I love the fact that they used a sloth as an example of a cute and “harmless” animal could potentially be lethal in the show. I’ve seen somewhere that although Sloths are slow that they do have a fast reflex with their claws which are long and sharp and could potentially harm anyone if felt endangered. That’s why people who encounter them in the wild usually use in object to help relocate in safe distance compared to zoo Sloth or habitats since they’re domesticated/docile. But I would agree in Beastars sloths are dangerous in certain careers in society like as a tattoo artist the reason would be is that they wouldn’t be able to move or manage pressure with the needle when inking because of how slow and long it would take them, especially with their heavy hands. So yeah the bleeding out and pain customers feel would be accurate.
