She is never cognizant of his feelings whether it was proposing an open relationship on their wedding night after she had already been having an affair, inviting said side piece to their wedding without even informing Tom of their prior and current relationship, throwing him under the bus after the hearings, bossing him around to do her dirty with ex. telling Logan to not go after Pierce and telling Ravenhead to ramp up the negative rhetoric about the President and so on.

In fairness to Greg, the reason he didn't burn the paperwork is because he needed insurance to make sure he wasn't gonna get fucked and take the fall by himself for illegally destroying the documents. He made it pretty clear to Tom, "You better make sure I don't get screwed on this, or I will take you down with me." He is shady as shit, but I think a lot of it is because he knows his extended family are all ruthless snakes, and he knows they all view him as a gullible dipshit, so he's trying to protect himself.

The only reason why Shiv is looped out is because, unlike Roman or ken, she tends to act independently and out of her own interests. It is clear that she was spoiled the most. He does have a soft spot for her but she was the most problematic in season 2.

Sheera saying Shiv couldn't relate to Tom going to jail like Greg because she didn't think it would happen, doesn't make sense. Like Shiv is the most experienced interms of political matters and she is smart. The fact is she was ignoring his problems. Naaaah I think Roman was on to something just a bit. While Shiv wasn't hammering for Tom to go tom Prison, there was still a good possibility, and I believe she recognized that. I think that deep down it wouldn't have really mattered to her. Yes, she told her father not to throw Tom to the wolves, but then Tom later insisted on becoming the Christmas tree. I think that Shiv doesn't like being the one at fault. If her or any of her family had something to do with fucking over Tom, she would 've felt bad because she already fucked over Tom. But to be clear, there is a difference between actually caring and not wanting to be the bad guy, like there's a difference between feeling bad for doing something and feeling bad because you got caught.

Greg has been fighting back since he copied the papers. This isn’t nearly as one sided as it used to be. They aren’t equals but Season 1 Greg wouldn’t tell Tom that Shiv was “out of his league” or use the papers as leverage to further his career independent of Tom.

even though ken was on drugs it has nothing to do with why he crashes out. Hes been deppressed ever since his wife left him, he's still suicidal after the car incident in s1. His addiction influences his actions yes, but he always relapses when he knows the consequences of his own actions are coming to him.
