Jamaal Ellison

Okay very hot take the Faks are a little too much for a lot of the time. At the very least brother's wearing out his welcome with me.

Jamaal Ellison

I'ma need succession next, fuck the haters. If you can follow along with a K-Drama you'll be fine watching this. It's one of the best shows on Television and I wish House of The Dragon was written half as good. I love Hotd but some of the creative decisions and liberties taken feel.......🤷‍♂️

Devin B

The difference between Carmy keeping things in and Syd keeping things in is that what Syd is keeping in directly affects the business. What Carmy is dealing with is more of a personal issue that is indirectly affecting his work but Syd keeping the fact that she has an offer and is considering jumping ships would affect the business because then they would have to find someone new to cover her spot last minute as opposed to her telling them asap so they can adjust early on

OnceUponABowl

The color tones in this episode were extra amazing to me

Ben Ben Tennyson

Claire had to do the rest of that shift fighting demons straight out of hell😂

Azzy V

Yes I know Carmy likes her but they don’t need to be back together right now it’s affecting their lives like shera said.

Michael Pamon

Ok I’m not done watching the whole reaction but I need to point this out, Sheera is right, those reviews we’ve been shown are what Carmy THINKS the Tribune article MIGHT say. He’s been having moments like that since they found out they got reviewed. And those articles crediting only Carmy with The Bear are what Sydney THINKS the review may say, especially since she doesn’t feel like Camry’s partner in the restaurant. Also, you guys didn’t notice the guy from Ever is offering Syd more money than Carmy is.

CurriedCocoa

iktmfr. The patience and kindness that woman has lmao! The compassion of health care professionals, preached by all who taught her, just at the forefront of her mind the rest of the 10 hours she gotta be working.

Michael Pamon

It’s only affecting their lives because of Carmy not knowing how to properly and healthily balance his personal life and work life.

Fallen.1

What do you think about those offers? Cause I think he's (Ever guy) offering her $10k more right? But its a hell of a lot of more responsibility cause he said she would run the whole thing. I think I'd rather get paid a little less and gain the experience and learn with Carmy cause he's like a safety net if she fucks up and vice versa, but with the Ever guy, if she fails then it's all on her. Just my opinion of course lol

Jmoney

100% agree, but I think Syd may need to take the job opportunity for her character arc. There’s a recurring pattern of Syd’s impatience coming back and biting them in the ass since Season 1 (hell even her talking about how she ruined her attempted catering business as well) like w/ the risotto/to-go orders/promising a Michelin star in the 1st year that Carmy has either taken the bullet for or conceded despite his better judgment for her sake. W/ this new opportunity she’s not going to be given nowhere as much grace and would have to be held accountable for her actions/decisions and she needs that

Devin B

@Jose Iglesias imo just for job security, Syd staying where she is might be the better option because she's almost guaranteed the 70k if she signs the agreement. Even though the Ever guy is offering her 80k, he's building up from scratch with little to no reputation behind him compared to Carmy. In regards to creative control though Syd leaving might be better but hopefully Carmy allows her to be an actual partner in The Bear.

Zacost

The review are not out yet they have visions about it. Carm is chaos so he see goods and bad reviews and Syd think she’s not gonna get her credit that’s why the reviews are all about carm in her head.

DTGstl314

They don't have any stars to lose yet.

Sam

On the two songs playing. They're juxtaposing the song that was playing when Carmy said all those things to Claire, and the song that played when Carmy was having a panic attack and calmed himself by thinking of Syd if I'm not mistaken. Really loved it.

DJ Muldrow

Carmy slowly turning into his old boss, won’t be long before he tells someone to go die

Teddy McDonald

Agree, feels like the writers are forcing it a little bit, earlier seasons it felt organic.

A.

I think you need to understand that it's been about a week since she got the offer.

RMMonster

Is it just me, or is season three a little lackluster?

BabyFoodChewer

It feels like this to me because not much happens story wise compared for the first two seasons. Like barely anything has happened

Devin B

Still the sooner the better

SapphireRose

The production was affected by the strikes, which is why so many of these episodes are smaller scale and only on like a handful of sets per episode.

Jigga Man

Imagine dropping the ball with someone like Claire 🥲 I'd be stressed too man, she's literally perfect for Carms

Khayta

It’s not just you. I’m in a film geek gc with fans of the bear and every single person agrees it’s the weakest season. I could talk about it for a long time but it’s still good, just not as strong as the previous two seasons.

Jonathan

Yoo didnt X sample that song in the beggining

Xavier Baker

nah ,Sheera was not spittin ,thats two different situations AND Carmy and Claire still aint the Fak's business either

Xavier Baker

makes literally no difference, thats like saying "Well a week ago I heard that Russia wanted to start a war ,but I wasnt sure how to tell you about it Mr. President",that would catch them off guard and have no time to prepare bro ,and bro who offered her this already lead with the fact that "IM ON A TIMELINE" so........

