The number of times I have listened to the opening song to this is crazy, it gets me hyped up, lol. I remember liking this anime a lot when it came out, it was so different, should be a fun ride.

rajave

I started watching this when you announced that you'd be reacting to it because the premise sounded really interesting. This kinda gives me Ikiru vibes, which feels intentional.

Zay C.

Imma need that ep 2 expeditiously

Yoori

I tried watching this on my own a few years ago and couldn't get past ep 1 bc I was so emotional for the mc and how his family treated him. Maybe I'll be able to get through it with y'all.

Valentino Garay

NO WAY This comes from where?? Great choice 100%

Ethan J Soto

Wow, pretty stoked you're watching this

sash wing

Congratulations on watching this classic show. Well that's what I say episode 1 hope you make it to episode 12. Cause oh boy the story gets wild and just upgrades with each episode.

Jay

What’s the release schedule for this?

Gordon Lou

woah they reacting to this, very nice surprise

NecDW4

LETS GOOOOOOO!!!!!!

KingdorismHD

Can't wait for the bang bang scenes

Beckett Cullen

I just realized the beginning of this episode is a reference/homage to the Akira Kurosawa film Ikiru which is about an old salaryman finding out he has stomach cancer and theres a scene where he sits on a swing and sings that same song

andrew

Oh God there watching it they are going to see the scene 😅

Brandon Acevedo

Those kids at the park were just the tip of the ice burg of evil.

Kenammi

You're in for a ride! Enjoy

Cold_Cyber

Whitney Williams

I'm so happy more people are reacting to this show...so I'm not the only person traumatized 😂 Also the intro is a banger

Son Goku

This anime takes such a dark turn that it becomes one of the best Sci-Fi dark anime’s of all time.!! Wait til the villain shows up!!

DsWorldd •
>>147981900

These shows be portraying the average Japanese citizen like an apostle demon from berserk, ik humans can be fucked up but GAHLEE😭

Kiril Malakhov

Welp, that's unfortunate... I was hoping he'd murder them kids in cold blood. We'll get em next time, boss!

JotaroDrake

Jacob Crooks

Thanks for listening to the recommendations. My hopes were not wasted.

Spriggz

You're freaking welcome for the recommendation! Been on so many polls I thought it'd never see its day. Next episode can't come soon enough

Quincy

I’m so glad you guys are finally checking this show out! I kept hoping it would happen and now it is! I know you guys will love it! 🤩🤩

Delinda Arts

naw that intro definitely hoed them lmao. I'm feelin this so far. Had no clue MAPPA was behind this!

Isaac

Always wanted to watch this one. All I knew about this was that it was about an old man who's a robot. But damn he's 58? Looking like he's in his late 70s. He must've been under a lot of stress to be looking like that. And yeah I like these serious animes like this where the art style is more "realistic" in a sense like Pluto, Ghost in the Shell, Cowboy Bebop, Paranoia Agent ( they need to watch that ) and the like and not the typical cutesy anime styles with their obnoxious tropes. I classify anime like this as mature anime. This is good.

Keondodge

Aight time to join the rest: Comment #4 World trigger Dan machi And for a movie: The anthem of the heart.

Theo Vorster

This will be a fun anime to see them react to.

Mervyn Larrier

The reason the x-ray looked blank is because dense materials reflect the x-rays. Metals basicslly reflect them entirely and look white, but they pass right through skin or soft tissue, so that doesn't show up well. So basically, the x-ray was telling them that his body is made of solid metal. Which is why they were so flabberghasted and thought the machine was broken

Leo Ruiz

I hope you guys react to Kengan Ashura one of these days that would be dope

Eli Kisamo

“Suck It.” - You know who. 😭😂💀

Lola

Please react to World Trigger too 🙏

Bona Fide

I'm so excited for this. I watched this on a whim years ago because of the name being close to Inuyasha too lol it's pretty nice

Corey Leach

So glad yall reacting to this cuz yall are in for a wild ride lmao. I found about this anime a few months ago bcuz of a viral clip going around on Twitter with the teenage boy going crazy in the city. They also have a live action version of this show.

Keondodge
>>148073707

I would say they have reacted to slower and both shows do have alot more pop off moments than you think. Might be worrying for World trigger because of its non cannon fillers but they did drop slime and idk how slow that was.

The Lonely One

That one trippie Redd song is the reason I started watching this anime.

The Lonely One

It is a coincidence that Hanako sounds like Hachi and they're both Shiba Inus.

SupremeCai

YOOO I've wanted yall to react to this for so long, lets fuckin go

saiki k.

damn ive been seeing that blue hair guy on my pinterest for a long time

saiki k.

Karabo

U gone leave me with this itch I can't scratch? Ur gonna leave me in pure agony? I can't sleep I can't eat I can't drink im restless Just point me in the right direction I just need a crumb

MGC
>>148170429

warning this guy is a dumbass^. You don't get nominated for best CGI at the crunchyroll anime awards for "ass cgi". Just admit that either cgi isn't your thing or you don't know what good cgi is and move on😂

Dark Shogun

The fact the that ship came out of FTL/warp and didn't end up inside (underground) the Earth is a miracle.

Itanna
>>148170429

lol relax it’s not that deep to be insulting someone you don’t even know

nickolas giotis
>>148170429

It's the frame rate for me. Why's it not animated at the right frame rate. Always looks like it's lagging to me

Naw1n

Bro said: I'm a villain, not a monster.

Thulani Mason

When I first saw the scene of the of the Dad helping the homeless guy I was so ready for those kids to get smoked but seeing their social lives disentigrate was soooo much more satisfying.

Didier

Believe it or not, but those cases of youngsters bullying the homeless is a regular thing in Japan, sadly...

Awol

Hyperlipidemia (HLD) is just high cholesterol

WockWizard
>>147981900

Ong, that’s lowkey my little gripe with this show is the absurdity involving the portrayal of regular Japanese society. A group of kids ganging up on an old defenceless man with bats? In Japan? 😂😂

TheDroppedFry
>>149303576

They should be sentenced to death by beating every single time. Nobody should ever even catch the thought of trying to do this. They would be evil to the core.
