The only thing that gives me faith that the u20 match might have solid animation, is that the production of this show in every other aspect is actually really good. Animation takes me out but tbf the music, sfk, Voice Acting and all that is really good. Just give me some actual running/footwork/impact animation ffs.

Only reason why I'm jot as optimistic is cause I heard some peeps working on the animation was forced to cut the animation and cheap out cause of time. Not 100% sure but the video i watched showed cut pieces of animation of isagi think.

Nah it's really not. It's bad. The fact that it's so much worse than season 1 and any other top-tier sports manga adaptation is also only going to hurt the overall Blue Lock brand. Nearly everyone loved Joker 1 and Joaquin Phoenix as his own Joker but now that Joker 2 is mostly hated people write the whole franchise off including the first one. The same thing happens with shows like these. Bunch of people also wrote slime off after season 3 (Which was also done by 8bit btw like Blue Lock).

And to top it of, im just gonna list u the projects that Bandai Namco has given 8Bit between the end of Blue Lock S1 and the start of Blue Lock S2. CMIIW, but that times gap was 1 year and 6 months between the seasons. AND U KNOW HOW MUCH PROJECT DID BANDAI FVCKIN NAMCO GIVE 8BIT IN THAT TIMES GAP ? 1. SYNDUALITY NOIR 2. SHY 3. SYNDUALITY NOIR PART 2 4. TENSURA S3 5. YURU CAMP S3 6. MAHOUKA S3 7. BLUE LOCK EPISODE NAGI 8. SHY S2. COUNT THAT. 8!! IN THAT SPAN TIME OF 1 YEAR AND 6 MONTHS. MAKE IT 9 INCLUDING BLUE LOCK S2. BUDGET DOESN'T EVEN GONNA DO ANYTHING IN THAT MESSED UP SCHEDULE, THIS MOTHERFVCKERS HIGHER UPS IS THE ONE WHO ONLY THINKS ABOUT MONEY.
