You guys also seem to forget, whenever things are being destroyed, they're not actually. Because they said back in S1 that they are taken into a pocket dimension that is a mirror of the area they are in. It doesn't affect the real world, that's why places appear empty at times. It's just their way of getting around that and also both ghost and aliens do it, which is why the color scheme changes.

People can actually see the kaiju. It’s not a yokai or spirit. The reason nobody is around though, is because the kaiju dragged them into that void space that aliens and cryptids have. The only reason Kinta went with them is because the kaiju was picking him up when it activated that power.

@Magnis lol I can see how many shows they are watching on this channel. Even if they are watching extra in their spare time, I guarantee that I'm watching more than them. I also read books and manga - and am working a whole ass white collar job on top of that - and yet can manage to remember basic plot points for the works I really like. I'll admit that the pressure of reacting probably makes it harder to remember things, and Lupa is definitely a negative modifier. Still, it's crazy to me that they didn't remember such major scenes reproduced in detail.

Okarun's an easier target who didn't attempt to fight back and let himself be a punching bag. You can tell from his introduction Kinta is very flamboyant as an Otaku but keyword in private, as soon as he was in public he toned it down immediately. For anyone wondering why the apartments are all empty, they actually aren't. They are in a "empty space" like the one they were in school with the lochness monster, only people with powers can enter it (and Kinta for some reason) and all the destruction is reversed once the empty space is closed
