Tejiri Ubiedi

Irv putting up wilt numbers from beyond the FUCKING GRAVE LETS GOOOOO

Corey Leach

Hell ya refreshed at the perfect time

Themperor

I'm the first here

YoGar

RAHHHHHH

Damarcus Miller

I’ll be back to watch this after peak leveling, W Roshi getting us these peak reactions 🐐

Jamie

Why roshi 4am why

Jordan

Last episode cliffhanger was so good, I had to watch this episode by myself. Now I get to watch it again with you guys XD

Malinda Samuels

Been waiting all day for this. Love y’all reactions and curious about what you think. Let’s get it.

Ashley

Helly be walking like Annalise Keating lmao

iibreezy2x

Idk if y’all talked about this but what happens when innie mark and outtie mark finally converge how would that affect his feelings towards Jemma. Obv innie mark is just being a jerk but will outtie mark also have feeling towards helly or no?

Kuro

Dental tools to the testing floor…and in Season 1 Milchick says Helly has soft enamel. Man what is going on down there?

JJ

Mark was sexually assaulted by Helena he doesn’t owe Helly a damn thing if he never wants to talk to her again that’s his right

Tejiri Ubiedi

Miss Huang is DEF a homunculus or some test tube shit, broad doesn't know basic grammar 💀

Abcmx

If you really think about it Mark and Helly got assaulted and it definitely feels as he’s trying to cope with the fact that he got sex with a whole different person and the person that is “the enemy” plus that he couldn’t tell it was her. He’s like who the hell did I had sex with? And when she finds out it will be fucked

Tejiri Ubiedi

when helly says "what happened up there" she means when they hit OT, not the ORTBO. Shes THAT far behind

Fred

i’m jacking it’s cloning and recreating consciousness, like cold habor might be brain data being recreated to put into cloned bodies. like downloading kier into a new body so they won’t die

Fred

this is one of the best shows i’ve seen in a while fr fr

Skye Brooklyn

8:04 uhh wdym that’s not how she really feels?? yea she was STARTING to feel SOMETHING with mark specifically but her time down there didn’t completely change how she sees innies and especially after what irving did she absolutely still believes they’re animals who tried to kill her

John Cedar

I think he owes Helly an explanation since she was also basically assaulted by her outie, she's just as much of a victim as Mark. Plus she's got the added problem of being a woman in her 30s that had unprotected sex...she needs to know what happened, for multiple reasons. It's a fucked situation and the very act of severing makes consent a strange question with innie/outie decisions, like the woman in S1 on the news who became pregnant at work through her innie and wasn't given any info about it. Realistically, the only way either of the personalities could have consentual sex is if they communicated about it with each other beforehand, which is of course made nearly impossible by Lumon.

Imari

This show is amazing that line that mark innie said about Irving “He’s not dead he’s just not here” is the same thing his outtie said at the end of the episode about Gemma “She’s not dead she’s just not here”.

Tejiri Ubiedi

I personally read the Milchick Natalie thing as being 100% racially coded.

John Cedar

God we literally have the S1 script memorized trying to connect this dots in this show 😂

PJ Rivera

I love this show ben stiller knows his stuff

mason zeo

yeah that was wild to me too lol. Shes a bad person no two ways about it. She meant that shit

T

Maybe miss Huang is one of the people that don’t ever leave.

bark

'She's not dead she's just not here' - innie mark and outtie Mark both said the same thing lol. Innie Mark said it about Irving and Outtie Mark said it about Gemma

H

Sheera is so smart she always cooks with her takes

Tejiri Ubiedi

wait, yall didnt peep that burt was fired? lol

John Cedar

I wonder if Helly gets pregnant her outie will force her to go through labor only to switch back right as she is about to hold the child or something. And then she just wakes up back at work. She did talk about making her innie suffer and I can see Helena doing something like that, and we already know rich people sever to avoid having to experience labor from S1.

B

I've literally been thinking the same thing!!!

