I can't believe it took me 3 rewatches to get this, but... When the celebrity lady was saying the catchphrase "Soup for sale, soup!" I realized now what they were referencing. Like idk if there's a real life reference, but as for within the context of the show..... They once showed a shot of a sad movie (I think when artist man's mother was watching? Or was it on a tv?) Where a young girl was going around trying to sell rice cakes in the cold winter night. Always saying "rice cakes for sale, rice cakes!" Fast forward, we see eun myeon? (Ae sun's 1st son) going around in the dead winter night.....selling rice cakes......and saying the catchphrase "rice cakes for sale! Rice cakes!" So if I'm correct, the celebrity lady was the actress for young girl wayyy back. At least in the universe of this show. What a interesting way to connect events, if I'm right!
