This is the one season of a show I can't say "oh next episode is hype", as every episode minus the last 4 are all more hype than the previous episode. The last 4 are masterpieces so....... no reason to even mention that they are apex level

Sheera should be a detective, her catching little things throughout the show and her dedications in the end discussion are deep and crazy detailed (not saying if they're right or not, but she was way perceptive of solving the mystery). Police force need to hire Sheera

I love how when the song is playing forward, the video is backward, and when the song is playing backward, the video is playing forward. It's like they're telling us that no matter which way you try to fix things, there will always be consequences that change something else.

I had the same thought in the intro, where it starts out fire, the word "stop" happens and the bop becomes an inferno, then the words "take back my regrets" hit, and the song became an inferno. Then the op hit the reverse track and we all die. This opening theme is definitely a top 10 if not top 5! 🎶

What’s cool is I’m pretty sure the dude got his combat skills from entering her body, becasue she also trained with the mc, that’s the only thing that explains why he got folded in the picture room, I mean the power obviously stumped him but even after he stopped “teleporting” he was still slow. One of the best openings I've seen in any tv show, what made so cool was the rewind part, sure they reversed the animation but the fact that the song also goes in reverse AND still being on beat. Also fun fact, this song was performed live and the singer actually sung that part backwards in real time.

One thing I like about Captain Xiao is how he isn't one of those dumb cop characters who take forever to convince about the magic stuff. I'm just reminded recently about that Parasyte live action where the cop was badass, intelligent, and sharp, but when the good guy gave her the obvious answer she was taking the longest time and constantly saying "I don't believe you!!". We see this ignorance in a bunch of shows... Captain Xiao was quick to go: "don't worry, I know people with powers like you exist! I even covered up your potential murder case"
