Got clapped by a flashback again smh

Comments

Metweet .c

Do you think you guys might react to supa cell in the future when your schedule is less packed?

Crogadile

No cap I'm sorry if this is an unpopular opinion but I think this season is whack as fuck. So many flashbacks that I just don't care for. I wanted story progression, not a recap or retelling of previous events. Jesus christ this sucks - I love this show but damn this season let me down.

Dexter

We eatin

Jazko Exclusive

nigga no way you waited for this video to drop to paste this bullshit take😭😭

Tre

Please‼️‼️

Danger Tomato

Hopefully next show is the expanse

Jazko Exclusive

i apologize for my aggressive tone. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion

inosuke

Nigga was itching to hate on it 😂😂

Frederick

9:30 bro I was waiting till yall realized this was a flashback lol. Fantastic episode BTW

Jamaal Ellison

Did these nasty niggas really fire Tina outta nowhere but give her some goddamn bags of candy to leave with?!

kingBD

This season may not have been as good as seasons 1&2 but this was still a good season. Definitely was a build up for next season but it will have a pay off

LaTesha

Those forex ppl 😂

MrOuijaII

Once i got to the end of this season i felt a lot better knowing season 3 & 4 were filmed back to back and likely 4 is dropping the same year, this feels like season 2.5 or an epilogue to the chaos season 1&2 built up to. I think people may switch once 4 drops and we can see the whole vision. That being said this show is very much peak writing and i'll always enjoy spending time with the characters just yappin

Jamaal Ellison

So here's what I think has happened having not finished the whole season. When FX renewed the show for season 3 they put in a double order, so the bear has been renewed for season 4 already. I think the writers wrote the season with that in mind. Knowing they were coming back for at least one more season, and used this one to fill in more Backstory for the supporting characters. Like Tina for example, I'm not saying they needed to but that's my guess as to why it's going this way. Especially if you're saying more flashbacks and Backstory is going to be given throughout the rest of season 3.

dzuesc

Roshi you are not alone I thought she was spitting the food out too😂

Kisuke01

My dumbass said "Oh in this economy you most definitely need two jobs 😂" so nah y'all weren't the only ones tripping

User10101

This might be my fave bear ep 🔥💯

John Cedar

So in S1 when Tina was mad at Syd and told her that she had "been in this kitchen since before she was born" was that just a lie? Or did the writers just not know what they were gonna do with her character yet when they wrote that line 😅 Because after this ep it's clear that Sydney and her family have known about and been eating at The Beef wayyyy before Tina ever even knew it existed. It also makes Tina's position as a sous way more impressive to me, she and Marcus really fast tracked it to being fine dining chefs within just a few years starting from scratch. Before, I thought she had at least 20 years of experience in kitchens based off the vibe she had in S1.

Loadedfrenchfry

Forex? What? 😂 You mean an MLM? Like IML in 2019, not forex LMAO I hate IML so much, because of them the average person thinks the foreign exchange market consists of recruiting people into a pyramid scheme whilst having no clue how to navigate a chart. It's so unfortunate

Devin B

I think Tina was using hyperbole when she said I've been here since before you were born just to say that she's worked here longer than she has. It's kind of a common thing to say to someone who just started working in the same place that you've been working in for a while.

Jonathan

Im literally going through what tina was dealing with in the beggining of the episode, im looking at the military as a last resort 🥲

MBA

Who tf saying The Bear got lesser known actors? Jeremy Allen White was literally just in an Oscar nominated film.

Zion Noland

You gotta have a bachelors at certain areas at LEAST. I just had to deal with that recently

Joew

Roshi laughing at Tina 's crying scene is crazy

Abel Nunez

Shout out to Ayo Edibiri (Sydney) for her directorial debut, this episode caught me in my feelings ! Bravo!

