technically kendall was “making a move” against logan. HE put on the teleprompter logan’s surprise retirement announcement knowing that logan would never want that and that he would see as a betrayal. to logan, kendall did try to “shoot him in the street like a dog”

I think it was a temporary line to put the joke there later, cause for the first half of the episode, he said multiple time about finding a joke, and everyone know he's not funny and shit. It was probably the only think that he didn't write on the speech, cause he was waiting on jokes written by someone else etc, like he ask to his secretary at the beginning. I think he was genuine, and it was only a misundertanding.

This is a great ep and it’s laying out the last bits of groundwork for the rest of the series. Like everyone bullying the shit out of whoever is one level lower on the food chain. Or Rome’s weird sex shit (he gets boundary issues when his gf is in the bathroom with him then he uses her phone on her as a vibrator). Connor’s inability to be normal and his insane politics. The kids selling each other out for nothing. Ken constantly eating shit and inability to escape his family name. And Logan being a force of nature.

Ken seems to actually be a human being with remorse and empathy--his biggest flaw being that he needs validation, meanwhile his dad is an actual piece of shit who actively stokes competition within his own family and leaves toxicity wherever he goes, while being an actual terrible businessman sustained by an unsustainable debt and covering up terrible crimes while blatantly bragging about influencing politics, and this guy is "big dicking" it Great show. Shows you that people really don't care about ethics at the end of the day behind all the virtue signaling.

This is a rewatch for me so I won’t spoil anything. But it should be obvious that Logan is a bad guy on a moral and ethical level. That said there is a reason as will be shown over the course of the series why Logan succeeds in business and in life while Ken fails. And Logan is many things, but he is not a bad business man. In business he’s about as good as it gets. And fwiw, I think this show gets right how a lot of things actually work in the real world. Like Logan said in the first ep, sometimes it really is a big dick competition.

pay attention to the fact that roman hated that grace was touching on him when they were in his bathroom, and when they had “sex” later roman was touching HER rather than them touching each other. and how logan is able to change and lock in when he’s doing business, or perceived publicly, and when no one is looking, show his “real” physical pain. i cant tell which is fake and which real honestly. idk if yall saw that he (logan) took steroids before he left for his speech i think marcia is more slick than shes letting on, i think she didn’t want the kids to see logan right after his aneurysm, bc they would have grounds to take the company away because he was currently unfit to rule lol. and throughout this ep she was pushing for logan to be strong enough to do his speech, even when logan said he might not be able to do it, she told him to do anyway and at the end of the episode the last thing u see is her lingering smile after everything kind of goes their way and logan is back as king and she can have her voting seat
