If you liked the Ballerina Korean movie you should check out Kill Boksoon, it’s on Netflix and it’s also a similar but I like it better over ballerina. You should also react to Juvenile Justice, it’s a Korean show about smiting kids in the courtroom

You guys can't do anything about it because you guys aren't Korean, but it is kind of frustrating seeing you guys not able to catch the different intonations of when they speak. For example, when Hwang Jang Soo said sorry, if you knew Korean, you would know that he wasn't being sincere at all. You guys did nothing wrong, though. It's just unfortunate that things like that can't transfer over easily.

This show hurts my heart to watch because it feels so real. My dad served in the 70s and he said many times that if a war had broken out on the peninsula, he would have shot his superiors first before shooting any North Koreans. His reasoning was that the North Koreans had never starved and hazed him like his superiors had.

Yeah it's super hard to catch those underlying tones when you haven't listened to the language 24/7