KomodoughDragon

"most shows, they'll put like a year on the screen", the multiple newspapers and tv screens with 2018 on them just going totally unnoticed

John Cedar

Ok well I think it's kind of an insane hyperbole in this scenario given she's only there for like, 2 years max haha, I got the completely wrong impression from that one line

Nick

Please tell me we getting Moving tn

LaTesha

That's literally how they presented themselves when talking about forex and on flyers and their posts on Facebook etc. and they never went into much detail what was expected while asking you to attend a session to hear about how they were making money and able to buy all these things and all you needed to to get started was to give pay $250 to start up or whatever and you pay it every month and once you signed up another person for it then you wouldn't have to pay the $250 anymore 😅 😭. There were definitely people out there conning other people and not explaining what forex actually was and meant and then people just stopped talking about it all together. I also went to highschool where people fell for that vector hiring mess with selling knives 🤣

Kaylein Ontashia

This episode was directed by ayo she’s so cool!

Imari

People that don’t like this season after finishing it confused me. Mostly they dislike that they are providing character development for the side characters like Tina, Marcus, Sweeps, and even the Faks. Even though I believe that the side characters hold up the show to a very high degree I only really understand that criticism when it comes to Clair. But giving more scenes and love to the side characters is exactly what shows nowadays need to do. I loved this ep with Tina it’s explained exactly why she acted the way she did in S1.

JotaroDrake

I like seeing big name actors the same amount as small actors except for a few specific ones. They all jus ppl

Allison

The flashback indicator was when they showed the calendar at Tina's first job. It was in the year of 2018. Fun fact : Tina's husband in this show is her real-life husband which is why there is so much chemistry and love between the two

JotaroDrake

They showed that it was 2018 twice lmfaooooo

J Man

Jon Burnthal MVP

JotaroDrake

What’s a net 60? Like making 60% profit?

Devin B

Basically the buyer has 60 days to pay for something interest free, it's an incentive to get people to buy things but have them pay later without worrying about interest accruing.

Xavier Baker

bro did no one recognize that black comedian..............his name slipped my mind goddamit

Engel

Rember when Tina was resistant to all the changes being made to The Beef in Season 1? Now we see why. Carmy and Richard weren't the only ones affected by Mike's death. Tina was extremely loyal to Mike and that scene in the dining room is why.

Blueechante💋

Are we getting moving tonight? I’m confused. Pretty sure that was on the schedule for Wednesday.

Weston Johnson

These niggas really don't read lol. It showed 2018 about 3 times in the beginning.

Dyastro123

Check the comments on the show thats ~not~ on the schedule

Venus

@Dynastro huh, the schedule says moving is suppsoed to be posted today

Blueechante💋

I think you need to check the schedule he posted 2 days ago

Dyastro123

Yeah, I don't get the other comments. Like this only a problem if the big actors are bad at acting. But John Cena, the siblings mom, john mulaney, etc were phenomenal

Venus

they do this on korean dramas all the time. it will deadass say the year in BOLD LETTERS and they will ignore it

Vinny Deluca

What happened to the Trigun post? I saw it earlier but it’s gone now did it get taken down?

najma mohamed

where's moving lool I need 19 reaction

Sakiho

Lol samee

suzukiri

I mean i don't particularly see where the confusion is? They just probably want the actual plot to progress a bit more and don't necessarily care to delve this deep into the side characters. I personally think episodes like this are cool but I don't think it's very hard to see the other perspective

Weston Johnson

Yep, exactly. That's why they got us to yell at them from down here.

WorldWideLove2000

Yeah they're working on correcting the audio sync problem on the video

WorldWideLove2000

It got switched for the Link Click reaction. Moving ep 19 reaction will be out tomorrow

WorldWideLove2000

Moving got switched with Link Click. It will be posted tomorrow instead

WorldWideLove2000

Moving ep 19 tomorrow and ep 20 on Friday. Just tryna do the lord's work out here for those who didn't get notified on the schedule

najma mohamed

real one!! I had no idea they switched it dam

CT

Thanks for that update. I was wondering the same thing

Guav

I like to imagine the anime he was watching was dragon ball z

Kevs rey

When this ep came out I was unemployed for 3months (I got a job now) Tina actress Did a phenomenal job acting this ep. Ayo E (Sydney character) ate DOWN with this script she needs her flowers expeditiously

Bria A.

