Comments

Jamie

Never saw Dexter do I need to know that for this?

Prxj3ct
>>158580632

Not really but it makes for a better experience knowing certain characters that the show doesnt bother to explain because it expects you to of already seen the show

YaBoyRoshi
>>158580632

MASSIVE spoiler from the last season within the first two minutes but other than that not really. There are just characters from the original show here which is cool if you are a big fan.

Danger Tomato

Nah man don't put lupa through that last few awful seasons of dexter just 4 seasons is enough.

JotaroDrake

at least its impossible to go 3 for 3 on awful endings since this a prequel 😭

PayTheRent

Lucas should do a solo reaction to the original after this is done

Prxj3ct

It makes sense now why Harry was so obsessed with Dexter and neglected Deb for most of their childhood, since he's the reason his first son is dead, he wanted to succeed with his second son no matter the cost even with Dexter's murderous tendecies because any normal parent would've probably sent Dexter to a psych institution. His first son dying is probably the only reason he adopted Dexter when he already had a daughter.

Jamie
>>158580632

Never had any reason to watch the original but may aswell watch this along with yous thanks for the reply

vic nic

W lupa for watching

uniquepeanut

Lupa with a hot steaming bullet of a spoiler in the beginning, nigga I was cryinnnnn LMAOO

JotaroDrake

Dexter’s dad always a W actor

Robert Blackett

LOL. True but remember after this, the next one is called Dexter: Resurrection. with Michael C Hall returning

Walter Peavy III

The guy that is younger Angel looks crazy accurate. I thought they put budget deaging him.

Carlos

Why didn't they just get Michael C Hall in a shitty wig like they used to. Smh. Hope this is good after they kinda dropped the ball with later Dexter stuff. Loved those early couple seasons.

JotaroDrake

ima end up rewatching dexter this is so fun to watch

Prxj3ct

40:38 Roshi I love Joe but Dexter would obliterate him, he knows Brazilian Jiu Jutsu and has fought way tougher people, Joe mostly tumbles with women and barely subdues them. When it comes to them being serial killers Dexter also clears, Joe is way too sloppy and 5 different people figure him out each season. Dexter was doing his thing while working in a police station full of detectives and with his #1 hater on his ahh 24/7 for 2 seasons

Anon7524

This was the Dexter revival we wanted when New Blood was first announced. Glad to see they really do care about this IP keeping integrity after last time🙂. Also Lupa's reactions is hilarious to see in 2024 this long after Dexter first showed

Delgado

damn, succession got hoed again

Luke

Petition for yall to rewatch Dexter with Lupa 🙏🏼

LaTesha

Dexter kept the blood of the people he killed in-between plastic casings that you used for studying stuff under the microscope. I Believe thats what he used to keep the blood in season 1

zacharie garondo

Hey my name is Dexter, u must wonder how I got here ? Everything a long time ago…

Zero

will they go 3/3 is the question

Alex

solo reaction with Lupa?.....

Onyekachi Nkenke

So can i watch this without watching the original Dexter?

Liraaa

Is succession dropping today?

PJ Rivera

The actors in this one truly convey their characters. That masuka laugh was on point

Sixaxis112

Quick reminder, they showed this kill in the original Dexter along with the whole Harry in the hospital story.

Ajwidascope

Now all we need is the day of the jackal reaction 🙂‍↕️ yall would love it

Bria A.

I went on a Dexter binge years ago, probably closer to a decade ago, and I genuinely have no idea if I ever made it to the OG series finale… I feel like I did, but I could be lying to myself 😭

Solemnity
>>158584774

Whoever was in charge of casting did as good of a good job as the Dark one did.

Grimm

Dexter such a good show unfortunately its one of those good shows that screwed up the ending but thank god they fixed it years later with another season to actually end it.

User100

Ok I see the vision with this show. It's pretty similar to You. Might have to watch the actual show!

Gwyn

Yo, they got Christian Slater to play young Harry, that's awesome. Ya know what else Christian Slater is amazing in... Mr. Robot.

