The first punch was definitely warranted. Enjin and Rudo's talk was sweet and I think it's going to contribute to Rudo's maturity in a way. My fear is, they kinda have it framed like Enjin is Rudo's grounding pillar and if something bad happens to Enjin, Rudo is probably going to snap and whatever is cooking inside him is going to be unleashed.

I love Rudo's character so much he is by far my favorite character so far he reminds me a lot of myself. And I what go through in life and what he did to Amo was very justified in that moment but I'm also glad that he immediately regretted his decision. And I really liked the talk he had with Einjin too this is definitely my favorite episode by far.

I’m gonna be straight with everyone. This isn’t the first time we’ve seen powers almost exactly like Amo’s. All y’all remember Tsukishima? Cousin Shu? The one and only guy Ichigo went into a fight with intending to chop his top off? I don’t ever remember anyone saying that Ichigo shouldn’t have been wanting to kill Tsukishima. And while I agree that killing Amo is going too far, both because they need the info she has, and because she obviously doesn’t know right from wrong, she needed to learn that her actions have consequences. And the only way to do that is to have an extreme response to her actions. Because for some reason, she doesn’t take measured responses seriously, and views them as weakness. So the fact of the matter is, yes! The full beat down was absolutely necessary. The only mistake Rudo made was losing control, because if Enjin hadn’t pulled him off of her, he would’ve killed her.

I know this is pretty much a lawless land and there's obviously no penalty for killing out there, but she forced them to use an extremely valuable resource. Outside of the fact that Rudo's action counteracts their objective, his emotions are valid. Also no apology was needed on their end, unless it was to make sure they got the information they wanted. Amo's power reminds me of the Void from Thuderbolts. This guy could've killed the entirety of New York and who knows how many more, and yet the entire Thunderbolts group forgave him and even tried to help him, even recruited him, hell even the asshole Captain America wannabe who neglected his own child and had a small feud with him joined in. This guy mentally traumatized everyone, even children, yet people reacting to the movie cried for him when he was being saved by everyone. This isn't a gender thing (which is an excuse I feel is only said by the same people who hate any and all fanservice especially the girl from Fire Force, so they hate on this character especially harder because of that) I'm all for equal rights equal fights, but this didn't feel warranted. Hell, I went into the episode fully knowing he was going to assault her, and yet I was still caught off guard because it didn't seem like a point where she deserved it yet, I was waiting for the turning point and then, bam, punched. Look, I know this is mostly being hated on because Amo has no redeeming backstory yet, and I don't know if she ever will since I'm an anime-only, but if I'm to believe Void can be given a sad backstory and be considered a victim despite the atrocities he's done, then I want to keep an open mind for Amo. Maybe her background isn't all that sad or empathy inducing, but I always want to see things in the best-case scenario when they haven't happened yet. So no, I will not say she deserved the beating until all the cards are laid out for me. Also, I have no idea if she can even use her powers non-evily, she just seems set up to be vile due to her power's concept, like some MHA villains. But, I don't know how her powers work, I don't know if it's emotionally charged or if she can actively control it (though any mentally ill person is barely in control of their own actions to begin with), so maybe I'm making the wrong comparison when I mention Void, but there's definitely gotta be some working comparison out there somewhere. Hell, now that I think about it, I'm not sure how Void's powers works either. I was always under the assumption that the Void was a physical manifestation of all his negative emotions that only came out when he was especially stressed, but maybe it was just an entity taking over him to begin with.

I mean, objectively, both did similar things: - fight the group - would have killed (or made some of theirs kill) members of the group & only avoided that due to outside factors (healer giver with the Supporter Jabber killed, the protection spells with the ones that had to be smashed through the floor with Amo's case) - both took obvious joy in their actions (Jabber from his fighting thrills & masochism, Amo grinning & gloating about how they'd do anything to protect her) - both mentally unwell maybe you would actually say that he also shouldn't be killed if he had a rough past leading up to this point, I don't know - I'm just trying to understand the standards you're holding them to. At the end of the day, it doesn't matter what Amo "deserved"-- having a position of trust means you have to be held to a higher standard. He's not just a random street kid, he represents the Cleaners now. Teaching someone a "lesson" is one thing...Going Berserker Mode and completely losing sight of the entire mission because you want to take revenge and bash a girl's face in is another. I remember in AliciaxLife's reaction they said the same thing when she made a comment about how attractive Amo was, then they said she was a minor, and she had a reaction practically saying, "That's supposed to be a child?" and basically how it felt the same way as them trying to convince people Jotaru from Jojo's isn't a grown man. In the end, it didn't seem like anyone had any solid evidence to state she was actually a minor? Or at least, no one in her chat did.