Catch me waiting for Moving and the TriStamp reupload, at least I have more things to look forward to tomorrow

Bria A.

What Dyastro was trying to say was “check the comments of the show that wasn’t scheduled for today (but got uploaded today)” — because Roshi answered over there Tl;dr Link Click and Moving got switched.

Comet

I'm still hoping y'all somehow sneak D.P. Into the reaction list since there's a demand for it. Just look at the comments for the k drama reaction poll.

Kimberly Rodriguez

Did the trigun stampede reaction that was supposed to come out today get deleted?

Cheesecake

yea there was a audio sync issue but they are currently streaming so they took it down for now and will fix and upload it later

Kevs rey

Also on ep one of this season it showed a clip of Mikey showing Tina carmy food and it comes back this ep

Teddy McDonald

The show is doing a good job at reminding you that cooking is Carmy's only passion in life. For the rest of us failure might mean trying something else, but for Carmy failing at the only thing he can imagine doing is terrifying. Helps to justify why he's been so set on everything being perfect in the restaurant.

That guy joe

Not even just that, the fact we all saw her literally getting laid off from a completely different job🤣

Kevin

Literally any episode this season where Tina does a small smile as she’s learning new things makes me do happy. Loved this episode and her growth.

KomodoughDragon

Thought she was doing daytime farmers' markets and a full-time desk job at the same time 😭

Gimme Dem Ankles

Bro vector literally sent me a letter asking me to sell the knives

Ernest Moran

Lupa gotta go out more lmaoooo

Sam Campbell

Nah bro, we all knew that was a flashback immediately. Lmao!

SnailSpray

usually i never notice but sheera was making a face for so long during the mikey convo it was actually distracting lmaooo

Reign

Fun fact, that’s Tina’s actress’s actual husband in real life

kingBD

The facial expressions be killing me😂 never know if its confusion, disgust, or what

Codymojo856

this episode was Ayo's (Sydney's actress) Directorial debut and she totally killed it. such a great episode!

DTGstl314

Tina lost her old job on November 9, 2018 - you can see the date on the clock behind the supervisor laying off Tina and her coworkers. The present day of the show is sometime in July 2023. The first episode took place in June 2022 - four months after Mikey's suicide, which happened in February 2022. The pandemic gets referenced occasionally on the show, but I don't think any of the flashbacks we've seen so far happened in the middle of the pandemic (2020-2021), besides the first episode of this season, which spans over about five years.

DTGstl314

David Zayas, the actor who played Tina's husband, is married in real life to Liza Colón-Zayas, the actress who plays Tina. The chemistry was real.

A.

I didn't like the season, but this is my favourite episode. I could stand to see more of Marcus to be honest. Where is all this Marcus character development? I think we got more in S2.

Fizzy 🐉

Easily the best bear episode this season

User10101

I love learning tidbits like this, that's so cool

mondawmin mall

(Directed to the comments): COBRA KAI'S BACK NIGGAS!!!!!!!!!

ShaquanVirse

We all were clapped - We needed that quick "Years Ago"

Dyastro123

Missy really said "deadass" as if I'M the one who didn't read, im weak

Hey Lych

Omg Ayo (Sydney’s Actress) directed this episode. How cool

Dune

I was thinking the same thing! In so many she's he asks "is that how it really is" or "do they really do that?" like my brother you gotta learn and experience life man lol

Dune

The crazy thing is I've seen comments saying how boring this season is and how nothing is happening and it just tells you how short some people's attention span is.

