Seems like the Nagumo dude in beginning of the epsiode seems about even with sakamoto seeing he's the only hitman that was matching him speed. He also laughed at shin trying to read his mind. He might be a problem. Nagumo gives HunterxHunter vibes for some reason.

When I said in my Dandadan comment that "Sakamoto Days is basically a ripoff of Gintama mixed with John Wick", I expected to maybe upset a few fans. But I never expected Sakamoto to be actually voiced by the voice actor of Gintoki in person LMAO And Lu Xiaotang's intonations....I know it is supposed to sound like the generic Japanese impersonation of a Chinese accent, but I can't unthink of Kagura. I just wait for her to end her sentences by "aru" everytime she speaks lol

I think all art should be allowed to be both praised and critiqued. I don't think it's crap at all. If I was anime-only for this series then I think I'd probably love it. However, I do agree that the directing isn't the best. I would say it's an above-average adaptation. Not at the same level as any of the Mappa projects but that's an unfair expectation.
