Arts

Never seen this show besides the very first ep and I just couldn't hang on but i might cold watch this reaction to see what the fuss is about lmao

Earphone Jack

As an anime only, I say stick it out. Especially since we’re in the second cour. Me personally, I’m just enjoying these moments of peace before the fuck shit starts lol. Because I feel like something is going to happen at this festival that’ll lead into the next season.

Antonio Williams
>>142537016

Yep. This series just doesn't feel like it has stakes and honestly the world building isn't interesting enough to hold me. I dropped it after the final battle in season 2. Like I know Clayman wasn't a full fledged demon lord but the fact that his team got stomped THAT bad by everyone was the final nail in the coffin

David K.

It gets alot better. They doing alot of world building this season

Vincent S Deluca
>>142537590

Overall its great, but its a lot of Civ building and this whole season has been just Board room meetings lol\

twinuzis

69 comments and 28 likes jesus🤣🤣

Mad4Life

Slimeniggas was really trying to put this anime on the same level as Mushoku or Rezero. LMAO

Maroki R6
>>142537725

Is it world building or just a bunch of boring ass talk. There’s the show don’t tell approach that they should try

Anorak
>>142534892

I don’t think most people care that there are no hype fights. From what I’ve heard/seen this season feels more like attending a lecture. People want engaging exposition, not to feel like they’re in class having their knowledge tested about tidbits from 10 eps ago. I’m all for slow shows. Someone else mentioned Vinland Saga S2 which is an example of a slow show done well. And if you like Slime that’s totally fine. Just, try to understand why other people don’t.

ElswSwine68031

Slime is good what you mean? It started with a guy reincarnating as a mere slime and now he’s a demon lord and built a whole ass city. I like the progress and not all of it has to be life or death for it to be good

ZSan
>>142537058

chill dude, why are you taking this so personally, like their reaction means everything to you, you gotta relax and find something to do with your time. They don't know you or owe you anything lil bro, you might as well check out of this community lmao.

Alexander Flores

ngl u made it through the start of the season this part is somewhat interesting hope u can make it through

Maroki R6
>>142538257

Maybe it would be better if the execution of the story was better. They reacted to Vinland saga season 2 and Mushoku tensei season 2 and they loved those despite it being a lot of Talking and Slice of life. Slime is just doing a terrible job of show don’t tell

ElswSwine68031

You guys can’t expect seriousness all the time. Rn they want to have a celebration for him becoming a demon lord. Just take this season as a breather

Certifiedan3

I don’t know why but this season for anime has been …not well executed. There are scenes that have way too much coverage and other scenes that aren’t long enough or down right ignored. Its like there is a lack of direction in a way

Zlimee

Yeah ngl this show puts me to sleep, it’s gotten rly bad

Dylan Taylor
>>142534892

I feel like people need to their knowledge tested even more I have seen so much misinformation on stuff that has been explained. People questioning when or what angels were 13 episodes in when they talked/mentioned it in like what the first 3 episodes. I can understand why people don't like it but to call it bad or mid because you don't find it interesting or hype is a bad take imho.

Alexander Szabo
>>142538653

Interesting and engaging != serious. If you’d thought about it for longer than a few seconds, that would have been obvious.

Maurice Molette

aint no way roshi gonna drop this when his fav character gobta finally gets his shine this season trust

JJ_loves_日本

I’m just gonna say this if you’re here for just action and fights this series doesn’t focus on that. This is about a slime making his own country and rising up in the world. I think it doesn’t help they are watching weekly as opposed to watching it as a whole when it’s done.

King Rama

Honestly, I wouldn't even blame y'all. This is the point in the LN where I tapped out for a few years because even then, it was boring as shit. However, this is also the point where all of the events of future seasons begin, so I would recommend powering through it if you wanna pick the show back up for next season. A lot of the new characters introduced in this arc are still around and very relevant even in the current LN volumes

HalfroSamurai
>>142539226

They loved Vinland season 2 and that was mostly conversations. Interesting, well written, engaging conversations. That's the part Slime is missing. It is just exposition dump after exposition dump.

