that ending was wild!

Why isnt Lupa here btw? This isnt a romcom, i think he wouldve liked it

Shiroja

Currently at 29:17 What if Nanno is the one who lent his parents money? So to pay off the debt she had them act as servants and set the whole thing up.

Your kinda qt

Personally I agree with what Roshi was saying. Everyone has a price and it’s clear that the relationship between the son and the parents will never return to normal BUT it was basically said by the dad that if the son ever decided to something like this again and it involves money then they would want to be apart of it no matter the situation. Also the speech the dad gave about hardworking etc is basically null and void since it seems that his wife and himself are interested in getting easy money (maybe not all the time but probably when there’s a lot on the table based on his ending statement). Anyways great reaction and i think the episodes just get better so im looking forward to the other eps! :)

halsa

It was voted on a duo poll bc if it was on a trio it probably wouldn’t haven’t won for other trio show requests

Huemon_Nottabear

Why does the intro music (4:38) remind me of the "Travelers" theme? Might be time for another rewatch.

LaTesha

That sounds about right Roshi. This was one the many episodes that I liked from season 1. Looks like they got a family scam to do as long as the son wants to continue pretending.

Unknown

mmm gotcha

Zay C.

I know buddy’s heart dropped at the parent jumpscare

Lola

Sky Castle and Queen Maker on Netflix, a wild and great ride for both K drama

Huemon_Nottabear

Also I look it up, a baht is 0.02USD. So actually double the Yen.

Cami

i think the father meant it as "please let us know what you're up to next time" because he had basically been lying to his parents the entire time, but I could see it from your perspective too! oh and 350.000 baht is around 10 thousand usd in case you were wondering

Zay C.

Dino sorry asf

Azula

Haven't watched the whole episode yet but when they are on the phone and nanno is like "the problem would be solved if they went to your house" and she's not wrong if that guy just brought them to his actual house and was like hey im not rich im sorry for lying to you I'm sure it would have been resolved like peacefully or smth. Edit: yeah NVM this guy's insecurity/fear of what his friends think is crazy and after finally watching the whole thing that son is like the worst.

J Man

I think Nanno is like the devil or something? Her "temptations" remind me of the Snake in the Garden if Eden. Most notably here, but also in all her other temptations so far, her bargains are all "Faustian Bargains" which is a signature of Satan. This episode's Faustian bargain was sick and stressful. Just imagine you hanging out with your foolish friends and acting a fool, all while yo mommy and daddy are glaring at you in the corner!

Bria A.

Yeah, a friend never sent the car. Dino booked a rideshare / rental — so to the kids it looks like he has a chauffeur and to his parents he lied and said a friend got it for him.

Huemon_Nottabear

I'm not rich, but I do manage people. You gotta stand up for your people at some point. How the fuck can you say your in charge if you let guests run over "your" people.

J Man

That kid with the bleached hair is the worst. Not only was he the most acting a fool, but he made the situation 100 times more stressful for no reason. Someone needed to pistol whip his face in

Mario Munoz

Y’all should react to the cw flash

Moon Wolf

My guy, have you not watched Moving? Or Glory? Or any other duo reaction they have done

Unknown

See that? That’s the ground. You can hop off there. Off my dick. Sir Wolf

LaTesha

I'm not shooting myself in the arm for barely $35000 usd. Yea nall. 😂

LaTesha

Imagine getting beat with a gun and a golf club for the amount of almost $10,000 usd

SemiThunder

Please seek a therapist immediately

Mario Munoz

says the one with Sakuta Azusagawa as his profile pic

Mario Munoz

lol bett you liked the movie huh?

OnceUponABowl

Nanno most of the time barely does anything and the situation turns up worse and worse lol

SunnyShai

Dino could have salvaged this situation like a dozen times but he acted like a whole 🤡

J Man

I understand why Dino went for it tho. He screwed his family out of their entire bank account, and thus would have made a profit of 1,000,000 bhat. 6 times the amount that Dino cleared from his dad's atm card. What's bad about shooting the arm though, is there's a handful of arteries in the arm, like the wrist or around the elbows.

LaTesha

That's what tripped me out. Most of them chose to shoot themselves in like the elbow joint right in the middle like come on. The one boy that was a total menace aimed it to where if it did shoot he would miss his arm and shoot the other kid in the stomach if his hand jumped if the gun went off on his turn. 👀 I mean I wonder what the healthcare is like over there in terms of health insurance and how much of his winnings would have had to go to that hospital visit. If they paid him.

LaTesha

Completely random but I think you guys would like the Netflix series Marco Polo it's pretty good and similar to Shogun. Just something to watch in your off time if you haven't seen it already.

Nyarlathothep's nyaughty discord kitten

They should react to the whole retarded CW shebang, it's pretty funny. Legends of Tomorrow is the only good comic superhero show, other than Legion.

Mario Munoz

Legends of Tomorrow??!! oh shit no, gtfo somewhere

Mario Munoz

but you right bro, they ALRIGHT overall

J Man

I know this probably doesn't mean anything to the plot, but I found it funny that one of Dino's rich kid friends mentioned how they really wanted Congee (Rice porridge) like it was some sort of delicacy, and in the end of the episode Dino is eating Congee with his family (Congee/Jook is very cheap to make. It's rice, chicken stock, ginger, salt, and optional meat. 1000 year old egg works good too. The ginger actually neutralizes the funk from the 1000 year old egg). I like to put a bit of MSG, Shoxing wine, and Sesame oil in when I cook it. It tastes very good, even though it looks like "everything the body needs" from the Matrix. It's nothing fancy and even the poorest families eat it on the regular because it's so cheap to make; yet it tastes good if you do it right (a pinch of ham bouillon is something I add for seasoning too). 🥣

ok

Before that they should watch better (but similar) series like Vikings and The Last Kingdom. Just in my opinion!

