My only gripe is the switch up at the end, why would the girl even think it’s possible for him to have done it? She was with him FIVE seconds ago, he was happy, and he loves his father figure. She was being rational the whole episode so either someone lied to her at the end or they just want the viewer to dislike her ASAP

It’s really good, has a great power system, the main character is a great compelling character with his own mysteries surrounding him.the side characters are all good too and all of them get their times to shine. And there’s plenty of mysteries too surrounding the world!

This was a solid episode. It wasn't mind blowing fantastic but we've established at the least what kind of person the main character is and what kind of world it is and the animation looks very nice. Hopefully it stays strong

Same. I hope the quallity stays consistent mainly because this is gonna be 24 ep and it happens ususally in the 2nd half where the qullity is getting worst.. I hope it doesn't happen. Not sure how long os this show has been in the works for Bones so let's see.

I'm saying the manga is, irrelevant bc it's not the story that bothers me but how it is shown in the anime. Which is why the manga is the follow up alternative. Blue lock s2, tbate, solo leveling, Tokyo Ghoul, one piece tc are all cool stories that work better with/as the manga even though the story is the same. The source material can be good but have a boring/bad adaptation. They can hit storywise but whether they hit with the music/animation/pacing/exposition/translation/censoring etc is another question. Adaptions often leave stuff out/add things or rearrange things etc There's no way to say whether the anime will hit until the episodes are out. The quality of the manga doesn't matter in this context.

This was really fire. I read the first volume of the manga last summer. It was alright, the power system was the thing I found most cool. For some reason I love the anime a LOT more already. Glad that the anime has 24 episodes, it's so much better for getting to know the characters and world more. Curious to see how this show distinguishes itself from other shounen.