Anorak
>>142534892

That’s what I’m saying though. People would remember that stuff if the show was engaging enough to remember it. But slogging through 13 episodes of samey lore dumps means stuff is going to get lost in the mix. If they conveyed the lore in a better way, people would remember it. People are calling it mid not because it isn’t hype, but because it’s poorly crafted. And it’s okay to like poorly crafted shows! Just recognize what you’re watching lol. Anyways, I’ve never been super into this show so maybe I’m slightly biased. But I find this whole discussion about how to present info to viewers interesting so there’s my 2 cents.

Zach

Its going to be like this till close to the end of the season. We will get action then and a massive war arc for season 4/5. I understand its kinda boring now tho. I was getting bored of the meetings. Its a bit better now but yea

Saucy Jonathan

I wouldn’t blame y’all I read the whole novel I’m on the latest volume and im not liking the anime adaptation this season I’m only watching it just case I like the novel and I’m waiting for some events that happen later on if I didn’t know what was gonna happen I would’ve dropped it but I know next season is full of action if it gets another season cuz from what I’ve seen things are not looking too well

HalfroSamurai
>>142534505

And yet there are series and movies that manage to convey more complex political situations without being as poorly paced. Complexity is not an excuse for poor plotting.

JohnnySmoke

Ngl series like these always have a honeymoon period because the author always ends up writing the series to shit. Like Overlord, Re:Monster, basically any Isekai ends up boring as shit if it starts dragging on

JJ_loves_日本
>>142539226

So how would changing the dialogue make this more interesting?? Do you want them to just skip the explanation and straight to colosseum and no explanation of why it’s there? How would you make it more “engaging”

Zoe

Please don’t drop it😭😭

Lil Pickle

i mean, if yall really cant do this weekly, I suggest waiting then watching it when its done

Hi How are ya
>>142537058

Bro if they don’t like it they don’t like it, if they’re bored then they’re bored. Tf? Would you rather them give fake reactions and act like they’re loving it rather than genuine ones? At least they’re letting you know they not really feeling it fr.

Luhbabytay
>>142534436

The way ppl been talking trash about it I guess they decided not to react to season three

Alex
>>142540064

I promise you Konosuba is gas straight to the end. Doesn't get dragged out, or rushed in the LN and is funny right up to the end. But yes, most of these fizzle out. Honestly having read the LNs up to what's available on the Slime Reader site, there's plenty of action in the future but to me the story just wasn't there. I don't see great things in the future of this series after having seen this season. It's hard to think of any isekai that lasts very long, inuyasha maybe.

HalfroSamurai
>>142539226

Skipping the dialogue is literally the opposite of what I am saying. I want the writing to be more succinct and for the show to do more showing and less telling. I understand that a certain amount of exposition is expected, but this has been insane. From a more practical standpoint, reactors need something to react to. Overly long conversations with information often being repeated isn't interesting to watch. So it is difficult to make good reaction content out of it. I've read the LN and think this adaptation is doing a poor job of telling a good story this season.

FilmItLee

Look if y’all don’t want to keep up then just drop it lol no one is gonna blame you. You can just get patch notes when S4 drops

Alex
>>142539226

It's a TON of exposition. They needed to adapt to the medium, not read the LN to us. It's amazing to me that they dragged out every meeting to dump every ounce of cheap exposition on us, but cut the very interesting scene at the castle in Falmuth when diablo first sent the king back. There's a few other spots where they cut good stuff out. And bro had a great point, Vinland Saga S2 was amazing, but very little action. That's obviously not what people are upset about.

Alex
>>142537590

It didn't have to be. This was an interesting section of the LN, they've just dragged out the wrong parts this season.

