i dont think Cho hak jo is done tho .. remember when the king ate people they diddnt turn. because he was revived with the plant only .. and now they did the same soo the infection hasnt evolved. they only turn because they were fed a dead infected body

Yes they only turned from being bit when normal people ate the dead body, Ahn who bit cha was resurrected with the plant only.

Infected directly from plant = doesn't spread disease through bite. Infected from bite carrying mutated variant (originated at the clinic)= spreads disease in seconds by biting new victims. It's a little confusing, but I looked back through the dialog and confirm! Different transmission rules based on source of infection. This man ain't done.
