Yeah I stopped at The museum episode, couldn’t take anymore lol I literally said I’ll just wait til episode 11 to see what others felt about the show. So far I guess I’m one of the few who’s not feeling it like that.

Lupa tryna explain Sakamoto "not murder" tactics is fucking hilarious. I don't get the hate for this show, it honestly reminds me of Spy x Family. I don't think it's something you take completely serious. I enjoyed it for sure.

The look roshi gave him when he said that 🤣 Also the hate isn’t really for the show itself its more so for the art and animation quality. The manga has amazing art and super dynamic action and all of that is completely lost in this adaptation. The show is fine in a vacuum but knowing how much worse it is than the manga will piss you off too.

The issue is that for folks who have read the manga and talk about the show, we highlight the action more than anything else. The pacing in the manga was pretty bad before the real story picked up but 11 weeks is almost 3 months to not even really strike at the true tone of the show. It's still good, but not "Sakamoto Days is one of the best action manga ever put to pen" good. And that's not even talking about the animation

This show is really like Gintama. The beginning of that show seems slow, no stakes, lot of comedy with some action but when the most action packed serious arcs come, it hit hard and you start even missing the old days when everyone was happy and well
