They are boxing! That extra episode was definitely super important to the story

Doctors in china are forbidden by law not to tell the babys gender. that was because of the one child policy and many famllies hoped it would be a boy because of the preference to have an "heir". correct me if im wrong abt that

Early af

Tina

In China, they don't tell the genders of the children anymore due to some people putting up their daughters for adoption because they prefer sons.

CleoKujo

When I watched this season I was like oh we got action now took it up a notch

Kd

Bruh I’m stressed but ts fye

Bloodcrusnik

pretty sure the use of the word "brother" is a sign of affection in that situation not any actual blood relation.

Emily Cox

Ugh can't wait til next week

godUsoland

Yup, Link Click got hands!!!! Some of the most fire hand to hand combat in a long time!

Merfhew

@5:58 - To answer your question, Qian Jin (lawyer) was pissed at Xiao Ma (lackey) because dude burped while they were sitting together on the couch. I'm not sure why your subtitles didn't make this clear, but that's what the Crunchyroll subtitles said.

Butthead faxe

2x a week ain't enough i need these episodes 5x a week cmon😭

HaNo0onat

Next 3 episodes are ones of my favorite this season

J Man

That Episode 5.5 ended up more important than most episodes. It gave the main characters the ability to throw hands and thus give the show fight scenes. Season 1 only had like two full fight scenes and S2 already got 2 so far.

I don't want to wait till next week... lol I need the rest of the season reactions now!!

4:21 "Doctors don't tell us [the child's gender] anymore". It's in regards to a law in China to prevent parents from killing their daughters if they find out the baby was female, which was way to common to laugh at. I'm half black half Chinese, and my mother told me horror stories about what happened to a lot of newborn girls in China (this was mostly from poorer families who couldn't afford China's "one child rule" which was a tax to slow down population growth. Families would prefer to have a son due to wanting another worker around the house, as well as good luck) Thankfully my mom has a bunch of brothers and sisters because my mom, uncs, and aunties were born before 1980. I do have younger family members who were willing to pay the tax tho. China introduced a law because the female population was declining. That didn't stop parents from still doing horrible things, but it did sorta help. Props to the show's couple for actually wanting to have a daughter (there's also a weird Buddhist "good luck" thing that says that encourages a first born son. Again, real life horror stories I heard from my mom and aunties)

J Man

I also think the killer's photo has the same limitation too, where each photo can only be used once.

Caleb Gaming9099

I think yall misunderstood, when they were referring to the dude with the power stealing powers, they were referring to him just possessing somebody like Lu guang and using his power in his body. And the dude in the hoodys hair is not blonde, it’s pink like roshi said

Ya'll Seeing This? Your Seeing Greatness This Aint The 4th Of July This is Peak Click

Nope you’re absolutely right. It’s to decrease the rate of child abandonment or even worse infanticide (in some areas the first born being a girl is really taken as a misfortune)

Anon7524

"It's why I left too" fuck you Captain Qian, you deserve a bad life

Anon7524
>>142711375

I'll say this, Lou Min referred to the mystery guy killing people as his "Friend", not his brother (ex when talking to the cops. "If I said my friend was responsible for it, would you believe me?"). Who the dad mentioned may or may not be revealed later

Bria A.

Chen Bin was actively going against social norms -- most expectant parents in China want(ed) firstborn sons because of the previous One Child Policy, social and financial value of a son as an heir, etc. etc. With that being the case I actually find it really sweet and tragic that he wanted a girl. Also nah, dude's hair was pink. But the two people (including him) they conveniently kept in shadow makes me think this is another tag team duo with powers. Narrative foils and that kind of thing?

Anon7524
>>142711375

Which may or may not be revealed later😅, I don't want to spoil more than clues already said (ie the "friend" and "brother" being different)😅😅😅

Mima

bro this show has got me sweating n shit and ive already seen it. straight GAS

TheMilkMan

That fight was so GAS! The fight animation was so clean, no special effects, no crazy camera angles, just straight hands.

Bloodcrusnik
>>142711375

I got that yeah, I know any further of what you're talking about is spoiler territory.

st

Just the beginning of the fuckery. Good luck this season, enjoy it! Also the fight this episode felt very realistic imo. Like no one was just standing there and taking hits, yeah they knew martial arts but there weren't crazy ridiculous combos like you see in other shows.

Jonathan Sessoms

Aww yes the brother who is the brother 😅😂 men love your guys theory’s til lupa had me dyin laughing cause how for sure he was in his answer lol. Men the show is Gas but season two take to another level don’t worry the connection will be revealed little by by little jus yeah who is the brother we may never know let me stop lol.

ShaquanVirse

Roshi Sheera "He's the bro of the detective who's the brother of the lawyer?" Me "I still have no clue who y'all were talking about!" 😂😂😂

Merfhew
>>142719412

Are you sure? I was under the impression that, at this point, it was meant to be intentionally unclear. After all, we don't know anything about this dude, so unless the translation was wrong, I think his comment was meant to be ambiguous.

J Man

The song "Flash" by Gorilla Attack that plays during the Xiaoshi and Qiao Ling vs. Ma fight is great too. I love how the beat is timed with the sounds in the fight. it gets used again later in the series too and is even better there. This show's ost is amazing

Teacupcats

Why would they leave him unsupervised when he can’t even defend himself 😭

Semaj Brown

In China it’s forbidden for doctors to tell you the gender of your child except in the condition that there is medical reason

William Yang

"This show got the recipe" -Roshi

CleoKujo
>>142719412

Yes he’s correct don’t get me wrong I was thinking the same thing while watching

Chad
>>142748266

JotaroDrake

JotaroDrake

Olpop

>>142959531

3 guys doing odd jobs, the leader has white hair and a dark past, little girl knows how to fight and the other dude which happens to be the humor keeps fucking up. Yeah that sounds like gintama

J Man

18:45 what Lupa called wake up tateumaki, I called wake-up cakes. That crescent kick was pure raw. Favorite move in the fight

Drew Monnin

I watched with a different translation, and it specified that the guy was talking about him burping in the middle of the phone call. That’s what he was threatening to kill him over.

WockWizard

“That’a him, that’s fucking all for one” 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭💀💀💀💀💀💀💀

Able

"doctors dont tell us that anymore" I think this has to do with the catastrophic One Child Policy that existed in China in the past? That shit fucked up the entire country. We'

marzy_mich09

You guys are the ones who influence me to watch Link Click. I didn't know i will like it this much hahaha

Anna Lena Ciplajevs
>>142748266

Because of the one child policy, parents wanted to have sons, daughters were also often abandoned. It was horrible.

General Grevious

Idk even know the random dude’s name but ngl he would have cooked both of them in a 1 v 1😂

J Man
