During those times she was probably more confident because she had their items whenever she confronted a vampire in the past, so now she has to be more cautious when dealing with them.

ngl this is a pretty tragic story for a rom-com...when Nazuna said she didnt want to believe that her senpai spent a decade in hate that hit deep. detective's situation gives the same vibe as Obito's in the war arc, Kyo being Naruto and Nazuna as Kakashi while everyone else is out there for Detective's/Obito's head.

I think she want to died on Halloween day because this is the day of all the beginnings and if all the vampires hate her, they won't have the choice to end her. Plus after all of that, she went in all the places with Nazuna.

The Detective is playing a dangerous game. The only reason she can act out like this is because the vampires haven't been taking her seriously up til now. If the whole group locks in and takes it serious, she's done. I don't think the show will kill her off though, so she'll probably have some bullshit up her sleeve.

Just to put into perspective why she’s capable of throwing hands with the vampires, imagine studying them for years and learning how they fight and act. At that point it’s like a bodybuilder versus a boxer. She’s not athletic, she just outsmarts them.

Feel like this is where the anime kinda fall flat a bit. I’ve been reading the manga side by side as the episodes come out because I want to start it one the season ends And in the manga she does seem all that strong. Vampire with their superior strength are kinda predictable Always going for pretty linear attacks with big very telegraphed swings….making them easy to dodge. I feel her dodging these obvious attacks are why anime watches seem to think she’s fast

The detective seemed like she had a death-wish. It was sad to see, she just wanted to rile up the vampires to make them want to go and kill her. I understand Nazuna's perspective completely, that she kinda knew but still didn't want to believe that the detective going around hunting vampires was her friend, because she wished for her to be living a happy life somewhere... but the detective had not been able to overcome the tragedy of her parents' deaths. I guess the term is "spiraling," the detective has been spiraling for 10 years now and she has been hunting vampires even good ones for no good reason. I would like to believe that this is all part of some grand plan to target the vampire that actually ruined her life and killed her parents, but I don't think that's the case right now.
