something i learned after watching this episode is that in the english dub, Legoshi's VA struggled to do this episode. even had to take breaks in between, cuz his mother had passed away not long after getting the role

I did not expect that. That is unbelievably tragic for Legoshi holy shit. The realization that he couldve maybe saved his mom's life by turning around and complimenting the scales that she was tortured by.

in the manga the mom’s scales were a lot more pronounced especially on the face she was like glistening all over like the grandpa
