also the coffee scene with dushane was to show gentrification happening in summerhouse a small call back to how they showed last season the estate agents raising rent to local shop owners. They show also how much smaller the market is. Not as many stalls and just empty spots

roshi's pov, having no idea this shows full of uk MCs/actors since S1. what a fresh perspective to have on this show, this is part of why - for the UK subs, esp my black ones - i have a love/hate relationship with this series. feels like barely anyone outside of micheala coel is willing to put that much effort into black uk storytelling that isnt just another roadman story that weve seen going back to Bullet-Boy days, also starring Ash lol. i like supacell, but im more just rooting for it so we can get more black uk stories that have nothing to do with crime but have TB's high level of writing. black uk subs, thoughts?

idk if you realised, but the reason dushane looks so lost when he comes back is because his whole area has changed. (gentrified) if you remember back in top boy summerhouse they were kicking out ra'nells mum from their shop, and gems dad from his shop. the whole area is now filled with bougie expensive shops like the coffee shop dushane went in.
