I have a hunch based on comics - so don't read as it may be a spoiler: My hunch is that this dimension is a play off of or is actually Earth X, which is an alternate reality where Nazi Germany won WW2. So forget about anyone that isn't white being in Western nations like the USA. The Kardashians wouldn't exist because Robert Kardashian's great-grandparents emigrated from the Ottoman Empire in the early 20th century. They wouldn't be considered white and would not have been allowed to enter the country. The OJ trial theory is an interesting one, but that would mean OJ would have existed in this universe which wouldn't make sense since he's black.

I think that Hartcourt doesn't want to take it further with Peacemaker because of him killing her only friend that she also was fucking. So, she talks to him like shit and makes fun of him for wanting to be a hero. Also, I did notice the Kardashian thing, but I just chalked it up to him not knowing. And when Peacemaker drives through the town I did notice that it was a lot of white people, but I just assumed that it was because it was more of a small-town vibe and a lot of white people lived there.
