I think he maybe returning considering in the comics in 2016 he has an ability that can draw out people’s blood in their body almost similar to blood bending. Notice how he did that to heather while sitting on the chair.

I get being underwhelmed at Muse (i am too) but it kinndaaa makes more sense when you remember this 1st season is a patchwork of shit that this show was originally gonna be and then the new shit. Final two eps are apparently all the new shit (same as ep 1) and S2 and beyond is all the new shit as well. So this stuff with Muse is probably the last thing from the original ideas that were leftover and they wanted to/had to wrap it up this ep. I think, given that "excuse" (if you wanna call it that), it was ok.

Nah not mutant he was an inhuman, but same end result. He had superhuman strength and agility but his main power was that he could evade human senses. He was essentially a void for daredevil's radar sense which made him a perfect counter.

I think he's dead but I bet there will be copycats of his in the future. So while this guy might be dead the legend of MUSE will never die. Which kinda makes more sense. I think i even heard season two has 'muse' credited but I'm not certain so take that with a grain of salt.

I like her character, want to see more depth with her though for sure. I think she knows Matt is DD and just isn’t saying anything. I’m sure by next season I’ll grow to appreciate what they do with her now that all this is happening

Editing was terrible during that fight ima keep it a buck. But thank god that’s the last of the old footage from the previous crew. Loved Heather this episode and can’t wait for the last 2 post overhaul episodes. And I got a BIG feeling that Muse is just getting started, iykyk

Few things. Dr. Glenn hadn't been seeing Muse as a patient before this. The reason he kept saying that she "helped" him was because of her books on vigilantes and their personas (They even met at her book signing). For Muse, in the comics he was more brutal but also has superpowers. He was an inhuman so he had super strength and agility but also had a power that allowed him to evade other people's senses. This made him a perfect counter for Daredevil since he acted like a black hole for his radar sense. Basically, Disney didn't have the movie rights to the X-men and mutants at the time (Fox still had them) so between 2013-2018 they tried really hard to replace mutants with inhumans in comics and other media (Because they had full rights to them). That's why Ms. Marvel and Muse (who were both invented during that time-frame) were inhumans and not mutants. In 2019 they got the rights back so they pretty much immediately ditched the inhumans because no one really liked them that much and the X-Men were way more popular. That's why when they introduced Ms. Marvel in the MCU they didn't even bother going through the whole inhuman thing and just made her a mutant (They then made her a mutant in the comics to line up with the MCU). I think they should have done this with Muse too. I get not wanting to make him an inhuman but they should have just made him a mutant and given him his comic powers. It would have made him stand out more as a unique villain rather than just being a psycho artist who knows taekwondo. I think he may be returning in S2 but if he doesn't then I definitely think they could have done his storyline way better. He was hinted since Ep 1 but we honestly were just starting to get into his story.

If he's actually dead then yeah I agree. He was an inhuman but they could have made him a mutant like they did with Ms. Marvel and given him his comic powers. It would have made him way more unique against Daredevil rather than just being a psycho artist who can fight. He was built up for 6 episodes and we were just starting to get into his story. Hoping he's not dead but if he is then that's a bit disappointing.

I was wondering something similar I really think it’s gonna be a fake out death. Idk how but to me it seemed very anticlimactic and rushed if this is where they ended his story line. This also would have made sense given they kept referencing how he was evading everyone and everything for so long. That would have been a great way to introduce his abilities. Hopefully we get more I thought Muses actor was great and would like to see more of it for the points you laid out too.

A whole lot of people online believe that Muse isn’t dead and theres some confirmation that he’ll be back in season 2. If Foggy and Muse are said to be back in season 2, I dont think they’re going to go the flashback route with multiple characters so Im inclined to believe that Muse isn’t really dead or died but will be revived as a mutant/inhuman.
