okay so the end there was too much theorizing going on and Im sure it turned something straightforward into something confusing lmao. Can anyone confirm? If not spoilers of course

Jason Marbach

Has any crash out ever been more deserved or more hype? LFG, Bix

Tejiri Ubiedi

My beautiful south asian boo thang NOOOOOOOOO

Carlos

Skipped ahead to the theorizing and yeah y'all definitely overthinking things. Cinta was an unfortunate accident because dumb shit brought a weapon he shouldn't have.

Tejiri Ubiedi

Surely, 3 eps next week to keep with the arcs....... sssuuuurrreeelllyyyyy......

Carlos

Lezine (buddy who was walking through) wasn't a plant, dude was just trying to get home and this young shit is getting in his face about it. They scuffle. The gun goes off. Shit happens. And old girl Drina really did just leave her post because they're all a bunch of incompetent morons. The coincidental timing of Vel and Cinta's conversation is just a byproduct of this season being like 4 seasons crushed into one.

Tejiri Ubiedi

Yeah true, thats a good end point for a week too

Sam

yeah

Sam

As many have said but the next 3 episodes deserve to be watched together in 1 week! I know yall are busy with other shows but trust.

AnnaSama

Lol. Luthen was just checking up on Bix. Why would he kill her? Ya'll get onto some random BS sometimes.

Austin Police

The old man came out to see what was going on, the young man pulled a gun on him (which rightfully pissed him off) went to grab the gun after being threatened and the young man pulled the trigger which killed Cintra. Him picking her up was literally just him helping them by carrying her to the transport. Lupa don't be so mean to the old man he's a cool guy :(

namnas

Cinta's death was an accident cause by the kid not listening (they were told no blasters). Cassian and Bix killing Gorst was a dual purpose mission given by Luthen in order to; 1. Get rid of Gorst; 2. Give Bix the vlosure she needed so she get move on and get right

sol jam

just so you're aware the next two episodes are considered some of the best in history of holywood

Desert Penguin

Fuck you for saying that in a comment. Thanks for spoiling me as I scroll through...

Jason Marbach

Lupa’s right at the end, Luthen wasn’t trying to get anyone clapped, it’s just real dangerous work. What Lupa said (“if it works, cool, if it burns, cool”) is spot on. Luthen isn’t gonna get either one of Cinta or Vel clapped unless he absolutely has to, the two of them are some of his best

Tejiri Ubiedi

bruh lupa got COOKED by that reveal lol

Jacob Livingston

CANNOT WAIT FOR THESE NEXT 2 eps. The last half of this season is some of the best television ever

Jacob Livingston

So fucking satisfying. One of my favorite scenes

Jason Marbach

Broheme, if you’re scrolling through the comments of an ep you haven’t watched yet, that’s on you

Calem

Syril does not know Cinta and Vel. Luthen doesn't necessarily want Ghorman to fail but he does want them involved in the rebellion. Luthen had nothing to do with Cinta being shot, he doesn't mind people dying for the rebellion but he wouldn't go that far. Luthen is not a straight up villain.

Tejiri Ubiedi

nah he wasnt planted, he just happened to show up. the whole point from the Empire point of view was for it to go well, so the Ghormans would get bold. They wouldnt want anything to go wrong.

Jacob Livingston

Luthen did not plant that guy there lol. Way over thinking it. The guy there was in the scene at the first big meeting syril met them at. Luthen isn’t purposely trying to get any of them killed. He’s of the mindset whatever has to happen for the rebellion succeed is necessary.

Requiem_Phantom

Good theories and discussion at the end. Just a reminder, this show although it gives a lot of pieces where you can put some things together. It also leaves a lot up to interpretation, which you'll so more and more. Not everything is given clear-cut full information on every event, so you can somewhat decide yourself what you think truly happened. For example, Mon Mothma's friend, that Luthen ordered to get clapped a few eps back. We never see it happen, but they allude to it. But how did it happen? Not only that, in this episode if you didn't catch it, but when the two women are talking at the diner table, the one who flew off with Mon's friend says she was injured on a mission a year ago which would align with that event, so her assassination could have had complications. It's things like that, this show does quite often of giving you lots of snippets and pieces without giving the whole story. Not always, but often.

