I feel like Shizuka was supposed to die for real, because the way she's acting now is not good tbh. I feel like she has to die at the end of this show, idk if Takopi's gonna kill her or not, but that's my prediction. This whole town is full of crashouts. The only one who seems to be living carefree is that kid's big brother 🤣 I would be jealous of him too. Dude stole everyone's happiness in that town it seems. He gets good grades, mom actually likes him, has a gf, gets a nice allowance and making extra money from a whole job 🤣

I don't think that she HAS to die, just like Marina didn't HAVE to die. But it's more about the root problems that stem from having such a troubled home, Marina with her abusive mother and absent father and Shizuka with no parents to speak of, her mother just shows up to feed her sometimes. It creates monsters, Marina who is abusive to Shizuka, and Shizuka who can't heal because of what Marina's doing is ONLY ever going to relish Marina going away, even if that means killing her. They're two types of monsters.