XORA NICO

“Uses too many big words” this nigga said “colloquially”. If Lumon cans Milchik, he can make an absolute fortune over there on the Calm app. “I don’t think you mean it” will rock me straight to sleep

John Cedar

This is the best fucking episode yet for milkshake enjoyers. There has never been a character like this in movies or TV, he's so interesting. Definitely my favorite character along with Helly

RB

The paper had directions to the hallway with the elevator that only goes down, Irv got it when he went to O&D 2 episodes ago from the older lady

Tejiri Ubiedi

milchick isnt severed, so he def understands the racial dynamic, as i assume natalie does

Kuro

Outie Burt made a video announcing his retirement happily to his Innie, so something isn’t adding up but I don’t know who’s lying. Seems weird that Lumon would just tell an employee the truth when firing them, so I think Burt might be in on it…so many different ways to interpret this show

Godroller

how d hell is this kid 18

Samke Dladla

If they can get a fruit head that looks like Irving so quick, that means they have a mould of his face at the ready right?

Mykai Skinner

i think the milkshake and nat thing was definitely “hey that shi was def racist right?”

Saint Nexus

Honestly, I'm also interested in Mark's importance to the company. Cause idk if it went over people's heads, but the guy said Mark will be the one performing coldharbour and that it will be the greatest thing in human history or whatever. Plus the fact that he mentioned that Milcheck got rid of Mark new coworkers for the old ones, which adds the question of why were the others fired, even Helly at first when Mark wasn't? What's special about Mark that no one else can seemingly do it?

Ron H

so helena into some beastiality AND she’s a hypocrite

King of New York

I was thinking the same thing at the beginning of the season (So were Roshi and Sheera I think) but I don't think she could be their daughter unless she was grown in a test tube or some crazy shit. She's way too old.

Zaouli HD

I think innie Mark is starting to get he's outies personality traits. Especially with how he was reacting to grief and trying to end/avoid the various confrontational situations shown throughout this episode.

Corey

I don't trust Bert.

John Cedar

Maybe it's something to do with his sole concentration on Gemma, both in death and knowing she's alive again. And judging by the episode 1 ending, he's probably doing something to her severed brain and she will probably be the first successful attempt at mind repair, erasing a personality, changing the tempers through refinement instead of the old fashioned way like Kier...idk what will happen when Cold Harbor is completed, but it definitely has a something to do with their relationship.

Johnathon

I'm surprised that y'all only just realized they fired Burt because of Irving instead of it being a retirement. I feel like they even indirectly said that prior to this.

Jr

Glad y'all caught "Hang In There" while watching, i've seen some people confused at that part lol

Shiroja

I'm not sure if anyone has made a comment about this but I have a theory that Irving is either talking to/working with either Dylan's wife or someone who is unsevered on the severed floor. This could be a stretch but it's a feeling I got.

Jesse’s finga paintin

9 seconds = 9 core principles which Irving said he knew during the first red ball therapy exercise

Michael Kaiser

Y’all was cooking end discussion crazy ep probably my favorite one yet

Casual

Mark is being a dickhead its actually pissing me off

Casual

I wish i had bro’s voice that shit sounds so dope🗣️🔥

Bad Karma

Yup. He sounded way more sarcastic and rude, which is something Innie Mark isn’t but Outie Mark definitely is.

DJ Muldrow

I think what the show is trying to tell us really is that the innies and outies are one in the same, For example Helena’s rebellious nature and mark being standoffish and somewhat cold, irv and his wittiness.

LJ

"He's/she's not dead, He's/She's just not here"

Delinda Arts

Cinematographer(s) be going insane on every episode jesus😍

Delinda Arts

Milchick: Dylan…..you about to make a nigga use his outside voice..AIGHT?!

Mads Lund

Nah she's way too old to be their daughter. Mark has only been severed for 2 years, so Gemma must have been "dead" for 2 or 3 years

Itanna

People can die at work for a number of different reasons so it’s not surprising they have bereavement kits

LJ

Milkshake really said "So how did you feel about Kier Nigan?"

