Its something to do with the melanin interacting with with our blood cells. That's why you'll never find a white person at these facilities

Sickle cell is actually caused by natural selection, originally from Africa (so not too far off with it being melanin related), basically the blood cells evolved to fight off diseases like Malaria, and HIV but at the cost of oxygen not properly getting to the bloodstream causing the cells to harden.

Roshi is right at the end, Sabrina is using her telekinesis to fly it’s not more than one power and Rodney has super speed which makes his whole body faster just like the flash so that’s why he burns calories really fast and can heal fast, that’s all one power. Michael’s power or powers is kinda confusing but he could just have time powers instead of teleportation he’s just able to jump through time I guess, even him “teleporting” could just be him jumping through time for 1 second and ending up in a different place… idk😭

They can't give the blood they took from the dead lady to anyone. I also don't think they have enough of the living ones for that either. Roshi is right about the fast guy. His powers are pretty much a copy of The Flash's base powers. He can run fast, heal fast, and throw lightning. Also like The Flash he needs a lot of calories because of the extremely fast metabolism. I'm still not convinced anyone is giving these people powers. Why give random people powers in an uncontrolled environment and then capture them? I think like the X gene in X-Men this is a mutation. In this case it only happens with people that probably have the Sickle Cell trait.

I think this is why we tried to make it clear that Michael being able to teleport and time travel are the same thing and not different powers. Now Sheera thinks we into some mha all for one shenanigans. Which I'm not saying couldn't be true just that for what we've seen so far all the abilities they demonstrate can be done with a single power.