SnailSpray
>>158592013

uh.. so i did what youre asking rn and they spoil the ending of season 7 at the very beginning but if u dont care it should be fine

Kozmo

I love Dexter and liked the spin-off show a few years ago. This has a similar vibe but I’m not sure it works. It kind of feels like a cheaper version. Would’ve rather they’d just bring back the OG cast and rebooted the show.

Mr. Toxicc

Idk why but I have a feeling Sarah Michelle Gellar will be a Killer in this series lol

Godrick

well sheeet lets get this roshi/sheera dexter rewatch + Lupa Dexter reaction poppin

Garlic

Lowkey want a cameo of the cold vehicle harmer in this.

Gary

why is this nigga roshi so evil. its hilarious

EJ Katt

45:14 Sheera u thought he was bouta grab some of his sister’s cheeks 💀💀

Thomas le

@Roshi, the captain is known for playing Dr. Derek Shepard on Grey's Anatomy!

Subsub537

Fun fact: this isnt the first time we saw the morphine killer. She also appeared in early seasons if dexter

Subsub537

Anyone’s else remember that the morphine killer was also shown in the first Dexter show. Only then it was portrayed a little different

Gwyn
>>158636693

Yeah, I remember Michael C Hall wearing that crazy wig for those flashback scenes.

Gwyn

I wasn't sure about how good this was gonna be, but they nailed it. All the actors playing the younger characters are fantastic, the director on this cooked.

Samke Dladla

Y'all should watch Hannibal.

tari
>>158636693

yea i remembered instantly when i was watching this ep i was like i feel like ive seen this before

Nina
>>158655369

I second this!! Hannibal is literally THE show of all time no cap !!

Derek Sanders

This is a sign to watch Mr robot. Dexter dad is in that show 🙏🏽🙏🏽

Fizzy

Dexter absolutely low diffs joe lol even tho Joe is defo smarter dexter is smart and also a way better combatant

Franklin Saint

Yess Dexter had trophies it was blood slides and if you remember the morphine killer was shown in the original series in the flashbacks but I’m excited for this show and your guys reaction too and for Dexter resurrection next year too

DocGreen

These dudes really disrespecting Dexter like this. Joe can't handle no actual serial killer. I've truck killer trinity would've bodied him.

Fred
>>158696254

fr joe is so confident cause of his intelligence he makes broad daylight kills or emotional choices

prosper

pls watch hannibal or mr robot plsss 🙏🏿

Guns

I never watched Dexter either. I wonder if it was Harry who came up with a code to only kill killers and maybe only do it if the killers are too good to be caught or jailed

Edelweiss

My soul for Hannibal reaction

Dexter Gaba

I wish y’all hadn’t have watched Dark so I can tel y’all to watch it again 😂😭

Dexter Gaba
>>158786890

You’ll learn through the series! Or eventually when you get to the OG series

Delinda Arts

this "You're probably wondering how I got here" ass intro lmao!!!

Jojo_avena

Ahhh a prequel Spoiling sum hot content for the future aight ima be back after binging all of dexter

iibreezy2x
>>158581657

But it’s Dexter and I love how my pfp is actually dexter(I just realized that)

Zay C.

CHAT DO I NEED TO WATCH ORIGINAL BEFORE THIS ??

Fire Cape

Loved dexter and this ep was pretty good tbh and im excited to see the rest of it. Even an average content of dexter is stil worth it ass theres always some good scenes and moments that make it worth it, such an interesting character, one of my fav characters from a show

Fire Cape

That opening was such a good nostalgia trip and pretty cool.

Gwyn
>>159011741

Yeah, if you haven't seen classic Dexter, you're missing out.

Raider

Sister can get it

Mario Carranza

Dr. Rivas is oblivious af. Dexter literally said what happens if you inject this to someone to which he says it could kill over time, and then he tells him how detectable is it. and this man is casually letting him know it's barely detectable.

mal

wait they made a new dexter series?

mal
>>159011741

yea not gonna lie original dexter is peak television you have to see it

Shyheme Pierre

petition for Lupa to watch The Original DEXTER 😂‼️‼️‼️, its a top tier show

Tim Moore

Dexter keeps blood slides of his victims.