Donovan Doyle

Just drop i dont wanna see shittalk cause u guys never realised the genre till s4 lol

Alex

I really am disappointed in this. There's some fun stuff in the future, but honestly this season should have been way more accelerated. We should have already been in the damn colliseum, through the next arc, and back to that one place for that big to do that occurs between the relevant parties by the end of the season, but at this point I think we're going to stop after this festival. I can power through it with yall, but I gave up watching it on my own. I just don't get it.

Raider

Wonder if they will drop it. 🤔 Won’t faze me one bit.

OldManMag

I mean if you guys wanna wait and binge it when there is more go for it. But yeah this season will be slow. Its all story/ world building/political maneuvering to get ready for whats to come. Its the equivalent of the training arc in other shows where not much happens but sets them up for the next big arc. Rimuru doesnt need a training arc since he just absorbs everything and Raphael learns the rest. So its all about allies and his subordinates.

Kisuke01

Damn I just woke up excited for the reaction only to see that we're back to "That Time I got Reincarnated into a weekly yap Session" 😭

V

Honestly, this would have been better if the first cour is phased properly. I feel like half of the first cour has been a drag. I’m currently at Vol 16 of the LN and I only watch this anime at certain points because of how the phasing is done in this show. And I agree with some of the comments, sometimes I feel I’m listening to an audio book.

Taveon Staten

It's literally world building like I'm so confused what is rough about this it ain't dragon ball z fam there won't be a fight every episode like just chill and enjoy the show or drop it cause if your gonna just keep shit talking it and being impatient then i dont wanna see yall react to it the mc is in charge of a whole country and yall act like homie is suppose to be fighting someone every episode

Alexander Flores
>>142545707

i agreed with them in first court but these 2 episodes haven’t been that bad compared to the first 6 else of this season

Jake Coulter
>>142545707

Me personally this type of pacing isn’t a weekly thing for me. I decided I’m just gonna wait til it’s over and binge it all so I get where they’re coming from.

kristian

I stopped watching demon slayer until the last episode. This show been slow af they hyped up hinata vs rimuru and that was weak and anticlimactic. And mushuko was also slow af until the end. All 3 shows I was hyped for this season smh

Misha Karpyshyn

Shangri la frontier would be a nice replacement just saying

MaybeNextTime

Slime glazers masking boring azz yapping sessions as “world building” 😂😂 I’d be glad if they dropped this show and watch something else

DatKid_Kaneki

ngl they shouldve made all ts in a spin off and just did a quick ep recapped and went into the war arc cause ts is losing everyone

earthphoenix7068
>>142547021

Mushoku is always meant to be like that. It’s a story of an entire man’s life, not every moment gonna be action.

JohnnySmoke
>>142545707

world building 3 seasons in on episode 13, even with 24 episode seasons should not be this boring

kristian
>>142547021

What are u talking abt it’s a anime where they live in a magical adventure world with dragon gods and demon kings

ERRORCODE616

tbh if y'all wanted to wait until a bunch of episodes accumulated and either watched them on your own or read a summary until the action picks back up, I wouldn't mind. I'd rather you guys be entertained and fully engaged than just trying to power through because we've liked the show before this point. There's other good weekly stuff going on right now. The new Code Geass series, Suicide Squad Isekai. You could pick Dungeon Meshi back up since that finished out the season.

Leo

I haven't watched a single episode of the new season and just when I was about to watch the rumored trash movie and binge the current season to catch up with everyone I get this notification 😐. Yeah I'm all for plot and world building but if it got the trio like this then to the back of the list it goes and link click it is.