Landers L

Damn, so Milchick actually was the good guy all along. He was genuinely trying to treat them like people.

HBK 713 🏄🏾‍♂️

Milchick bout to be like man f**k all y'all, f**k this company fuck these goofy ass indies, just like Seth Rollins entrance song Burn all this shit down 🔥 🔥 🔥 🤣😅

Just Shinji

The actor of milchick (I forgot his name) asked Ben stiller (before season 1) if the character knew that he was black, and Ben stiller responded "Yes". So yea milchick does know he is black.

Rayanh LaNansha

I felt that like Mark was as much his outie as he was his innie while he was at work in this episode. It just felt odd to me how cold and detached he was in a way that I would normally associate with outie Mark. Innie Mark is usually kinder and full of compassion. Like wanting to end the funeral “quickly” didn’t sound like him at all. However I also feel like his maturity as an individual might be playing a role in his behavior, like innie Mark would be the equivalent of a rebellious teenager who for the first time, has developed feelings for someone only to be betrayed by that person. So he might not handle that as well as an adult would, which is why I don’t feel like he needs to rush in the whole confessing things to Helly department. I might be overthinking it on this as well, but I did also feel like Irving might be a lot more assimilated with his outie self last episode, especially if you think about how he had flashes of seeing black paint on the walls in season 1. Oppositely, I felt like we were seeing his outie’s military mind in his innie last episode. He could even be working with the woman who integrated Mark and Petey (don’t know how to write her name) so it would make more sense for her to say she’s had practice since Petey.

Rayanh LaNansha

Not just the greatest thing in human history, but “on the PLANET”. It’s almost like he’s revolutionizing something. Or changing something about the human life fundamentally. With one of the common theories being the extension of life after death, I can see how that clicks since his wife supposedly died.

Rayanh LaNansha

A theory I heard is that Milchik got not be so weirded out about working with a child because he’s also been working at Lumon since he was a kid

B23

damn he’s a good actor 😢 got me tearing up at the end there

Abdul-Mal

Nah not the innie Helly shake cam😭😭. She was on crash out mode. I thought miss Huang was about to get jumped.

Fred

the difference between petey and mark’s reintegration works so well cause mark is having the same type of mixed memory visions petey had but not to the severe point of harming himself she really got her technique or timing down

Hollow

Milkshake: "Have you heard of the Cromenockle?"

The DD

Same! Why would he record a retirement farewell message to his innie, if he in fact got fired? Also, Burt said that he "pressed for a reason" and was told it was b/c of his romance. Since WHEN does Milchick explain himself when pressed, OR tell the truth? Burt and 'Fields' are not safe.

Cho

My first thought was they did 9 seconds of silence to honor the 9 core principles

Cam Kaneki

Outtie marks personality was on full display this episode. Dismissive, pessimistic and cynical shit was overriding the hopefulness and positiveness of marks innie. Hoping more innie traits stay and he don’t lose that during reintegration.

Sam

They fired Irv and Dylan, they only got back because of Mark.

Abcmx

Adam Scott said in an interview that if it was about cloning it wouldn’t be so interesting and the piece of TV that is. Cloning is to basic he said

Onyekachi Nkenke

Wait what was Gemma telling Mark at the end. “You’re gonna be…” WHAT DID SHE MEANN??

Cho

I missed Helly’s hard ass walk lmao

Zaouli HD

DJ Muldrow I think you're right there innies might be their personality before some sort of emotional change in their lives. Like with Mark, I think his compassion and care for others are the traits that he had before he lost his wife. When it comes to Helly, Her rebellious nature might be her more youthful self before she fell in line with what her father wanted.

DsWorldd •

Yeah I feel you, when Mark was trying to deflect and suppress everything that happened, instead of talking about it, it’s just like how his outie did the same after Gemma’s death and ended up getting severed instead of processing his grief.

