Yeah, this counts as a spoiler because you build up anticipation and lessen the element of surprise. Not every character is supposed to have a backstory. Until now, we didn't get backstories from characters other than the MC, so the show could have gone without expanding their backstories.

Although, there are stories where succubi manipulate people to murder others in order to guarantee they’ll wind up in Hell when they die, if you absolutely need a reason. Don’t underestimate any kind of demon. Just because they’re lust spirits doesn’t mean they’re not dangerous. They’re still demons at the end of the day, and they can still literally rip a party of adventurers limb from limb if they want to. Hell, even imps can be horribly dangerous if the DM does things right.