NovaVortex

Donald Rimuru is crazy 🤣 But he is Yapmaster flex tho lololol

FreshxEli Tv

Is SLIME ABOUT TO GET THE Shield hero treatment 😂😂😂

SmittyWerbenjägermanjensen
>>142547021

Just Because it's a magical world doesn't mean there has to be straight smoke every single episode. The show is literally about getting a second chance at life and dying without regrets unlike his previous life

Kisuke01
>>142552365

They didn't drop Shield Hero they just haven't had time to put in the schedule same with Harley Quinn these past few season have been stacked

Quintin

I understand that world building is necessary but it doesn't require exposition dumping on us by having people talk at a table for most of the episode.

chaosdreamer

I'm likely in the minority but if you really are bored with and no longer want to watch the show, then you should stop. It's no fun to watch reactors who feel like it's become a chore to watch and try to react to something. I still like the show and will continue to watch it with or without you guys.

YungZeus
>>142545707

The world building is shit. The novel might be different the anime made it boring. You say this as if they didn’t enjoy Overlord.

Drake Rage

Slime was never good at world-building, people gotta stop giving that excuse, lol. Just cause its "world-building" doesn't mean its gotta be F-Tier World Building, tons of anime have done it SO MUCH better. Even past seasons world-building was sucky, but the Demon Lord stuff was interesting so people didn't criticize it, but the world-building this season has pretty much not been interesting at all, and they have kept repeating the same dam uninteresting information 3-4 times for multiple topics. I am personally still pissed off from last Episode... Like Rimuru AND Raphael concluded that Yuuki was the Mastermind like 2 seasons ago, but never brought it up again, then SOMEONE ELSE (Hinata) says oh yeah Yuuki is suspicious and Rimuru is like, "what? No way, let me send him an invite to our Festival, we are best buddies.." Like they keep rehashing EVERY piece of information 3-4 times but Rimuru still flip-flopping on such a major piece of information that he already HAD, about Yuuki being bad.. and then there is fkn Raphael that got NERFED to hell cause its radio silent when all the stupidity is going on, or else it woulda caught all the idiotic assumptions that characters were making, even fkn Rimuru being a major culprit for not having much of a clue about anything but Raphael isn't even helping/correcting him anymore. Rimuru's Ultimate Skill: Raphael doing its JOB woulda cut the season down to 4 episodes, LMAO.

Vincent S Deluca
>>142547021

Yeah and as he said, not every episode needs to be crazy action, it’s not DBZ lol. The show is about following Rudy’s life, is that fighting, yeah he’s an adventurer, but even adventures have families, drama and other stuff going on lol, that’s what gives the show substance

Glitchy88

I hate it when they get you all invested with a banger start to the series and then it just... goes downhill. Shield Hero was the same, loved season 1 but they MAJORLY deviated from the source material(I don't care if it's what the LN did, and if they did then the LN is trash for that arc compared to the manga), plus they cut out loads and I means LOADS of stuff. I literally just checked, Season 1 for shield hero has 25 episodes, that's the same amount as seasons 2 and 3 combined! Bruh, WTF? I'm getting tired of the anime adaptations being trash because of this issue, if you can't properly adapt it with the stupid 12 episode limit then either have it(god forbid) have more episodes or just don't do it at all. I stopped watching Ranger Reject for the same reason. I mean, it CAN work but it's just uncommon, like Konosuba being amazing even with just 11 episodes.

Vincent S Deluca
>>142545707

You could also just decide not to watch them, even if they post the video lol, you have no obligation to click the link Listen I’m all for world building but there are better more interesting ways to handle it than almost 13 eps of sitting in a boardrooms exposition dumping lol.

Bighusky

Y’all act like this hasn’t been the same way the entire show. It’s slice of life with the occasional serious moment that lasts a few episodes then goes right back to slice of life.

SeriouslyJet

Then better prepare for bear S3 then, A lot of nothing happened. Just recycled trauma from the previous 2 season. Might as well go look for a better replacement for it.

Fraudkuna
>>142534083

Same, kinda. I loved the absolute shit out of season 2 until they shat on the stakes by reviving everyone.

