BTW you should watch the little "behind the scenes/making of" short that is up on Netflix for this show. They explain a bit more of the history this is based on. The time period this takes place in was one filled with poverty strife and famine that were caused or ignored by the ruling class. Which is actually pretty common. During the potato famine, for example the British government only allocated about .5% of their budget across five years to relief efforts for the disaster, and they let over ONE MILLION people die for nothing. The show just adds zombies to the equation. Zombies that were caused by nobles trying to hang on to every little bit of power they could.

GojosHoho

Someone is always being selfish in these disastrous situations 😭

illnamethechannellater653

If you brang a tired up coffin to a place you wouldn't expect people to open it and feed the body to people.

KingdorismHD

Lmao sheera with the script cheat 🤣

I'm replying to them saying the doctor is negligent in the beginning. If you just brought a coffin to a village, it was tied up and sealed would you really expect someone to open it and feed people the body iinside?

JohnnySmoke

I'm deadass bout to sneak watch this while working checkouts

KomodoughDragon

Yes, she was absolutely trolling him lmao. She's smart and NOT interested

There are three types of infected: Type A: The recently deceased who were resurrected by the resurrection plant. They always become blood-thirsty monsters. The victims of Type A however do not become monsters after death. Type B: Those who cannibalizes the body of a victim of Type A. Shortly after consuming the flesh of a Type A victim, the person will take ill and die, before reanimating as a monster. A victim of a Type B will reanimate as a monster after death, unlike the victim of a Type A. Type C: The bitten victims of Type B After being bitten, they become very ill with decreasing body temperature until they die. The person will then reanimate as a monster and is capable of turning his victim into a monster as well. Type C and Type B is different only from how they acquire the illness; other than that, both types are indistinguishable from each other.

Yoori

Is she actually pregnant? I was wondering this after seeing the blood because if she miscarried I feel like she would freak out a bit more? Or even be slightly concerned but it seemed more like she got her period and was making sure no one saw she was bleeding in order to get rid of the evidence.

KomodoughDragon

Yes, people were going to get left behind anyway, but the nobles are just assholes. Sneaking away without warning and not even considering saving children or vulnerable people because they're peasants, and loading up the cargo with valuables instead. Like "oh well, who cares if a hundred kids die, at least I still have my gold tea set and zombie son in a box", just trash behaviour. Would anyone do it? Probably, yes, it's a desperate situation. Does it still make them assholes, especially considering they already think their lives are worth more than the peasants'? Absolutely.

Spotting during pregnancy isn't uncommon, even late-term. I think it's more likely just foreshadowing that something's wrong with the pregnancy, and she's probably aware that something's been wrong for a while. I can't imagine she'd be able to hide not being pregnant for so long with how many check-ups she must have, unless there's some really dumb twist incoming.

Ren Lichtfoot

Happy holidays everyone, that's all - that's the message!

TheMilkMan

I forgot how fast they turned, yeah nah, this show makes World War Z look safer

Opal

The answer to your question about why the royal physicians chose to try to resurrect the king isn't explained until the special episode prequel "Ashin of the North." It seems like they were given the plant instead of it being their idea. The prequel explains why. You should definitely watch it!

Opal
>>156795014

It's crazy because if they weren't given the plant they probably would've just pretended the king was still alive like y'all said & then none of this would've happened lol.

Fijith1

Quick question when are they going to do the next ep for dan da dan ?

Yoori
>>156786313

She’s a queen, she doesn’t need check ups if she doesn’t want it and no one can force her unless they’re above her authority. And because no one other than the very conveniently unavailable king can even view her naked, how do we know she’s pregnant? I mean it was pretty common for the wealthy to fake their pregnancy and just hire/force a maid to pop one out for them in order to pass the kid off as their own.

Kpop Tart

After this series, you guys should totally watch ‘Under the Queen’s Umbrella’. It’s another period kdrama.

sordid mirth

Bro that woman is fucking stupid. She's like that old lady from Train to Busan that opened the door because her dead sister was there. The only difference is that in Train to Busan, they fucking deserved it. Not saying these guys doesn't ncessarily deserve it, but Roshi's right, at least people are surviving because people will ultimately be left behind no matter what. Now not only will the peoplel left behind will most likely die, they will too because her dumbass don't wanna burn her dumbass love one's body smh

Janana

nah them putting foundation on the king's corpse took me tf out lmaoooo

Ragnar Pendon

"he was in shock" is now my top 10 plothole bandaid

>>156797779

By next week…bro he’s gone for the week for his father funeral let him grief for a bit. Do y’all not read the schedule posts he puts up every week??

Aaron Posey

Me and Roshi think alike. I could give a fuck about a corpse when the living are endangered. Fuck you and your only son in three generations I just saw a 6 year old get eaten by their mother while their sister watched from a box. What are we talking about here?!?

Venus
>>156836270

Megan Campbell

I dont watch this series but this comment resonated with me so much ,i hope to see you in the comment section for From my goodman cs you spittin

Drake Rage

0:48 lmao, ep 2 comments shoulda helped, but lets try from a different angle: From a story standpoint: The resurrection plant needed to be used.. you know.. cause thats where the Zombie stuff is coming from in this Zombie show... it woulda been dumb to not use it for the King, (who else are they going to use it for, if not for the dead King?)

kai. 🩶

"u a juicy one too" is crazy roshi lmaoooo

WAY

I'm with Roshi. I don't care if there's a cure. Do NOT bring me back with half my face and rib cage gone.

Olive Abum

for the rich selfish people on the boat... WELP KARMA'S A BITCH 😂😂cause if they were trying to preserve human life they woulda NEVER let that old lady bring that heavy ass box anyways--they would of let more people on instead. So, it's the lady's fault for bringing her son AND their own fault for letting people bring all types of useless belongings. Like imagine trying to evacuate lots of people onto a small boat...but then you let people bring all their life possessions to weigh shit down HELL NAH 🤣🤣☠️ anyways, love the reactions

Azzy V

It’s crazy how they still have their senses 😩