Fred_D3

The only reason the innies give milchick so much sass is coz he’s nice to them, cobel woulda suplexed Dylan for shouting at her in her own office lmao

zacharie garondo

I like how Milchick use the word “fuck” after they told him to stop using big words 😂🤌

zacharie garondo

The beef between Milchick and huang is seasoning !!!🧂

Cam Kaneki

Wait a minute the ending scene "your outtie was going to be" what? a father?

Abdul-Mal

In this timeline, there has to be Lumon middle schools or something. Miss Huang really just out here on work experience!

Cho

Anyone else expecting the Testing Floor Elevator Guy to be Burt's husband?

Cho

Miss Huang complaining about Milchick using big words because she's fucking 8 is hilarious

Ayojii

Im 28 mins in Natalie is also black or mixed so I think Milchik was trying to see if she was feeling similar to how he was when he received the paintings. In that episode when he got the paintings she looked at him like "N*gga DONT say nothing and just accept it."

David Larraga

this show has the best shots in recent TV

XORA NICO

When he said “The Bullshit Gazette”, that felt like a Mark Scout dig. You might be cooking

Frank Decker

In the question of dental tools, they totally could be used for teeth. 1) it's implied that lumon has a huge budget and capital. I'm positive they won't need to get dental tools to use for something else when they can get a specialized tool for whatever they need. 2) with that assumption, let's say that the dental tools are used for dental purposes. Why would they need dental tools? 3) In episode 2 of this season, mark speaks with his sister at the restaurant about Gemma. Marks positive that Gemma can't be alive? How because he says he "saw the body". But... 4) What if he didn't see "her body". what if Lumon replaced the body with another one (from the morgue), burnt or mutilated the decoy body enough to remove facial recognition out of the picture, gave this decoy body defining feature of Gemma (like her wedding ring, or the clothes she was wearing during the accident, etc) , and then finally, what if Lumon removed Gemma's teeth (or at least a few teeth) and then placed those teeth in the decoys teeth, fooling law enforcement or any body of power related to think that it was Gemma. That could explain why they need dental tools. Because they have a WHOLE operation where they kidnap living people to experiment on, but need to find a way safely and consistently fake those people's death. Teeth is one of the main way to identify bodies when other means of identification is impossible (i.e face or fingerprint identification). My only contention with this theory is that Reghabi made a point to say that Lumon has connections with the morgue. And couldn't the morgue just tell people(loved one, outside officials) the teeth are Gemma's without having to insert them onto the decoy's body? The only logical counter to this would be 1) Lumon doesn't have FULL control over the morgue. So they have to cover their grounds, just in case 3rd parties tries to confirm the teeth themselves somehow. 2) continuing from point 1, they probably do this a lot, so it makes sense for Lumon to cover all their grounds to make sure they don't get caught, even if it's redundant.

windyMelon

Yeah I mean, in a way, Mark wasn't exactly consenting to fucking Helena. He wanted to fuck Helly, not Helena. You can understand why feels destroyed and a little taken advantage of

windyMelon

"Scrapin' Brains" should be the name of this episode

Warif Elobaid

This show has been giving me Get Out vibes, moreso after every episode. The way Miss Huang skill-checks Milchick and speaks about innies, is she severed/body swapped? Mark being assigned to Cold Harbor and seeing Gemma’s face in all the numbers has me thinking “Macro-data Refinement” is just erasing people’s brains to make empty shells of their bodies. I think we’re going to see bodies in the exports hall. It’s all so weird that they see innies as less than people, but will still jump through hoops for MDR’s work. Mark literally fucked Helena Eagan and Milchick knew about it. They would let them explore around the building and other departments, they let them revolt and push boundaries of the company - but fired Burt for co-worker relations? That doesn’t makes sense

Ren Lichtfoot

If I know one thing, it's "Beard Daddy needs to talk to me niceeeeeeee" XD (jk I don't even like guys - man his voice is so good).

2A2

Also, if I'm not mistaken, in some of the extra reading material they released last season, they mention Lumon used to make toothpaste and other personal hygiene items/medicine. Or at least something along those lines.