ccadalin

Rest of the season is peak just a 6 piece banger

Narluga

not dissing but all i see is roshi's hair looking like fired calamari lol

Jason Marbach

So they established in season 1 (continuing into this season) that Dr. Gorst had this crazy effective interrogation tactic. But if we go back and look at the original trilogy (which happens right after this show ends, chronologically) we see that they use the big black probe droids to do torture, and it’s not very effective at getting info, whereas Dr. Gorst had a near 100% success rate. So we knew there had to be a reason they didn’t have that more effective torture later - ergo, Gorst had to go. But the show is so smart and so well written, we never see that particular train coming right up until the moment the lights come on and Bix is standing there. This show does SO MUCH like that to establish - by showing, rather than telling - why the empire is in the shape it’s in by the time of the original trilogy. I’m gonna talk more about it in a comment on ep 12, but keep an eye out for this kind of thing as you watch. It’s already been shown in small ways, and it’s becoming more pronounced as the show continues

Josh Hargrave

That guy who came in on the mission on Ghorman isn't a plant. He's been anti-imperial and wanted to help the rebels and then him the other dude got into a scuffle and the dude shot Cinta on accident. He just wasn't following instructions about having no blasters. Luthen had nothing to do with it. The show is really just showing how the rebellion isn't formed into the Rebel Alliance yet so it's not a perfect structure rn.

Narluga

im pretty sure when your hit with a blaster bolt it fries you from the inside out. at least the surrounding area from the wound. so must shots would kill you even if it doesn't look like it. i could be wrong but i think i rememebr reading it from a comic or something lol

Hatty Time

Guys def overthinking at the end. The big guy is just a curious citizen, but the kid shouldn't have brought a gun and since he did an unfortunate accident happened.

Samuela Shannon

You gotta remember they watch like 10 things a week, it's just a theory. They get it together anyways. Chill.

AnnaSama

Yeah, ya'll are a bit off about Luthen's character. He cares and he's trying to keep all of his people safe. He just pushes everyone because he can sense that they're running out of time... and he's correct. And he's right about Ghorman, too. Once the Empire starts making a periah out of a planet, it's over. Luthen's been around long enough to know that a military building in the middle of the Capital means Ghorman has already lost. They can die fighting, or die hiding and hoping. Cassian just can't accept the idea of Ghorman being doomed to the same terrible fate as his home planet.

AnnaSama

I didn'r mean any hate. I like the random BS. It's funny because things will come out of left field like that. The realness is why I like the channel.

Jason Marbach

Been watching the channel for years, and every single time Lupa has ever jumped off the couch has been pure reaction gold

Rocinate

Sheera… dude. They showed how incompetent and inexperienced the Ghorman group was the entire episode. Why would you come up with the insane idea that that man walking down the street was a “plant” or the entire thing was a setup for her to get shot?? Crazy stuff

Ben Yokes

These dudes been watching andor since AD when is this show over

Drake Rage

43:14 I was literally thinking about how blasters still kill you with 1 shot but in fuckn Ahsoka the girl got stabbed with a lightsaber, in her guts and prolly went through her spine, and she was fine by the next morning, lmao. Edit: Ending discussion was definitely a mess, lol, but Roshi is right. Also just to say, Luthen wants to help the Ghormans, they are wealthy and have a high status in the galaxy, he was just saying that in the worst case scenario if it burns, it would still be beneficial for the Rebellion. He is being frank, but like he said "think like a leader," when Andor said he was "thinking like a soldier."

walter gibson

You honestly cant trust luthen, that visit was just as much an assessment of bix as it was a mission offer, he decided she was well enough that she just needed rest and revenge. But if luthen thought she was about to crack under the pressure yes i do believe he would have killed her rather than allow her to be a liability. That was why cassian was so angry when he found out luthen visited behind his back because he knows just how troubled bix is and was afraid luthen would see her as a vulnerability. Hell he almost had cassian killed for less.

walter gibson

Shes gorgeous frfr i get why cassian was flirting with her

Jamie Edwards

Luthen sale antiques and in doing so he can place bugs in the pieces....so he sold that dude a piece with a bug.....of they find the bug they trace it back to him

Carlos

Finally watched the reaction lol. If the stress got Lupa's guts hurting this episode, episode 8 is gonna have this man laying down. Peak after peak after peak.

