I’m not gonna lie, this episode was definitely the weakest animation and direction wise. Khun and Bam definitely looked weird at most scenes along with how choppy and minimalistic the animation was. I hope they don’t disappoint with the rest of the season.

I don't even understand how Rachel doesn't know that Khun knows. In 1x13 Khun told her that he wished he had met Bam before her and that she doesn't realize how much Bam cared for her, which at least indicates his dislike for her if not his suspicion.

I wish they would kept to the clothes Khun had in the webtoon it would kept with the prestige of him returning. I agree though better ep than last one. Also for people that might forgot they maybe part of the same family Khun (AA) and Ran. It’s not a brotherly relationship, closer to like distant cousin who work together. A lot of the bigger families don’t have that big of a bond through the series as is shown as times.

Quick call outs: Khun was kinda obsessively washing his hands because he couldn’t stand touching Rachel. One small detail in the WEBTOON is when Khun was giving his speech Rachel was actually listening to part of it with her light house which is why she started laughing out of nowhere because she really thought she had them fooled. When she removed her light house that’s when Khun let the team know how he really felt about Rachel. Anyways fire reaction guys! Enjoyed this episode a lot more than the last one.

Yeah “found family” is one of the biggest themes which I really appreciate, but family lineage is very complicated and turns social-political with the bigger families. I do hope they address the reason between the two eventually more in detail, but maybe not as I been closely following the webtoon for years now and it’s kinda ignored point (could be I missed/forgot) but still waiting on an in-depth explanation.

I can agree, the art is a step down from S1, but the pacing is something that's actually far better than the manwha. In the manwha they spent dozens of chapters explaining Wangnan before he even met Baam. Then the rest of that tower test was about Wangnan and his crew. In the manwha, Baam actually played a minimal part. I think they did what was best and just cut almost all of that stuff out so they could get to what people care about - which is what happened to the rest of the gang.

to both above ran is khun's half brother. but the overall dynamic is if you arent full blood related in the khun family you shouldnt act like you are close. that being said ran is not maria full brother either . he is maschenny's full brother (the princess talking to yuri in first episode) . to this day no one knows why ran is following khun

the pacing was admittingly bad in the beginning because they crammed 24 chapters in 4 episodes. the return of the prince arc that season 2 covers is 56 chapters in the manwha. This episode 5 covered 3.5 chapters. leaving 28 chapters to anime with 8 episodes left. the pacing should improve dramatically. all i can about the animation is that its inconsistent the first episode of action was solid, 3 and 4 were wonky because it felt like they were in a rush
