I’m on the opposite side of the experience from you guys: I watched this movie in theaters, but not the others 😅 Also, regarding “Bologna Smash”: just like “Manchester Smash” that’s based in the USA, that’s actually a place in Italy, like the Heroes mentioned were a villainous European organization. The “Dark Might” guy just named it based on European cities/places…! As funny as it would be names after a sandwich, it does make sense why the villain named it that.

This movie was pretty dope. Correct me of I'm wrong but this should have taken place when Shigaraki/all for one was recovering from his fight with Stars and Stripes which is why he's out of the picture. I also do remember seeing the butler guy make a minor appearance in the anime in a montage moment flashing between all the movie characters during some speech.

So for anyone still confused as to when this takes place, it's after Deku comes back to UA and they find out Aoyama is the traitor, but like a week or 2 before the final war. Also, Anna and Giulio do appear in the anime along side all the other movie characters from the other 3 movies

Imo All Might is the Main Character of MHA. The show boils down to why he chose to be a hero (flashback with Nana Shimura), how he became the best hero ( Movie 1), he was the best hero (pre S1 - S2), how he retires (Season 3), what happens during his retirement (late S4, S5, S6) why he chose to come out of retirement (Melissa Shields from Movie 1, Late S6), and how even quirkless and in his late 50s he continues to be the goat (Late S7).