Jason Marbach

Sorry to be “this guy,” but unfortunately I saw this comment so I’m compelled to respond. This is one of those issues I’m always gonna respond to when I see it. So, blasters in Star Wars are at least as dangerous as lightsabers are. Lightsabers are focused light but they’re mostly precision weapons. A blaster is just plasma that hits your body and bounces around inside it, frying you from the inside out. If sabers were more dangerous, the empire (who, in the ~19 years or so they were in control literally mined every Kyber crystal they could find in the galaxy) would’ve given their troopers those instead of blasters. …also, Sabine was down a couple days in Ahsoka, and only survived as well as she did because she didn’t get stabbed in a vital area and she had the best possible medical care *immediately* afterward. Okay, that’s enough outta me, carry on

Jamaal Ellison

Yeah the Sheeragan was turned up too high.

Adrian Locke

Nigga I saw Krennic & shit immediately got uncomfortable

Jamaal Ellison

They were really trying to franchise Dr Gorst's torture methods. I just know the trials they put on for former imperial high command after the battle of Jaku were insane. With the type of shit they were getting up to. There had to have been a few shadow courts and secret executions.

Drake Rage

Eh, the reason why troopers don't use lightsabers is because they are not force users, think about how bad they are at using blasters already ("stormtrooper aim"), they would all be dead from self-inflicted wounds if they were fighting with lightsabers, lmao. I will say that even comparing lightsabers and blasters, let alone saying "blasters are as dangerous as lightsabers," means the damage has been done. Lightsabers are lame now (which was my point) lmao.

Adrian Locke

We need more ‘ground level’ Star Wars bruh these niggas cooking w grease

Jamaal Ellison

Yo you could hear Lupa's guts bubbling during the entire third act. 😂

Jamie Edwards

Noooooo nah....Roshi you right Them two lost in the kool-aid....lol

Seth Aasland

“Calibrate your enthusiasm.” My favorite quote from this season

Sam

I love the theories but yall got too deep here. The Ghorst mission was unrelated to the heist

Jamaal Ellison

Guts sounding like the beginning of the R.V.D theme.

Jamaal Ellison

Why everyone who gets a walking scene look like they're aura farming.

Seth Aasland

One stray blaster bolt had more accuracy than the vast majority of stormtroopers

Dappy

They absolutely need to watch those 3 eps back to back in the same week, there's no other way.

ERRORCODE616

BRUH. I'm so glad Bix got her getback. That was some damn well needed catharsis after the stress and suffering of the rest of the episode. Man, Vel kinder than me. The rest of the rebellion would've been meaningless to me if some stupid child with an inferiority complex got my woman killed. Drop his ass on Narkina 5.

Delinda Arts

the big nigga wasn't an op. he was at the council meeting on some rah rah shit. Simply put: He just wanna be outside. With, Dreena, she "disappeared" bc she was helping an old lady out of the street.

Delinda Arts

to this day, Luthen asking Mon why she wanna talk to her cousin kills me lmao. Like bro bc i love her and care about her??? lmao

Itanna

Sheera is confusing you guys, there was no plant lol

Jason Marbach

Lightsabers were always about aura farming, my guy. They were only ever more effective as weapons because of who was wielding them, was my point. They’re not lame now, they’re as dope as they ever were. The galaxy just doesn’t live in an era of High Jedi anymore, really

Jason Marbach

Now, we have fewer *Jedi* (force users, whatever) now, so the opportunities to see dope lightsaber stuff is fewer and farther between. But the weapons didn’t get less dope. That was my main point.

Kryptik _

Roshi gang I’m lovin the theory and speculation, but sadly her death was just a terrible accident. Basically meant to show that you can die at anytime and as well as show the cost of rebellion.

Tae

Just means she’s enjoying the show

Drake Rage

copy-pasted: Qui-Gon: lightsaber in abdomen, died Darth Maul: lightsaber sliced in half, survived Reva (child): lightsaber in abdomen, survived Grand Inquisitor: lightsaber in abdomen, survived Reva (adult): lightsaber in abdomen, survived Finn: lightsaber slashed across back, survived Kylo Ren: lightsaber in abdomen, survived (with assist from Rey) Sabine: lightsaber in abdomen, survived Lightsabers shoulda remained deadly though, it just sucks that the simplest/barest, boring blaster can do the job in 1 hit, while the weapon for "aura farming" has turned into a joke from a growing list of survivors in recent SW stuff.

Seany Park

PLEASE WATCH 3 Episodes (1 arc) a week for the rest of the season. It’s too peak to be blue balling it.

Bob

We honestly need 3 a week for the last two arcs, it’s too good

Adam Belling

They did like a lot of historical research for this show (like on revolutions). My guess is that the guy who interrupts the heist there to show that revolutions are messy and not everyone is on the same page all the time.