J Man

Legends of Tomorrow's main story isn't bad. It's the fillers that bog it down. One problem that all Arrowverse shows have is they have fillers that feel non-canon that make the seasons feel long. Arrow and Flash's fillers are pretty good. Legends of Tomorrow's fillers feel boring most of the time

J Man

But I do agree, they should watch Flash. Great series

J Man

The safest part to shoot would have probably have been the edge of a thigh or something. Or even through the bicep. Roshi was right though. Revolvers usually don't cause exit wounds. Exit wounds are actually safer because that usually takes just stitches to heal up. A revolver has HIGH "stopping power" (if there a high caliber or hollow point round in the chamber). Meaning it not only would feel like the hardest punch in the world, but it can also cause the arm to explode at a point blank range like that.

Atlas Creation

One thing i noticed is that during the dad’s rant, he mentions the amount of money it takes to raise kids. I thought this was kinda weird because you would think he would say “Do you know how much your parents love you,” or something like that. I think that’s another hint that dino’s parents are also money hungry

Unknown

I'm starting to understand what this series is about. It's an "educational" series where the viewers are the third party that Nanno REALLY educates from her actions through her targets. It's as if Nanno is saying, "This is how things turn out when you have the resources to follow a bad path." Nanno is the storyteller with her actual target being the audience, and her victims are the story.

LaTesha

I think they saw vikings before I'm not sure. Not sure about the last kingdom either. I was thinking of they could just watch Marco Polo, but not as a reaction just something for them to watch on their own.

LaTesha

They probably want to try it because it looks and sounds good and everyone else gets to eat it but them because their parents probably call it poor people food. I'm sure they could find an establishment that could make it for them if they don't have a friend's parent to make it. It reminds me of that chef on Hells kitchen that didn't want to pair rice with any of his dishes because he said it was poor people food 🤨

Delinda Arts

LISTEN i understand they got paid for their silence, but Dino aint me bc we all gonna be some dead mfs if you beat my dad and pistol whip my mother lmao

J Man

Reminds me of the Parasite movie, where the rich family's treat meal was mixing two instant ramen packets together.

Shay.dy

Yall should react to teen wolf, I think you guys would like it

Patsakorn Pariyapranee

You are correct, yup. This show aims to take jabs at societal issues in Thailand by making an exaggerated (mostly) depiction of weird things that people in Thailand do. In this case, it is the importance of image and power in Thailand. People with money and influence can take control of so many things, those things can be as significant as electing a president (but I guess that is not only in Thai, lol), and that some people in Asia actually go broke trying to appear fancy on social media in order to attract rich people either for connections or just clout. As a Thai myself, I would say that these episodes portray accurate and problematic issues in my country but with good intentions of raising awareness to them.

J Man

Did y'all watch Parasite? It goes over the same rich and poor dynamics as this episode. As well as involving a family that works together to scam people. Won the Academy Award a few years ago for best movie. The end of this episode reminded me of that movie

Sekraan

Parasite is goated. I feel like they would have already seen it though

moonwashere

i am so excited to see y'all react to the next episode

moonwashere

also i recommend the k drama weightlifting fairy kim bokjoo

Kidhavac

Yeah that nigga with the blonde hair got his crashout badge on hall of fame😂😂😂

Megapluto

Wallahi😭.. and dude a hoe for letting his ppls get beat on

Bria A.

They want fancy restaurant congee which I assume they think is an upper class marker, because I don’t think any of them have ever had food that wasn’t ordered or made for them by chefs 😭

Jay

When I saw the parents dressed as servants. I thought that it was their second job. A side from being business owners and the parents didn’t tell Dino cause they were embarrassed.

EFFect_Phantom

Yeah I agree and I think this also pairs to Roshi's point at the end as well

ronnie | soaffectionate

⚠️ spoiler ⚠️ whose ready to see the ep when nanno gets a man pregnant 😭😭

OnceUponABowl

when i watched both season a while back nothing surprises me but that episode was hilarious to me

Brenda Kai

What's the point of even commenting spoilers. Just talk about it in the discord with a spoiler tag or something

GormleyPeach

Had no interest in this show but now I'm about to catch up on these reactions after reading that comment xD

Eliana

It’s a whole spoiler tag on their comment what???😂😂😂

Lezu

You could have done Spoiler: Done. Smh

ronnie | soaffectionate

i put the emojis too to make it more obvious but ill just do it another way if i comment a “spoilrr”

ronnie | soaffectionate

another thing what ill say is u should watch all of the season 2 its alot more fleshed out and interesting

Nessa

That blonde mf should’ve got his ass beat 😨

Kraivathin Kritaramrueng

Roshi got it right on after episode discussion, the dad lost 200k to his son, and now they got 350k back, 150k profit, hence, aight, son, if it's this profitable, tell me and mom if there's the next job kinda deal XD

Dark Shogun

I would have seriously hurt that blonde boy if he hit my dad. If he hit my mom I would have unalived him with the quickness.

Katsa Middluns

"is that grass" I'm so glad this joke never died

rickie woodson

When keeping up with the jongjits goes wrong

iTanasia

this episode makes me so sad

Vinne

Now that I think about it these kids have such a golden spoon in their mouths that taking multiple cars from school and home makes sense for them but they probably dont use Ubers or anything like that since they throw money around. Dino is a good kid though so I think that's why his ending isn't as brutal as the others (if he keeps running this lie, but his parents would make 150k extra)