Fraudkuna
>>142534419

It's funny how everyone said "Oh, it gets better afterwards. You just have to get through these meeting episodes.", but now it's "Oh, wait for the next arc. That's where the REAL shit happens." Lmao Slime fans are delusional.

Fraudkuna
>>142534781

Have they done any slo-mo shots this season? That's usually where the budget goes with this show. Lmao

Fraudkuna
>>142548465

They're saying the crew doesn't get it... Lmao I don't know, they seemed to be having fun with Overlord and the previous Slime seasons. This one is just really fucking bad, but they won't admit it. Common isekai fan L, tbh

"world building 3 seasons in on episode 13" it's a world, brother.....if you entirely explored the whole world and complexities within in only 3 seasons, that world has no substance imo lol I personally feel like this season isn't the most hype, but ive been enjoying it, depending on the last episode available at the time i might decide to wait a few weeks to binge a couple episodes in a row due to the slower nature.....but that's just my opinion it's okay if you disagree

William
>>142547021

seems like you should cry about something, you seem mad and aggressive for reasons not involving these comments......let it out you're also coming back and going out of your way to check and respond to your replies so at least one person does seem to care

zILovePelmeni _

its an anime about building a country and politics yall havent realized that for 3 whole seasons?

Pan Cakes

NAHHHHHHHHHH, WE GO FROM ANOTHER YAPPING TABLE TO ANOTHER YAPPING TABLE TO ANOTHER ONE NAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

>>142547945

Shangri-la Frontier is a no go. Kodansha waited until the season was over to go through and mass copyright strike reaction channels for it. A lot of reactors almost lost their channels because of it so Roshi isn't going to react to it.

JsnSkg

Bunch of shallow-ass people here with a complete lack of any intellectuality. Fuckin shonen dick-riding fanboys. Go watch MHA.

Tabbs

This season has been D tier, they need to make all this yapping interesting at least

Mason Scott
>>142564390

Bro calm down like it’s called a opinion you can not agree with them and move on

Tabbs
>>142560195

But they fail to make it interesting, look at Vinland Saga and house of the Dragon. They barely have any action in them but the entire show is still A tier. Nah man they have the right to be over this show at this point

JsnSkg
>>142564390

Lmao I’m calm, I was making a factual observation. What’s weird is you randomly assuming I’m angry or calm when all I did was make an observation. You ok in the head or nah?

Dazzo
>>142564390

Bro decides to call people names and act like some literal child and expects people to not think he's angry lmao Go outside bro, aint noone care about your supposed 200iq intellectual superhuman ass, fuck off

Xavier Chandler
>>142564390

Tldr: This is s2 of AOT all over again 😆 If bruh was really smart he'd realize that most of the talking is regurgitation and the amount of new info is on the drip feed by comparison. It's not that we don't possess the intellectual capability too follow along, quite the opposite, most of us don't need the recap cuz we right here w/it. In short the pacing is off and If they condensed the first portion of the season to 2 maybe 3 then the boxing match these eps here would b an easier watch.

ThatOneGuy

As someone who likes slime just stop at this point honestly. This season is just about the festival it’s not gonna have any world breaking reveals or anything. And if I remember correctly next season will have political talks about what happened this season. So it’s best to end the suffering here.

Sasha

I've seen like five episodes of this season. The only reason I could watch this is that I have good reaction to it but there's literally nothing to react to.

Metweet .c
>>142557132

It's not bad at all, its just mainly a season of consequences for all the characters. Alot of stuff did happen if you look at it from each individual characters perspective.

SeriouslyJet
>>142557132

there are a few good episode though. A flashback and the reconciliation one, but other than that its just the same old unresolved emotional problem which i think is dragged a bit too much now.

Ougi
>>142554771

100% facts, love how none of the salty kids are in ur replies cus when it's laid out like that they can't say shit

Ougi
>>142556447

Dawg do you know the difference between slice of life and mindless regurgitated exposition dumps ?

