So I looked up some ages because I was curious and Ed (the dark professor) and Workner are both 26. So it kinda makes sense why Ed would have it in for Will, since his not making it to the top of the tower would be VERY recent, but it also makes the Will and Workner relationship odd since it’s been giving father-figure vibes but they’re only 10 years apart in age. That’s big brother territory and it doesn’t give off that vibe.

Okay, the one in the flashback is definitely a Finn but I'm not sure if it's the same Finn, because why was he surprised that there was a sword in the academy when he was there for Will's birth? Do all Finn's have the same voice? Because it's definitely the same.

I'm pretty sure the principal is not an Orc. I think that is just the way the editors chose to distinguish the reflection of the nose's shadow on the tea, verses the traditional frontal view. I agree it doesn't look great in retrospect, but I think you guys are going down a nothing rabbit hole with that one lol

NGL I thought yalls was just making fun of her. But could be and also makes sense since alot of races did run to the human side/world. Also Im more leaning towards half human half dwarf because of the strength factor and how many similarities there are. However the more we learn about this finn group the more he might be more half human half finn.

I don't think that Will is from the Finn tribe. I think they said all the Finn tribe have eternal youth or something so the Finn guy was younger than will. Maybe he is a half though. Instead I think that there are maybe two types of humans that they categorize into 'wands' and 'swords'. I also think that there's some sort of silent war going on. Like the elves and dwarves had to flee their worlds to come to this one, the magia vander have sealed the sky to protect from what they called the Host, which is sometimes used in fiction interchangeably with Celestial Host, which are basically the armies of heaven. I think the wands protect from heaven and climb the tower, and the Finn tribe guides the swords and they protect from hell, or the dungeon, seeing as how there's demons down there. Just some theories, cause there's lots of mystery going on which is fun.

tbh idk HOW it would tie up with Danmachi, I mean the tower and the dungeon is very similar. Maybe at the end of this, whenever they defeat whatever the fuck is behind that barrier in the sky (on some gurren lagan type beat) hundreds of years will pass, magic starts disappearing (leaving room for more warriors to exist) and gods will appear from above the barrier and start to live on top of the tower, who knows.

I felt like this was a good place to stop, all things considered. Since I read ahead, i think it makes sense to stop it here. There's too much "peak" to try and capture in the coming episodes so it's probably better to make it a season unto itself.

As much as I want them to watch Danmachi after this. I'm more hoping that now Danmachi gets some more love with the animation/story. It was already pretty good/ top tier for its time before DS/ JJK/this. But the story is more spread out than this as other reactors have pointed out. This season is what Danmachi wanted to be. But it came out when anime/manga had to spread stuff out more for sales reasons. So its a tab bit slower than this all gas season
