halsa

pardon???? The caption?

Ginger Dwarf

Why you gotta type it like that roshi

Jamaal Ellison

Just read the caption uhhhh da faq?!

Raider

Loved this show, glad they picked it back up.

King of New York

Recommending Mecha-ude. It was a kickstarter anime that started back in 2016 and it's finally getting a real adaptation with Sawano (AOT, 86, Solo Leveling) doing the soundtrack. Looks a lot like Studio Trigger. I don't think this will be a Ninja Kamui situation either

Acronix

Eat what now?!?!

TChang23

Hoping for a your lie in April trio reaction someday 🙏🏻

Devin B

Of course Roshi would make a description like this

Nicchee

Double dungeon lets GOOO

JohnnySmoke

Ass eating? Another day another Fire Punch reference, LETS GOO

Fuji

stay safe yall!

mason zeo

Sheera got mad confused lol. Chilchuck was saying that if the spores had no side effects and were permanent why werent they popular in the black market. Not that they currently are popular.

Liam Gilbert

Are we gonna get the last episode of Oshi no Ko Season 2 today?

BZD

That subtitle made me do a double take.

Dirtblokje

the pissing statue is actually a real thing in Belgium

ERRORCODE616

In response to what Sheera said at the end, the part of Falin that appears to be "getting closer" to Thistle could just be the part of her mind that's merged with the red dragon's consciousness. So if they're able defeat her and separate her from the dragon before they take on Thistle, that would potentially take care of that problem. But that's just my speculation. I'm interested to see where this story goes.

Themperor

Season two is gonna be so much better can't wait

neurofunky

@20:15 - the crossover episode where Araragi shows up with his harem to help with the Falin feast

RBGTalk

sister potluck is crazy

Sekraan

The coin shaped thing is also real: the Mouth of Truth in Rome.

Nico

S tier show, season 2’s going to be amazing when it finally drops. Hope they take their time makin’ it.

Tracey Theseira

HE'S GOTTA EAT HIS SISTERS ASS??!?! LMAOOOOO

LiquidXGravity

I'm so glad yall gave this show a 2nd chance

Romddude

Can't wait for season 2, it's going to be wild

Joseph Hallowell

i was expecting the double to be on thursday! this is dope, thanks y'all stay safe!

Delinda Arts

So happy yall spun the block on this show. I’m in love with this manga’s art style.

Lea Garrido

Nah Roshi go stand in the corner for saying Laois gotta eat his sister's ass 😂 to the corner NEOWWWW!! No but in all seriousness, thank ya'll for hopping back on the train with this show!! I know ya'll initially had doubts but as a viewer it was such a great experience to watch ya'll go from being totally uninterested in the show to totally invested and truly enjoying this show. You guys showed that sometimes a show can truly be greater than it initially seemed. Cheers and cannot wait to be back for season 2 of this!! And also ya'll stay safe now! The content and the shows will be right here when things blow over but your safety is most important! Don't feel obligated to push stuff out if things are getting crazy out there! Take care!

KomodoughDragon

Something I forgot to mention during the Golden Kingdom episode, but there is imagery of the Winged Lion throughout the entire show. The fountains they gather water from have lion heads for spouts, the living armour Laios fights has a lion helmet, the coins have lion heads on them, there are lion statues throughout the dungeon, most prominent in the city level where they fight the dragon, even Laios' sword has a lion head on the hilt decoration. All very subtle worldbuilding for a millennium-old kingdom stuck in time in the dungeon—you likely wouldn't notice most of this without a rewatch, or unless you've read the manga.

KomodoughDragon

This episode adapts up to the end of Chapter 52 in the manga, so if anyone's looking to hop on the source material, you'll want to start with Chapter 53 (though you can also just start from the beginning, there was a fair bit of cut content!). For anyone who's not aware, the manga has a total of 97 chapters, meaning we are more than halfway through at the end of this episode. That also means that we only need one more season to wrap things up—assuming they do two cours again. The second half of the manga is by far the best half, both in terms of story and art. Highly recommend picking it up if anyone finds themselves wanting more Meshi!

NecDW4

I like how Roshi keeps calling him Kanbaru... someone has Monogatari on the brain.

