It's funnier tho his beef is specifically with Uber drivers. Not Lyft or any other fictional service, Uber/UrCar. Also, maybe there's missing context or I just didn't hear it, he's upset specifically because his father lost his lively hood spending all that money on a medallion just to be out of a job but the Dark Passenger is like the same age as Dexter (~50) while UrCar/Uber would only really be a thing of the past 10 or so years.

Yeah sometimes investigators are territorial with their work so that’s some else beat not theirs. Especially if it’s in a different boroughs/counties. Short of there being a clear cross over in evidence or such.

Definitely. But he also does say something vague about when he was younger so it could easily be his motivation is beyond the ride sharing apps. Could just be UrCar is a scapegoat for what really sets him off. I hope they'll go deeper into his past to screw up Dexter filling in his shoes.