Krype

And good riddance

Blue

So luthen sent Bix and andor to kill dr ghorst, he did this because andor said if you want me to keep fighting then fix this, so he sent the mission to help bix get her revenge to be in a better mindset. Also luthen is not gonna kill his only soilders, that man was not a plant, it was a stupid accident.

jordansamuel

Yeahh vel was talking, shut his ho ass up! RIP cinta, another real one. Bix getting her lick back was so fire bro, fuck!

Zazikel

Weapon robbery and blowing up Gort was on two different planets, this has nothing to do with any distraction whatsoever, two completely different things, you're waaaaaay overthinking it.

rayman

Sheera be overcooking sometimes lmao

Noah Angkotta

Hope you guys watch 3 eps next week best arc of the series coming up!

SigmaMaleDigBick

Bix is broken, Andor puts her as a priority, Luthen doesn't like that, but is willing to go with it for now. Lonni learns about Gorst from Partagaz, reports it to Luthen. Luthen takes this perfect opportunity to kill two birds with one stone. He blinks the light, gives Gorsts location to Andor and Bix, so that they can fuck with the Empires plans, and help Bix heal from the torture/Gorst trauma.

Tancho24

Aw hell nah not waiting till next week, gonna finish the whole show today

Clinton the Bingethinker

35:09 “Anything I had to” that line delivery, that look and energy—the actress playing Kleya is so good

walter gibson

Mon “ got that shit on” mothma

walter gibson

Yall catch the new Bail Organa reveal right before the party?

Clinton the Bingethinker

The big guy wasn’t a plant. He said he would carry Cinta’s body because he wanted to start to atone for playing a part in her death.

Gmoney

Yeah as if her woman hasn’t done worse to ppl than accidentally shoot someone

WTT_321

So while the Ghorman Heist went wrong, we got a nice ending to healing a broken wound of sorts. Also, this season is to show that the Ghormans are too naive to realize that they’re being played/manipulated by the Empire, and trust me, it ain’t gonna end well…! Just seeing the heist here shows that even after Vel & Cinta’s instructions were to clearly NOT have weapons other than themselves, welp, an accident that could’ve been avoided happened… Also the big, stubborn guy that showed up at the wrong, yeah don’t worry, the Empire wouldn’t have included him in the equation because otherwise Cyril wouldn’t be like “don’t know what’s happening out there” since he would’ve been in the know of that part. The one thing I was disappointed by (and one that might potentially might’ve ended up being repetitive IF they went down that route), and this is just a theory dump that I was thinking: Cinta could’ve been the “long-lost” sister of Cassian? Again, just a theory, but that would’ve been a cool idea to explore, but after she got shot, that part of me was like “welp, never mind” 🙃

WTT_321

Goes to show that these naive fools weren’t gonna last for what’s to come…!

T-Theme King

Stop Andor brother, you should have watch Sandman instead or Peacemaker ss2

Mr. Glasses

Sheera's radar is broken lol

Youssef Loubnan

the death flag was strong with that one, knew the minute i saw that diner scene when ifirst watched the ep

Rob Pait

My take is that he is a true believer. He was complaiing they were not doing more before. Once he saw that someone was shot, and that they were taking arms, he was just in.

Caleb Okoro

Talking like you own the channel

Basedra

Syril literally said “I can’t see” he’s not hiding information he just doesn’t know who was there.

Gwyn

Everyone talking about Sandman season 2 like it wasn't boring and super convoluted and messed up since it got prematurely canceled because of all the fucked up stuff the author did. If Sandman season 2 gets a reaction before Mr. Robot or SILO, put me on the same watch as the tomato.

vickylikesthis

please no. they're so close to finishing and the last 2x3 episodes arc are so so good.

vickylikesthis

i thought Maarva said that andor's sister died in kenari

vickylikesthis

on purpose and for the cause. not a waste like this kid did to cinta.

vickylikesthis

awww... they didn't have a reaction to "calibrate your enthusiasm"

AvatarJordy

The best Andor is yet to come

Majestic

Hell no Andor is way better then both of those shows

vickylikesthis

good job sheera for connecting the lonny to luthen about the dr. gorst situation. However, the connection to robbery just happened to be the same night. Because Cinta and Vel alive together is more useful to luthen than a dead Cinta and a resentful Vel.

Rocinate

Bro, I can’t stop replaying that shit 😂 that “wait…wait..” before they reveal who got hit kills me

Kryptik _

More so implied than actually stated

WTT_321

Again, like I said a theory.