AP STP

Imma be honest, this is around the point I stopped reading the manga completely cus it didn't catch my attention anymore. And from what I've heard, it's just gonna be a bunch of political stuff afterwards, so it's probably better to not force yourselves to watch the rest.

MaybeNextTime
>>142564390

Another slime glazer who can’t admit that the show has become trash 🥱 get off your knees dude

Xan Acktor

Yeah ive been falling asleep watching it by myself the past few weeks. Wouldnt blame yall.

Dezmond Broadway
>>142557132

It's not bad it's just different. It's not what I expected it has one of my favorite episodes but it feels more like season 2.5 to me. I still enjoyed it.

Physes

You heard the people, it’s best to stop the slime reactions and replace it with something else. DOESNT MEAN YOU LOVE THE SHOW ANY LESS, it’s just not filled with stuff that’s worth reacting to. It’s peace times yk

Near

The director for this season is the same as season 2. Remember those 4 fkin eps where they kept talkin at the table with the world leaders? Yeah. I do. Anyway yeah man idk, I like slime anyway, reading the books was much easier on the mind. But Slime always had world building n shiz. Why was season 1 so good? Cus director was someone else. This brother the last 2 seasons is ruining the whole damn thing. They are hating the hell out of this season in Japan too, that's telling something man.

Fraudkuna
>>142564390

Another one that got their feelings hurt over a reaction. Lmao Grow up, go outside, watch better shows.

OllyOxenfree

Most people have been calling the show isekaied into a zoom call so I don't blame ya

That guy joe
>>142564390

I’ve never met a “calm” person who says and I quote “ Bunch of shallow-ass people here with a complete lack of any intellectuality. Fuckin shonen dick-riding fanboys. Go watch MHA.” Now correct me if I’m wrong but In English class one might interpret this statement as aggressive, the opposite of calm… maybe that’s just me though 🤷

Rafael Magnani

I mean this season is quite literally preparing you guys for what's To come in future seasons which are going to be peak btw if they follow the LN. but if you really not enjoying it might as well stop.

Ren Lichtfoot

Another reason to just watch Danmachi, at least 1-2 episodes. I promise, it's FIRE!!

sash wing

It's the same as shield hero and jobless reincarnation. It's not pacing it's set up work. You need to establish all the key players and factions so certain events and issues make sense. In sheid hero you need to explain or show the other land to set up and explain most of the internal conflict that cause world events to change. In jobless reincarnation explaining the outside factors is done to show that the alternative timeliness exist. For example if the parents were the ones saved and Roxy dies it leads to one of the bad endings for the series. So keeping her alive prevent the main character from becoming evil.

Jose

At least try to finish the tournament arc lol 😆

sash wing
>>142587410

Hmm actually I didn't spoil anything each of these series have alternate stories done in light novels. Like re zero it has a story for the alternate route where the maids love confession is accepted and they live together. Slime and jobless show why the main character is important to the universe and what would happen if he didn't exist. Their fun to to read but no manga or illustrations will be done. Unless done by fans. 90 percent of the anime is covered through the manga. The manga is fast pace than the light novel.

Mari

The meeting arc 😂

Mari

YAP YAP YAP YAP YAPPING this whole season.

PJ Rivera
>>142585690

Bruh they need reaction content but if its just an exposition dump of a season then they can watch if off camera then comeback when it gets good.

PJ Rivera
>>142591314

Reincarnated in a zoom meeting, just lots of sitting around blabbering

DatKid_Kaneki
>>142587410

why we setting up something we all know is gonna happen. these mfs been setting up for 13 eps and possibly for the rest of the season. this is homework not enterntainment

DatKid_Kaneki
>>142560195

there are sm animes like this where its interesting. THEY have reacted to such animes. this shit is just boring. why we going over the same shit for 4 eps straight we recapping in recapped episodes

DatKid_Kaneki

also for slime fans mad. the trio had watched ALOT of animes where its just been yapping. but atleast the story progresses. we are in episode 13 of season 3 and nothing has really moved. its just talking to just talk atp

Greg Posey
>>142554464

@Thunter Did they not like it at the end? 😅 I still gotta watch that series with them.

