Talk about a show were both love interest are likeable. Usually in anime there's one that is over like than the other one. In this case both are liked the same. No true winner. As a manga reader I hope it's not a 2+ year wait for season 2 cause it just gets better since there's more character development later on.

Thank goodness we are ripping this bandaid off now. Hina thought she was ahead in the race and Taiki let her know she hadn't even put her shoes on yet lol. It's really unfortunate because the kind of feelings Hina has towards someone who is pursuing someone else is really rough. I can't fault her for shooting her shot, it just sucks she was complacent with that stillness, which would be completely unhealthy for herself and Taiki. I often find myself rooting for characters like her usually because they're more interesting than the destined girl, but it's difficult because both Cinatsu and Hina are both good characters. Taiki gets a big fucking W for how he handled this compared to alot of MCs in this situation.
