But just to reiterate...the entire conflict was basically "nah, I don't want your billions of dollars. I wanna run the company." Yeeeah. Next season had me rooting for someone who eventually turned out to be dumber/more entitled than I could've ever imagined. Plus all of these characters are so loaded that there are no real stakes. Logan losing just means dude gets an insane payout. Kendall losing just meant him losing his salary but still maintaining his dividend payout from the company and his inheritance. And the end conflict is even more insanely inconsequential.

i’m not saying logan doesn’t love his kids but that moment had nothing to do with that for me. season 2 proves that. in ep 7 when roman wanted to go get kendall cuz he had just did meth and for a second roman waited and stared at logan and waited for his approval to go get him and logan paused and rushed him out to go get him THAT i think is a moment proving he actually cared bc he didn’t want any bad to happen but nothing that we have seen from logan’s character shows that he would ever stop and comfort someone even his own kids unless it was for manipulation. everytime his kids do anything loving he makes fun of them and he only shows that he cares if your close to do or if he needs something so no i don’t believe that he would do that even after his son committed manslaughter

Kendall is a drug addict, emotionally weak, and doesn't have the presence to get things done. As Logan said in the first episode, he reads all the business books and has ideas but he cannot seem to grasp how things work with the sharks. That's not entirely Kendall's fault though. His dad should have helped him and all of the kids more but they have such low self-esteem. I don't think Logan would have really sold Kendall out but he knows Kendall was rattled by it and used it to his advantage. Similar to the vote of no confidence episode, that just fell into Logan's lap and he made it work.

Phenomenal finale. One great scene after another. The writing of the ending scene was off the charts. How the entire season came down to that moment. Absolutely deserved its Emmy for writing. 10/10 show.