Dante Senpai
>>142564390

You can’t call someone immature then act twice as immature in the same sentence lmao this a post about anime, grow up😂

Caleb Okoro
>>142587410

should take 5 episodes of constant talking, unless done in a interesting way and it wasnt💀 not tryna see a red couch for a whole season

Amzee

The big problem in my opinion is that the show ignored a lot of exposition that was supposed to happen in season 1-2 but skipped it. Now that that exposition is getting important they have to dump it all and it gets tedious. it's weird cause especially in season 2 there were a lot of scenes that seemed dragged out and yet they could have used that time to convey some useful info.

Yiff Zombie
>>142564390

My brother in Christ, it's an anime. Calm down. Sit down, let's have a series of meetings about how this elitism is unwarranted.

Symphony

Where some animes rush things too much, Slime is trying to put EVERYTHING into the show. Bad choice tbh. I love my political movies and shows, but this shit is just d r a g g i n g on.

sash wing
>>142587410

Watch Naruto or bleach it the same thing the story moves along but it usually takes a long time. The best example would be dragon ball z and one piece. 1000 deep and just at this moment you explore subject you brought up in the first season.

sash wing
>>142587410

It depends on the original work most of the time in this case most of the season is probably going to be explaining multiple factions and how people exist in this world. For example what is the church?, what are angels? Why are their dragon with human forms when veldora was still a dragon?. Between that an explanation on what gifts are for those sent from another world.

Illumi
>>142564390

"Fuckin shonen dick-riding fanboys" said the calm, intellectual individual.

Totally Thomas

I'm in agreement here. It's not the lack of action for talking. It's that it's purely exposition after exposition that doesn't push the story forward with dialogue that doesn't keep you engaged.

Misha Karpyshyn
>>142547945

Ah I completely forgot about it, that’s sucks. Would be a great Patreon exclusive tho someday

Ren Lichtfoot

Slime is good but this season isn't it! I'm tired of requesting actual good shows only for the bots in the comments to pretend like they are bad to see the reactions they want. I'm giving up on the Danmachi train, you H.A.N.'s got it. What I will say is this, most of these people are bombing on good suggestions out of selfishness. We are all paying here. There needs to be a better way of handling which shows get posted. I propose that you all watch 1 episode of each choice, post it here then make the poll to ask people what they want to see. Sure, you're still going to have people hating solely because they want to see *their* show, but at least most rational people will see whether they actually like something instead of listening to the lies and rumors in the comment section.

Isaac

Yeah you know an anime has fallen the hell off when your favorite reactors can't react well enough to keep your attention going. I think the majority here agree to just shoot this reaction out in the backyard and bring something else.

Isaac
>>142564390

As much as I agree with you ... this anime is just too boring at this point. It really had a strong lead in previous seasons but like Slime just doesn't have what Frieren had because that anime had a lot of characters just talking to eachother and world building too but kept everyone's interest. Here .. like the characters just aren't strong enough man. Everyone's bored.

drake is cleverer than kendrick headass
>>142545707

This is a good point. The anime adaptation should... ADAPT to the medium. I don't mind blocks of text because I read a lot, but at a certain point why even watch the anime? They should be taking better advantage of the medium to make the exposition more engaging. I don't think the worldbuilding is shit, but that the execution is bad

Pedro Barrera

Tbh slime fell a lot, i felt like s1 and s2 were amazing but i droped the anime at s3e3, just feels like so hard to keep watching it

Guav
>>142539284

the anime is one thing but if you tapped out of the ln cause its boring then you def didnt like slime what it actually is lol

Sumuzu
>>142583695

ERASED would be peak tbh, especially since they love (well done) time travel anime

