Nitric acid isn't the cure but a main ingredient to a formula only Senku and Tsukasa fully know in early season 1. Because Stanley's men knew to stay conscious they were easier to wake up with light nitric acid like how Senku and Taiju woke up easily

It showed that Xeno's project got canceled, presumably due to it not being weapons focused. Eventually he got bitter over that and just swapped to the Science is Power motto.

Not sure if you missed it, but in the middle of that montage when senku was messing with the rocket car, they showed Xeno working on a project that got rejected. I'm guessing it's that rejection that somewhat altered xeno a bit. Also to answer your question about the revival fluid, nitric acid alone was only acidic enough to de-petrify people who were already conscious for those 3700 years. The revival fluid is a more refined version of nitric acid that's able to instantly revive people and senku is able to mass produce it because he was able to get the platinum that his father stored away on that island they traveled to last season.

They left the nitric acid caves in the US behind when he went for the yellow dent. Plus they don't have the full revival fluid, just the nitric acid and that takes forever to bring people back, and only if they kept their mind active.

So from what I remember and I could be wrong, but Xeno doesn't know how to make the actual revival fluid. He knows nitric acid can help if you keep your mind active but that by itself is a slow process. So he doesn't have a lot of manpower because the process with just nitric acid takes way to long. That's what I'm remembering at least.

Project Helium 3 that Xeno was working on is mostly likely I'm guessing harvesting Helium 3 off of the moon as an alternative energy source. He-3 is basically in simplest ways to explain a replacement to nuclear energy without any of the radiation as a byproduct, since it's byproducts in fission is just hydrogen, which we can additionally use for other things too. He-3 is scarce on the earth but there's a lot on the moon.

I think the main reason why he doesn't have more people is that red tape caused things to move slowly to gather the people they currently have took them time which they thought they had more of but the press was prob to get more support than he would've gotten anything he needed and with senku they could have solved it but the medusa just came and no one saw it coming till it was too late and just like veldora had time to ponder and top being evil, xeno here had time to ponder that if they had taken him seriously the 1st time they could have a plan and america would have become ruler of the world

when xeno and senku where talking through the radio xeno didnt know about a revivel formula, so he doesnt know that you need to mix it with alcohol to wake people up who haven't being awake for thousands of years. he just knows that if someone was awake for all that time nitric acid will wake them up.

nitric acid and revival fluid are different, I believe nitric acid is a component of the revival fluid and can revive you if you had kept your mind conscience, but for those who didn't keep themselves conscience, you would need revival fluid which is made with nitric acid and alcohol, which dr xeno doesn't know about.

@4:07 -- I'm not sure why, but Senku's age was given as both 7 and 10. I'm not sure if this was a mistake by the anime, or if Senku made a translation error in his email to NASA (which he wrote while using a Japanese to English dictionary), so I don't know which age is correct... but I'm guessing 10. @1:30 -- The episode says "Senku Ishigami" is "Age: 10" @3:03 -- The email Senku sent to NASA reads: "Hi, my name's Senku. I'm 7 years old, from Japan. Please see attached file."

Additionally, Xeno’s monologue involved him stating with certainty that every single scientist would inevitably come to his current location. This is because every scientist in the world is aware of that specific spot in the US where an infinite supply of nitric acid can be produced. Essentially, he understands that the scientist who gains control over that region ultimately controls the world. And he also knows that scientists from back then would be waking up at random years. So he made guns instantly to protect his current spot from all and every single scientist coming to claim it. Attacks coming in till the end of time, till the last scientist wakes up that had the ability to stay conscious for thousands of years. So as formidable as him. That’s why it was on sight. Yall missed the whole monologue of the last scene that pieced together exactly why he is the way he is

Not sure if you guys missed it, but they showed that Xeno's project proposal got rejected. It's probably safe to assume that Xeno's project proposal was normal scientific stuff and that was probably why they rejected his proposal for not being "useful". Xeno started losing it when his work and dedication kept getting denied, so this probably drove him down a spiral of believing science is only good for power, hence "science is power". Because he realized what people actually want isn't fun science stuff or better living conditions, but instead use it to build weapons and military-related stuff. Honestly, that's probably how he met the military guy and why he was even involved with them in the first place.

They did wake up from the stone at the same time, it’s just showing how much more advanced Xeno made things compared to Senku. Really love the connection between these two, made this arc even more exciting

They couldn't wake other people up because they don't know the revival fluid. They don't know the exact formula. They are under the impression that you need to still be awake for the nitric acid to work alone and over a long long time

Xeno said they were at Pinnacles National Park, which is in California (a little over 100 miles SE of the SF Bay Area) so they did not travel across the country, they just had to go about 200 miles north to get to the corn.

Nitric acid only works on people who stayed awake, you need the revival fluid to wake up anyone. The revival fluid isn’t just made out of nitric acid it’s processed into it.
