Nitpicking about last episode, but I’m confused as to why Peter didn’t wait for the next train; it’s a metro, I heard that transit in the US is trash, but the New York metro would still have another train in 2 to 5 minutes no? Especially if it’s school hours? And there’s no traffic? The writers didn’t put much to it I guess, but it just seemed odd that the reason Peter would be late because he missed the literal frequent rapid transit, and not because of an outage or something else.

Public transportation is so fucking bad in the US, even in Chicago or NY, the trains can be 20+ min late at any time of day. Buses too. The only time I've seen anything halfway decent was in the richest parts of mid size cities, like Sacramento. Actual good public transit was purposefully sabotaged and neutered by lobbying efforts of car companies like Ford and Chevrolet in the early 20th century. It changed the way cities were planned and modernized, to primarily serve cars. But of course, it only became apparent that was a really fucking dumb decision once the population started exploding.

Not sure what's up with Lupa lately. Between the two episodes of this show and the Invincible finale, it seems like if the hero doesn't one-shot the villain immediately he gets really upset. Maybe it's because of all the power fantasy anime they've been watching, but the hero is supposed to struggle for the story to be compelling. That's how it's always been. This isn't a complaint, just an observation.

Plus we have SO MANY adaptations of Spiderman between comics, games, shows, movies, etc that I'm ok with them remixing stuff to keep it fresh.