King Rama
>>142539284

Nah, I'm a huge fan of the LN as a whole. It was just this section that made me quit. Mostly because Vol 8 was super boring (festival prep), then an 8.5 with some old stories, then Vol 9 was more festival prep. I ended up dropping it for about two years so that the English releases could get further ahead. Vol 10 is where things started to pick back up and from there it just took off and stayed great the whole way through

Nio
>>142564390

lol your getting cooked bro, cuz that mid ass show can’t world build properly, crazzyyyyyyyyyyyy

Razrok21

Damn, and I really loved this anime too, another one ruined by either the manga or the studio

K Jack

I heard the source material started getting slow after he became a demon lord, so I had no intention of continuing after last season.

FatCat

i hope you can read this yaboyroshi. the next episode will be more relationship building and world building. and a tournament i guess we can call it mini arc where the fight are between irrelevant characters. i mean if you consider gobta as relevant then okay... but no major character is gonna fight beside that leader of the beast kingdom. the worst part is that itll be another "hit me with your best shot and if i can take it we can be friends" type thing. just like the hinata and rimuru fight or that shion fight as well.

FatCat

this is a major spoiler so dont read ahead if you dont want to get spoiled *SPOILER* the black numbers arc is the only thing thats going to be interesting ahead of this anime. however, the sad part is that it could take 2 more season before they animate it given that they dont skip content on rimuru. the next arc would be helping another nation and still building relationship type thing before we get to black numbers. and with black numbers there are long meetings thatll be put in. but those meetings are the ones that we want to see because red will be in it and will reveal the history of black number ( black numbers are the demon like diablo and those who will be recruited by diablo) once the black numbers are introduce, thats the time that the story gets interesting again. so you may not really make it till the end of this season

Mr. Glasses
>>142610952

Is it really better to spend 6 hours watching 12 different episodes from different shows? Just to please the audience? Or is it better to commit to a show for a whole season. We do have some influence over what they watch, but ultimately it's up to them what they enjoy and decide will make for good reaction content. Your idea isn't a bad one, but I don't think pandering to the audience too much is ever a good idea.

Ace
>>142564390

Even tho I agree a bunch of these ppl can’t go 1 episode without a fight before calling it mid or boring. But slime is lowkey dragging it a bit to much with the talks

Skebaba

Mommy Elmesia finally here!

Jonathan Reyes

Is that blonde dude Erald, Rudys from jobless reincarnation? Lol anyways, i think this is an anime you would have to watch on the side like you did with my hero then all of the sudden started reacting to it when it got spicy lol just get back to this anime after 2 more seasons lol

Bleachsg
>>142535281

"You just don't get it" why do animals fans legitimately think a show about a power fantasy is something more then it is?

Matthew Tigue
>>142543241

"Never realized the genre" is completely wrong. It's more like the pacing and the way this info is presented is not good. Saying they've "never realized the genre" is a cope for people who can't see anything wrong with what's happening here.

Matthew Tigue
>>142545707

@William It's more like needing to spend an entire season on pure exposition dump, that you skipped and saved until the last minute, just isn't interesting or good for the pacing of the anime.

Donovan Doyle
>>142543241

Why comment this a whole week later homie 💀 and yeah i agree with u there but theres literally nothing they can do about the way its being presented atm nobody wants to watch 20 mins of info they can read a lot faster in the light novel it sucks

Austin Parker

You HAVE to bring back slime, please! It’s all set up and it’s awesome! Please bring it back! ❤️

Gabriel Souza

I heard so many people complaining about this season that I decided to wait for at least 20 or so episodes to come out to watch it, I watched it all in 3 days and I thought it was super normal, obviously is not as good as the first season but for me this season is literally the same as the second. . I really don't understand all this complaining about meetings and conversations in an anime that has been like this since the beginning. Maybe for reactions it's different but for regular viewers doesn't make any sense, seems like people just want to hate and that's it.
