That doesn't make sense at all tho. 1st, aqua was referring to himself as someone else when talking to alkane. He said nothing that remotely gives the idea that he's talking about himself. 2nd, no matter how smart you think akane is, how in the hell would a rational human come to that conclusion? "Aqua knows this doctor guy very well and i just found his dead body, oh i know, aqua must be this dead doctor who got reincarnated as a baby." For that to happen she'd have to have already accepted reincarnation as an actual thing that can happen with no proof or anything resembling proof. Like I'm confused on how you thought that could ever happen. What convinced you akane could ever figure out something that requires knowledge she could literally never obtain to figure out?

From Akane's pov Aqua talked about someone in depth to the point that made it seem like he knew his life on a personal level even though he never met him before. Put that together with the fact Aqua was asking if a corpse of a "pet" 15 years ago could be found and you can assume that Aqua knew of the dead body and was searching for it. How would you know where someone died before you were even born that no one else knew what even happened to the person in question, unless you were that person? I'm convinced that's going to be her line of questioning if she realizes the name tag.

I didn't see what the white-haired child said either, but based off your comment, what if Ai was supposed to have a miscarriage but instead of gave birth. Like the only reason they were reincarnated to be her children because her children were already DEAD. And maybe, since they died in the vicinity close to Ai and add some sort of connection they went into her children... Wait, did Ruby die that night or did she die earlier?

So peak. Man I'm gonna miss this show. I missed it when S1 ended and I'm gonna miss it after next week. I hope they confirm S3 after the last episode for a 2025 release. I'm not a manga reader but I like that they're just using all the crazy mystical and reincarnation aspects as a means to an end; to tell a story about the Japanese entertainment industry and also parenthood. I'd honestly be totally fine If by the end of the series they only give a brief explanation for all the mystical elements or even none at all. It's like how the titans came about in AOT or how zombies came about in zombie movies, it's not really the point so anything passable is good enough.

You may have overlooked it, but the white hair girl very obviously is in the know about the super natural at the very least. She said that god is kind for putting two motherless souls in the body of two soulless children. This implies that she knew that without Aqua and Ruby’s souls being put into the bodies the kids would have been stillborn, it also shows that she knows about their real identities.