Besaw

With The Bear and HotD coming to an end just throwing out some other shows I'd love to see reactions to; The Last Kingdom, Mr. Robot, The Wire, and Community.

Devin B

Lol that's what I'm saying. The sooner the better if it's business related.

Ribking

+1 for The Wire!

sotonye ogan

Im tired of The Faks ngl lol

sotonye ogan

She was not cooking saying Fak was talking to Claire cuz its disrupting "their business" how about they go break boxes like they suppose too? lmao they are just being aggravating as normal.

sotonye ogan

a weak season was always bound tbf

sotonye ogan

@Jose Iglesias You didnt hear when Jimmy is saying hes close in pulling the plug but Syd should just stick around while Carmy is holding the reins and actively fucking it up? oh ok

sotonye ogan

That John Cena cameo and whole haunting charade was the last straw for me....

Jamaal Ellison

I'm on both the Last kingdom train and the wire train.

Xavier Baker

Facts, like I mean no disrespect but sometimes Sheeran says sumn and the treat it like the gospel and it don't even make sense I'm sorry🤣😭😭

M

The faks aren’t aggravating, they’re funny, and sweet 🤣🤣🤣

GigaDirt

Fake are the best part about this show besides Richie lol but I can see how one would see that

GigaDirt

Vikings has my vote, we've been rallying for it since they made the patreon but it is long as shit, but I do vote for it

Xavier Baker

Hear me out , ion mind them , I love em too, but there is a limit to everything no matter who it is in my opinion

AmityBloaf

First 2 minutes aint NONE of them reacted to all those classic movies tricks... oldest movie niggas recognize is Boys In The Hood LOL

Besaw

Yeah I dug Vikings but it is pretty long. And I feel there's a couple of seasons that drag a bit where I feel The Last Kingdom is shorter and more consistent season to season.

DsWorldd •

Do u have one of Uncle Jimmy’s golf clubs lodged up ur ass too?

CentipedeKid

While the Faks shouldn't have gone there on Carmy's behalf their intentions were true. Both of them care about eachothers but neither wants to make the first move. It's also kind of hard here because they all know eachother like family. They all hangout with eachother and even if Carmy and Claire aren't going to be in a relationship they need to be able to tolerate being in the same room together.

CentipedeKid

I mean it's kind of their business they care about Claire and Carmy. That's their family. They just want everyone to be happy.

Xavier Baker

And I love em for it but it's also really intrusive still, I get it , I really do but it's something he kinda needs to work through himself at the end of the day

Phroug

I'm just happy that Fak immediately told Claire that Carmy didn't know that they were there. At first I was scared of the usual trope where the love interest gets upset because the MC wasn't willing to show up themselves

Nancy Raha

they are the comic relief through all the stress, i love them

Adrian Locke

I’ve noticed that every single person in the show has completely misinterpreted what Carmy was saying to himself in the walk-in. He didn’t say that if his relationship with Claire collapsed it would be her fault he said it would be HIS fault because he feels he messes up everything he gets close to. None of that situation was any of Richard or anybody’s business to get involve with in the first place besides Carmy & Claire. And no, Sheera, Carmy would be justified in getting upset about the job offer if he hears it from the other dude and not Sydney because he still views Sydney as his partner; the same way how Sydney is justified in being upset with Carmy because even though he views her as his partner, she doesn’t feel as though she is. It’s two separate situations where both parties are not communicating with one another.

Fendifvce

The song in a intro a X song

EmoBurrito

Bro, that shit is straight up weird. Like why would u go to an Ex's (wifes) marriage? The nerve of her to ask him to come too. Like you left his ass, knowing he still loved you, and now you want him to go to your marriage??? And Richie is just as weird IF he does end up going. The excuse of, "Him getting along with her new husband" is wild. You can get along with him just fine, and co parent without going to their marriage lol. His daughter MIGHT wonder where he is but that's all, no major blowback. He doesn't have to be resentful but going to their marriage? Especially when he still has feelings? This whole situation the show is trying to portray is just fucking weird.

Malcolm Hughes

Lol Lupa I caught that Dave Chappelle reference

Malcolm Hughes

If Syd leaves, (I understand completely that she should considering the results shown from lack of communication), if she leaves that might affect Carmy's mental even further. So they need to get that shit off their chest & put action behind the words.

Malienna

Keep trying😭

Wizard

Yet it is realistic, this stuff happens. Plus they’ve known each other for a long time, it’s not unreasonable for Richie’s ex wife to want to remain atleast cordial for their daughter. It’s a selfish decision and she told him as much in the scene. It’s uncomfortable but that’s what it’s meant to be.

Vinne

Fak genuinely is carmy's only non work friend atp so yeah good on him