Godrick

NAAAH that end sequence was FIRE! If its not like that, I dont want it. "We gonna get your get-back baby." -Cassianova Andor

HIM

1. Bix is taking Death Sticks, which are a drug. You'll remember the famous Jedi Mind Trick Scene where a guy trys to sell Obi Wan some. "Do you wanna buy some Death Sticks?" *Hand wave* "You don't want to sell me Death Sticks" "I don't wanna sell you any Death Sticks" 😆 2. The guy who sold Davo the fake was dead already. He said so before calling for the inspection. 3. THE KID THAT CASSIAN SHOT BECAUSE HE SAW BIX'S FACE... is the dude in the chair with Dr.Gorst in Bix's dream. The doctor is even talking to her about how they killed him and that Cassian said it was necessary because he saw them.

walter gibson

Something ive been thinking about, why was luthen wandering around the safehouse when he came to visit bix? Maybe he was just being paranoid or maybe he was making sure there was no witnesses or listening devices if he decided he needed to make bix a martyr for the cause.

Phil Astar

Sheera tries too hard to be big brained and Lupa ass agrees with her without questioning it lol

Jason Marbach

I hear you, but the weapons are just as dangerous as they ever were. The thing that keeps such wounds as the ones you listed from being as fatal is that lightsabers cauterize the wounds they create. The very first wound we ever saw a lightsaber create - when Obi-Wan cut off that doctor’s arm in the cantina on Tatooine in A New Hope - wasn’t fatal, either. Unless you get hit in a truly vital area, like getting your head cut off (Jango Fett) or getting stabbed through the heart (Kitt Fisto, by the emperor) or stabbed through the spine (Qui-Gon) you’ll probably survive the wound. That’s honestly how the weapon has always worked.

Ker'Mhod

For your first point, it has nothing to do with Death sticks; they are red or yellow, crazy flashy and supposed to be for those who seek strong emotions and thrills. If it ever was a thing already canon and nothing new, it would probably be Vutalamine (or vue) wich is an anti-anxiety/seizure/etc drug easily accessible and if taken in too big doses, could give paranoia, suicidal thoughts, memory issues etc.

AnnaSama

Always hilarious! He was gone a long time in this one :'D

AnnaSama

That's a fair assessment, but I still think it would have to be an EXTREME circumstance before he would murder a valuable recruit who is practically married to one of his best recruits. Valuable people are just too hard to find. Luthen could have killed Lonnie, who has said he wants out and has every opportunity to burn him. Staging an accident for Lonnie makes sense, but it's out of the question because we need this information. No spoilers, but by the end of the show, I think it's clear that Luthen has always understood how committed Bix is to the cause.

AnnaSama

Soo true. they cute tho. This shit is so charming, it's a big part of why I'm here. These goofballs are <3

dragonH

its ok guys, the sheeragan would be busted if it had 100% accuracy LMAO

Drake Rage

Yeah, its mainly cause of the writing. They should stick to cutting off limbs if the writers want someone to survive a lightsaber attack, its just been ridiculous the number of times a skilled force user has dealt what was meant to be a "death blow," (the list above) for them to still survive like it was a minor inconvenience, lol.

Alex

lmao the fuck she do?

Danielle

Be an assertive woman

kale k

I’m sorry you have a persecution complex. But no, that’s not why. She ripped into the younger guy and fully blamed him for her death and didn’t say a single thing to the guy that caused the incident in the first place. That’s not being “assertive”. That’s being a dumb cunt

artisticSarcasm

No one would've been shot if he hadn't brought the gun like she told him in the planning session, right after stressing how important the chain of command was. It was his fault because he couldn't feel powerful/important without a gun he didn't know how to use, and his inexperienced panic had him fire off a stray shot that killed a seasoned almost invaluable asset to the Rebellion, as well as her partner who was also of the fuckin ride or die variety; are you forreal? It was entirely his fault. He would've only gotten his ass beat by the old man but no one would've likely died. The gun only antagonized the old man further.

kale k

It’s always “impressive” how people like you are able to read something and respond to it without actually comprehending what’s being said. Not surprising, considering the political climate. I never once defended what he did. Sure, he fucked up. My qualm is that he’s the only one part of that situation that got lambasted for it. Is it really that difficult to understand? Again, I guess it’s not that much of a surprise. People lacking in intelligence are everywhere, especially online

HIM

Naww buddy, it was confirmed to be death Sticks, at least from what I looked up.

