I've seen a theory on Facebook where where Abby could have been right when they said you have to die and when you wake up you are out of the town. After a rewatch of some scenes, and reading their theory in detail I can kind of get behind that being one of the possible theories for the show.

I'm enjoying this show, but idk what it is about the characters that low key irks me. it's either their inability to communicate, them seeming confused/always questioning the ones who are questioning the current situation they're in ( like yeah I know they warned about getting lost in trying to find answers, but it gets to a point...) and then also why does it feel like none of them want to even entertain or try to find a way out lol this must be a part of the "losing hope and settling" kind of storyline or something.

In real life, there is basically no situation where it's recommended to try and shoot someone in the shoulder or leg. They're small targets on somebody moving. He made the decision to put her down before Ellis and more people were put down. Going for a half-measure would be a super high chance of failure, doesn't make any sense. You have to make the decision to shoot to kill if that trigger gets pulled.