Michael Kaiser

thank you for the reaction cant wait to witness peak with y'all season 2 finna b wild

KingdorismHD

I don't get how the hell did I skip this anime last year. I thought it was boring. But after finding out that the same creators that made edgerunners made thus show. I gave it a second chance and fell in love with it

Chibi
>>151801633

first 2 eps were boring ngl. I was about to drop it but ep 3 got me hooked

Brandon Acevedo

This was such a great series. It had a great balance of world building, action, comedy, and suspense, Excited for Season 2.

Mrlanie

sheera was not the chef this episode, instead it was time for her takes to become…. COOKED

Isaac
>>151789205

Though I honestly think Falin herself would feel compassion for them. She's a sweetheart and a gentle soul and very empathetic to just about anything so I think it's a combo of the dragon along with how she naturally is.

If Its

I think the winged lion is what Laos want to help them defeat the magician not falin they know falin is controlled not the winged lion sheera got confused or I’m confused

Fizzy

Show was so good had to binged it myself

WillGlacier

Damn remember when ya'll dropped this anime a while back? This is why you LET THEM COOK!

Barbietube

Yes, yes the plot thickens...just like Falin's juicy dragon ass

Michael Afful

Roshi gotta stop calling kabru kanbaru dawg I be cry laughing

Pai-Sal

Falin's dragon is the main course, the finale. But before that, we got to try another dishes first in season 2 and they're delicious......... In dungeon! I will be here watching you guys there when season 2 comes out!

Kisuke01

Noooooo I hate to see it go now we wait

cyberspacecat

Really appreciate you folks for sticking with it, it might not grab everyone at first but once you get into the deeper world building and immediate conflict there's way more to chew on, so to speak.

Diggs

Anyone know what animator did the scene where they threw Marcille up? That scene looked amazing.

Nick Vaughn

I…uh…volunteer to provide the “stuffing” for Falin before she’s cooked 😂 but also I think the lesson y’all learned here is that before writing something off, sometimes you just gotta be patient and let shows…cook 👀

Maleny

putting your dick in the statue mouth only for it to turn into a left foot

Fobbles

What I like about the scene with Falin and the wizard is it shows she still is Falin even under control. She did what Laios and her do when they see monsters, she was like “ooo what do you taste like?” The wizard had to stop her 😂

Krype

Izutsumi's attempt to comfort her in her own awkward way was sweet.

Pater-san

Hope you guys are safe!

KomodoughDragon
>>151848345

Ichigo Kanno was the key animator for that scene. He also did the initial undine scene (Marcille fighting the undine), the Falin resurrection scene, and the second Familiar vs. Griffin scene, among many others. He's worked on a lot of the season's most important & higher budget scenes.

Skye

over the course of this rewatch I see more and more of myself in Laios

Orlandez Malone

So glad we bullied yall into giving this another chance lol. Can't wait for season 2!!

Ren Lichtfoot

Great end to season 1. Perfect mix of lore, story telling and action.

Raider

10:58 , 19:31 🤣

Justin Spencer

I thought your caption was wild but yea it basically amounts to that 😂

Shawn Oxley

Ngl I enjoyed this more than Frieren, I pray s2 is the same quality

Ash

Glad y'all picked this back up. Here's hoping studio trigger also does season 2!

Joe’s Strange Journey
>>151835257

Real! I watched the whole season once all the episodes were out, got withdrawals, read the whole manga, got withdrawals, started watching their reaction (and thankfully they already picked it back up) but now that’s finished like oop time to go back into DunMesh withdrawal again I guess

Baron Salt

So, the reason why Liaos didn't say turn Falin back into a human is because you can't. Changing mushrooms can only turn you into something related to your original species. The gargoyles are animated stones so the spores can only turn them into stone objects. The group were all humanoids so it turned them into humanoid species. Falin is part dragon so it couldn't turn her fully human, only turn her into half human half reptilian species.

Ougi

Roshi called kabru kanbaru and I remembered mono reactions were a thing

DANIEL PEREZ
>>152390449

so wouldn't it be better to kill fali/dragon and like they said the soul is stuck inside so cut off the dragon meat off and then like they usually do use sheep blood and meat to revive her that way the proper way not what marcille did. like the egg metaphor right now they share both bodies and souls but the very laws of this dungeon can allow the plan since even the meat senshi was about to prepare, it went back to the dragon. some part of the dragon soul was in the still dragon meat maybe this way they can separate the cat girl which would be a waste to make her human gain

RavinFox .

Just wanted to say thank you for watching this one!