Ark the Birb

Damn, bro needs a Snickers. LMAO

artisticSarcasm

I'm not sure what high horse you're riding but please relieve the poor creature at your earliest convenience; it seems like your head might weigh a lot and it's not good to overburden even metaphorical animals. It's the branching blunder that caused the resulting near-worst case scenario for a specialized rebellion cell already operating under duress. The old man confrontation is far more insignificant compared to what happened as a result of that kid having a blaster; the bigger problem gets dealt with. If you don't get that I can't help you.

kale k

And you did it again. Wow. Reading without comprehension. It’s clear you’re too stupid to carry on a conversation so bye

Krype

Cinta, a side character we didn’t see much this season, being the only one who gets a proper burial besides maybe Andor's mom, is honestly hella dumb. She wasn’t even that important. More important characters didn't get that honor which is realistic.

Krype

Technically if she never made it a condition to luthen for Cinta to be there she wouldn't have died lol

rrrebo

Regarding art forgeries, in real life, x-rays and CT scans and the like are used to verify the validity of art pieces. It's not a question of purely visible inspection; any quick scan would have instantly shown the microphone and the jig would be up. Since Luthen was the source of the piece, he'd instantly be the prime suspect for placing the bug.

kale k

Also, I just read your smugly superior drivel again. And it’s just as stupid as it was the first time. But one more thing stuck out to me. You said “specialized”. What exactly about the Ghormans is specialized? They’re Frenchmen. Literal clothes makers. They’re all civilians. And if you recall, they’re being used by Luthen specifically for the outcome that came to pass. You act like they’re a hardened force of guerillas that are all in and should know better than to not follow the instructions of outsiders. Especially when that outsider is there to make sure you poke the hornets nest until it explodes and leave you with the consequences. All in the name of the “rebellion”. No. All that happened with Cintas death is that she finally lost someone close to her and she couldn’t handle it. So she took it out on one of the people she’s already setting up for death.

rrrebo

That mission, sanctioned by Luthen or not, was what Bix needed for closure and to get back in the game. Holy shitballs, the hypothesis of using the heist as a cover for the Gorst assassination makes SO much sense. I just thought Cassian did it just on his own for Bix, but I think Sheera's absolutely right. Fuck.

Danielle

It’s the way YOU got the persecution complex you fucking moron. That guy was at fault because he brought a gun when she said not to. He is literally responsible for her death. You’re an idiot

That guy joe

I mean it would be kinda crazy for Vel to pop off on the Big guy after he offered to carry Cintas body in atonement for what the other guy with gun did… Dumbass should’ve never brought the gun/ even joined the mission in the first place.

kale k

And for you, Joe Dumbass, I refer you to any of responses I’ve already made.

That guy joe

I already read your unhinged replies lil guy, your main thing was that Vel didn’t equally lash out on the the Big guy like she did to trigger finger… I was just saying that it literally doesn’t make sense for her to do so… The older fellow already paid his condolences and offered to help meanwhile trigger finger cried in the corner like a bitch and didn’t even say sorry… But clearly you’re having a brick wall moment and just insult anyone who replies to you regardless of what they say, and you don’t actually intend to have a convo, anyways stay mad i guess ✌🏾

Jaelyn Mcgee

I thought that looked different than Jimmy Smitts

Foxyguava

Lupa out hear confused by ricochets. geometry and calculus, when it's as simple as 2 dudes fighting with gun, gun shoots in random direction when accidentally triggered mid fight.

Usagi

I think luthen knew the Ghormans were unorganized and there was high probability that things would go south. Did he set up Cinta to get killed? No. But was he maybe secretly hoping it'd happen this time? I think so.

Oliver

The Sheera theory does not really make sense. Dr. Gorst was receiving his own facility with staff and would massively increase "Effective torture". When i saw Cassian i knew it was sanctioned, It was the biggest threat to the rebels in the long term. when anyone they talk to could be tortured into revealing the truth Ghorman was just another front. Luthen is trying to make EVERY PLANET REBEL so the empire will be stretched

Joseph C Gdaniec

yes, it is just two different fronts happening. This is the show once again showing that the rebellion is constantly happening on multiple planets all at once and Luthen is the main source of information and coordination right now. We saw Luthen's ISB spy get the information about Dr. Gorst and then walk off screen, implying that he got that info to Luthen who then gave that info to Bix and Cassian to get them the closure they needed to get back into the game.
