Life advice for people in the situation of a landlord not fixing necessities, like the mom, since shows seem to always advise/suggest that stopping paying rent is a viable option: You do still have to pay rent despite them not fixing the issue, but you can usually pay it to a REA (Rent Escrow Account) you set up instead, which the landlord can only have access to after addressing the problems. Especially if they try to evict to you in court as it will fail very hard. Just a heads up to people since a lot don't know this is the best way to protest the landlord properly without fear of eviction in the US; just make sure to check your lease first to see if the issue you're needing fixed is supposed to be covered, send at least two notices to the landlord first of this change to double notify for records, and a receipt for each deposit into the REA each month so they already have copies and proof.

Chances the final season of this deals with Harrison becoming the MC after Dexter dies, about 700/1000 Edit: Found out it was pitched for 3 seasons with room for more, instead of just multiple seasons like I thought, so the chance for my theory is probably closer to 400/1000 now. Can't really see them killing Dexter in just 2 seasons tbh with the 3rd being Harrison MC, so maybe in 3 seasons and if they continue after, Dexter would be a ghost

I somewhat see Batista as Lundy and Dexter as Trinity this season. Mostly because Lundy like Batista retired to try and solve a case that’s been bothering him through his career and is willing to go the distance to do so. Only difference is Batista obviously already knows what Dexter looks like whereas Lundy didn’t for Trinity. So perhaps in similar fashion Harrison will kill Batista at some point?? I also almost sorta want to compare the Gemini killer Twins to what Dexter and Brian would’ve became had Dexter joined Brian instead of ending him during season 1 though that’s maybe a stretch.

The nurse was pretty strict on the visiting hours stuff. I doubt they would've let him linger around. Though he probably should have spent the night in his car in the parking lot or something, but Dexter could have slipped by that the same way.

After watching the 4th, 5th and 6th episode again it makes me wonder if perhaps Leon Prater (or someone else heck maybe they even see a picture on TV because of Batista) will discover Dexter is actually the bay harbor butcher and will try to make a deal that he will give him confirmed serial killers to delete however in return all he wants is their trophies for his collection? Probably won’t happen and fair enough but it just was floating around in my mind🤷‍♂️.

I intended it in the way of Prater would ask for the trophies of the killers he’d give Dexter and Dexter could keep the slides(until he wanted them and tries to have dexter offed). However, I agree it more than likely will not or ever happen at all. It was just a thought that floated by and figured I’d share.🤷‍♂️
