I think that what Ruby was saying about hating Aqua for the rest of her life if he got a teenage girl pregnant was because that's what happened with Ai. Yo but why do I feel like everyone in this show except Kana is gonna turn into a complete psycho. Felt bad for Melt at the end too.

The reason Ruby acted that way was because she was upset at the thought of him getting a girl pregnant in highschool the same way thier mom did which could be dangerous considering what happened to her. It'd be like he didn't learn anything from that horrible outcome and made the same mistake, despite knowing that thier own mother died because of it. *Edit* okay they realize it at the end of the vid. I think this episode was supposed to highlight some of the insanity that star-level performers have. Ai, Aqua, Ruby, Kana, and Akane, everyone that the audience has seen with stars in their eyes (Kana and Akane usually has galaxies in their eyes) are all at least slightly crazy, and that hint of madness elevates their performances. You hear about the best artists being somewhat crazy, after all.

Because they say that the best artists are just a tinge crazy, and the best performers fall into that category as well. And I wouldn’t discount Kana just yet. It’s probably just a matter of time before someone finds her trigger. I mean, her entire thing for Aqua started because he upstaged her once as they were kids, and she became obsessed with keeping track of him.

They cut the biggest lines from the manga. 1. Was Aqua and Ruby walking into the play, guy asks who the hot girl is, and they say it's his twin sister. His response was, "god dam, what do their parents look like?" 2. Was Akane explaining exactly why she hates Kana. It's kind of a big deal.

Re: some specific things in this comment section, I only ever knew one thing about where this manga was heading and all I’ll say is that my morbid curiosity begged for an update and I’m glad they clarified the issue (which like…it’s a staple manga trope or whatever, it’s fiction, I have no strong feelings but don’t seek it out personally—but didn’t think it vibed with this kind of show). All this to say people hinting in that direction are kinda misrepresenting the issue. 😅

It's less that she's mad at Aqua for getting with another girl and more that their mother was an idol teen pregnancy that led to all sorts of complications with her career and their ability to be a family in public. Remember, she still doesn't know that Aqua is her former crush/doctor, so she's not full on brocon here, just mad at the thought that Aqua could end up just as irresponsible as their father.

It's impossible to think of anything else that's sad and similar that won't trigger your PTSD. That's literally what PTSD does, imagine it like a fish hook and you're trying to hook a small fish but that also baits the bigger fish into eating it which then you have to reel in the bigger fish as well. If you need to re enact a certain emotion that comes close to your trauma/ptsd it will always trigger if it's unresolved.
