Also to comment about the resurrection medicine - Maomao isn't interested in medicine, herbs, drugs etc just so she can use them for a specific existing reason, she just wants the knowledge. So even if she doesn't have a reason for using the resurrection medicine if she learned to make it, she would still thirst that knowledge. It's a very smart way of luring her out, although majority of the reason was the threat towards Shisui.

Um, Lakan did indeed marry Maomao's mother, Fengxian, the go player. She's not dead yet. Lakan is still enjoying some time with her.

Resurrection medicine doesn't bring people back from the dead, it makes you appear dead for a short time, then you come back.

Krype

It was so obvious it was her I can’t believe she got back in so easily they need better security up in this joint

Nelle

Roshi consider VINCENZO or THE PENTHOUSE to react to please. Both action and drama packed shows. No boring episodes.

Maomao's obsession with the resurrection potion isn't for any practical purpose, she just loves shit like that. We see in season 1 when Maomao finds that Suirei escaped she commented that she wants to meet her so Suirei can teach her how to make it, then burst out into her evil cackle. If Maomao starts acting weird then like 90% of the time you can just assume it's because she's weird.

No disguise or nothing. Just wore some male clothes and walked in, and no-one knew a thing

Silver changes color if it comes into contact with arsenic. This lead people for a long time to think it would react to any posion.

Dyastro

Yeah silver dinning ware was very often used among royalty. The chemical component of silver reacts to many different "poisons" like arsenic (I think). Rhino tusks and "unicorn" (narwhal) tusks also were a good way to sus out harmful chemicals

CloudySky

I don’t understand anything in this show anymore lol

Sean Anderson

things are converging and all the hints we been fed since S1 are coming ahead it seems

Justin

SonOfMan

Krype

It’s so obvious she’s Loulan

Kisuke01

Man I love this show that chick needs to be clapped leave MaoMao and Shusui alone 😭

DopefIamingo

Lakan married Maomao’s mother at the end of season 1

ShaquanVirse

what made y'all think she died? She's still alive lol stop tryna kill her

Manchester United

brother, Lakan is Maomao's father and his wife is Maomao's mother. She is not dead, she just doesnt have much time left. Also I think Maomao wanting to learn how to make ressurection potion is essentially just a scientist's obsession.