Sekraan

Or, in keeping with Occam's Razor, a simpler explanation: the full-time innies like Gemma still need basic healthcare, and it's suspicious for Lumon to be ordering dental supplies and the like, so they simply make everything they need to provide such services in-house.

2A2

I noticed that when innie Mark was leaving the bereavement party early, he mentioned how he wasn't really impacted by Irving's loss because he wasn't ~dead~, he just viewed him as "not here". He also mentioned this about Gemma when in the basement with Reghabi after looking at her ashes. Also, I was starting to wonder if somehow, based on innie Irving imagining the paint from his outtie's messages bleeding into his innie's life and him experiencing this while "falling asleep" last season, if outtie Irving was somehow trying to jumpstart a "natural" reintegration? If he's not working with Reghabi, but is working with someone who has similar reintegration goals, maybe he doesn't know about the process she's tried with Petey and now Mark, so they came up with this method on their own? Using the repetitiveness of painting the same thing until he "got the message" to me was similar to how Mark and Devon were trying to burn messages into his vision for the innie Mark to see, before getting the help of Reghabi. IDK if this can even be placed high on a theories list, but now I'm going to be thinking about it while I watch.

Rayanh LaNansha

There being another team that does things differently would definitely give us something more to look forward to, especially if it becomes a bigger plot point in season 3.

Caleb Gaming9099

I’m 100% sure milchick was hinting at the fact that they may both have been being treated differently cause there both black, especially due to the fact he also mentioned the paintings subtle racism and the note were just directions that Irving gave Dylan. I actually didn’t notice before this episode, but milchick has Bern treating them kinder than normal, so that peformance review is gonna make him lock in and stop treating them like people

Hunter

I don't think they picked up on the fact that Milthicc Milkshake gave Mark and the team a, "You guys did that and months passed and now you're back." Now, Burt is saying that Irving knocked on Burt and Fields' door just a couple weeks prior.

Ren Lichtfoot

So, theory time. I think those pictures are backhanded methods to manipulate people. Milchek looked at it weird because it reminded him of the paintings used to cause discord between the other departments. He probably started to wonder, why would I need this? Like Colbell, I think he's starting to realize that he's been severed too.

Kisuke01

Big Milchick in the house

Bria A.

I know they're ostensibly dental tools but I'm ngl my absolute first thought was lobotomy. 😭 (They could also be pulling/modifying teeth if they really are making clones down there...)

I_Do_Editz _And_Stuff

idk if yall caught it but when irving was on the phone he said " I think they know what my innie was up to" outie irving and innie irving are clearly ALREADY working together. Now the big question is how long that has been going on. Irv and his innie definitely have a stronger connection than anyone else on the show. ALSO irving left dylan directions to the elevator meaning he's seen it or at least knows where it is. pretty sure its already known but irv is CRUTIAL to taking down lumon. I don't think he even needs to be reintegrated he was showing signs of tht before WE knew what it was (His painting leaking through while he's at work) AND we STILL DON'T KNOW why irv even wanted to be severed. Sorry 4 the yapping but this show and its mysteries get me excited, haven't had tht feeling with a show since AOT lol

Manny

Agree with everything you're saying and facts, definitely gives me AOT vibes 😭 I think they may have alluded to him having PTSD from the military but I may have just made that up lmao

David Sacks

1) I read that at some point in season 1 Tramell Tillman asked Ben Stiller if Milchick knew he was black (or if race existed in the same way in the reality of the show). Apparently that question influenced a lot of the writing and direction in Season 2. Just a great example of the actor bringing something huge to the storytelling. 2) I think they ARE dental tools. They've got a bunch of "turned off" people down there that need regular maintenance.

Shangar

I was curious about the number of quarters at the funeral and did the math. Lumon was founded in 1865 and has been around for 220.5 years, meaning the show takes place in 2085, assuming the quarters are actually comparative to fiscal quarters and aren't completely arbitrary.
