That's how I've been feeling all season. I mean, it's still funny and enjoyable, but I feel like season 1 had a mystery that was constantly unraveling. This season has just been Peacemaker going back and forth on what is obviously a bad decision, and we are halfway through the season already.

I saw a theory that the device Chris used to move the doorway is a motherbox and the reason it opened so explosively is because it was a whole ass boom tube. Personally, if I had to stall as Economos, I would have said that: “a little caution would be wise, unless you want a repeat of what happened in Metropolis with Luthor.” Also, regarding what Rick Sr. said to Emilia about defying Waller’s orders: 1.) I wouldn’t use what happened in Creature Commandos as a good example, considering that Flag Sr. defied orders because he smashed the Princess and it turned out that Circe’s vision was indeed correct and her living would have resulted in what we and Waller saw of the bad future. 2.) Putting aside the character development Peacemaker has gone through and focusing solely on the events of Project Starfish. It’s easy for Ricky Jr. and Emilia to defy Waller as opposed to Chris since they didn’t have a bomb implanted in the back of their necks, unlike him. Like you try and go against the woman who can and will blow your head off with just a simple push of a button.