OnceUponABowl

ngl i thought the sandwich was nasty too so she cried so i got clapped just like roshi lol

tori Wills

Add Cobra Kai to the schedule the first five episodes are out now I am flabbergasted 😭 part 2 is November 15th by the way

tori Wills

Episode five blew my fkn mind 😭

Kingd_reps

The guy who gave her the free sandwich actually works at the real restaurant that’s there, he’s not an actor

Akila Yaw

Listen I’m all for not noticing lolll but omg once you saw Tina’s longer hair, and a different job you should have thought, is this a flash back? No oh she’s working 2 jobs 😂😂😂Loll one I saw the first episode I have a feeling we were gonna get backstories. Lolll

Kendrique

i did in fact NOT get bodied by the flashback lol Two jobs did not even cross my mind this episode. The mental fortitude a person would need to work in the morning then come to the chaos of the Bear.

tori Wills

Same I genuinely felt bad

NovaVortex

It's crazy that this episode was Sydney's (Ayo Edebiri) directorial debut. She did a fantastic job on it. Another fun fact, Tina's husband is the actress' (Tina's) irl husband.

Adrian Locke

Roshi completely missed the calendar that said October 2018 😭😭😭😭😭😭

Sheraya san

Cmon y’all LOCK IN 😭

ShaquanVirse

I was clapped too 😂😂😂

rYenis

This is actually a w syndney episode because it directed by Ayo Edebiri

rYenis

I got bodied by it until she slept the night at her house. Bc that would mean there was no Bear to go to at night.

rYenis

Im tired of seeing these high-profile actors pop in the show. Like John Bernthal, it took me out of the episode when I saw him, I completely hate it. (joke)

Kacykiki

Which film was he in that was nominated for an Oscar? He was in Shameless but I think he got more recognition from The Bear. Then he was in Iron Claw which is more well known than the other movies he's done

A. P.

Lmao they showed the date multiple times at the beginning of the episode in the b-rolls but i understand missing that. I like that they make you pay attention that way instead of just using a different color grade like everyone else does. Tina is so many women i (and probably all of us) know and grew up with, so it really hits home seeing her struggle. I'm so proud of everyone's growth 😭 and great points y'all made at the end!

MAW

Nah, it was low-key pretty obvious that it was a flashback, Roshi. xD

Asher Ealey

Y’all not realizing it was a flashback until the middle of the episode was funny as hell. I thought it was obvious at first so I was confused at some of your comments. But it made so much sense when I realized that you guys thought it was present day

Phroug

Pro-Tip for any youngins getting into working. 1. Do not let your PTO pass 2 weeks, use that shit. 2. Check and see if your job allows you to exchange your PTO for pay, not every job lets you do this, but some will let you trade-in your gathered PTO for money, which is great if you're either about to quit or you just don't want the guilt of leaving your co-workers high and dry while you're on vacation

Saynt Michael

Carmy making a new goddamn menu every day and yall thought Tina had time for a day job? LMAO

Joey boi

New menu every day sounds insane to me😭

Terrel Hudson

Bro that sales pitch at 8:30 triggered tf out of me 🤣 I legit did a job like that at like 18 and hated it. “Come sell these knives”. Thats exactly what they were

Sou saetern

1) check how your PTO works.

Danielle

Watching this reaction late. Don’t tell me they don’t find out it’s a flashback until Mikey shows up 😭

Danielle

NOT ROSHI THOT THE SANDWICH WAS BAD

General Grevious

Just watched PeaceMaker and I was shocked to see John Cena in this😂

General Grevious

Man, this may be the best episode of the season just because of that conversation at the end😂

naa

Isn’t that guy Tina’s irl husband lol

girlygirl9983

Loved this episode ❤️❤️❤️❤️ I love Tina & her supportive husband.

William Morris

as much as I loved that mikey scene bro had to say "you know" at least 30 fuckin times. after he said it 4 times in a row I couldn't stop noticing it and all I could focus on was the other 26 times he said it in 5 minutes.
