It’s interesting because the masked guy had to have seen the gloves on Rudo’s hands during their altercation in the sphere, yet he didn’t take them. And when Rudo was being thrown off the sphere onto the ground, the masked guy was in the audience watching it happen. Why would he stay up there just to see him get thrown into the pit? And why not just take the gloves if that’s what you came for specifically?

Amo’s one of the best characters in this series (top 3 for me personally), I straight up hated her when she was first introduced for what she did, but yeah after finding out about her backstory it explains exactly why she is the way she is, it doesn’t change what she did and it’s unfortunate that it took Rudo beating her for her to actually realize how badly she was hurting people, but the fact that the 2 of them decide to forgive each for what they did and strive to be better is such a great moment… and then Jabber shows up 😔

actually, Amo looked like she was like 6 when she was bought and the room she was introduced to was empty back then. The sudden transition into her having grown up this much means she was suffering abuse for at least 5-10 years. Amo was the first and last, so i dont know if he abused any other girls

Maybe the angel saw Rudo had the gloves and let him keep them so he could imbue them with his power, like how the angel said amo could keep her boots until the time is right. I dont think Jabber and the raiders are affiliated with angel and his +1 bc why not just get the boots back yourself instead (unless they are but it wouldn’t make sense with the info shown so far). So far 3 factions (raiders, cleaners and angel+1 or maybe raiders/angel+1) and it’s going to be interesting to see how they intersect later on

I still believe that one wouldn’t have been enough to make her see the gravity of her actions. She’d been hit her whole life. Hell, her mother probably hit her. One punch just would’ve been more of the same. She probably wouldn’t have opened up like she did if she thought they were the same as the others. Rudo losing control like that made her realize that the two of them were the same type of person. It made her realize that she wasn’t alone, and that’s what caused her to open up to them.

Yes there are escalations that took place from more than one party but the issue is someone escalated things out of proportion and Amo did just that as a response to Enjin not treating her like a regular person. She could've just decide not to give them any info when Enjin did what he did, which would've been understandable, but she decided to take it to another level and have them fight each other with no regard for how they end up. Not every reaction you get out of someone is justified.

If you guys remember in the entire fight Amo only ever wanted to have a conversation with the squad, but their line of questioning made it sound like they only wanted to use her which INSTANTLY brought back her trauma. Gang the issue with what Rudo did isn't that she didn't deserve it, its that he let himself get so mad that he wasn't gonna stop. If Enjin didn't pull him off when he did Amo would've been a corpse this episode, they'd have 0 info, and Rudo would have hated himself for the rest of his life. A massive part of Rudo's character is how he struggles with the pool of rage always building up inside him and tries to prevent it from making him lash out at others. When he was a kid, he hurt other people. After being told not to hurt others, he hurts himself. Only after getting the gloves and learning patience from Regto is he able to start holding the anger back and understand others, but Regto's death sets that anger off to an extreme level. Even after he lands in the ground he manages to hold his anger back until it comes to a boiling point here, and for that moment its one of the lowest points in Rudo's life. Putting aside the implications of him allowing himself to beat someone to death had he not been stopped + him fucking himself and the other cleaners over by losing the info, losing himself to anger like that and taking a life would have been a MASSIVE fuck you to everything Regto taught him and his last wishes.

One thing that gets me is that they portray Amo as being a child or at least with a child-like mentality and yet the previous episode kept having these moments of her being in compromising positions and having her body be the punchline to 'fanservice'. It's an unsettling juxtaposition to then show in this episode that she's a victim of sexual abuse and human trafficking. I just don't really understand why that choice was made when it came to her character. I think they could have told her story without having the lingering shots of her underwear, with her legs spread while being tired up, being bent over or even that one shot where it's like the camera is literally right next to her crotch and looking up her body.

Not to be hella personal but honestly as a person whose been through SA at a young age, that stuff really messes you up as you grow. When I was younger I didn’t really process what was happening just that it was bad and I knew if people knew it would be really bad. I had a bad home life so that was my main focus of pain rather then what was happening. When I was 19 it started to happen again and I put a stop to it. I was an adult and knew it had to stop and my life was better. But after LOTS of things changed. I barely had any support, I cried everyday, I couldn’t feel emotions, & eveyone blamed me and shunned me. I became angry like AMO and Rudo, everything set me off I became bitter and got sick. I would get panic attacks and anxiety attacks because I couldn’t fill my heart because everyone stomped it constantly. I refused to let it go. It took 7 years for me to forgive myself and be kinder to me instead of others. Holding all my emotions made others happy but made me sick. Now I’ve made peace with it but I still have that raw emotion deep down. Like they were saying we just have to work out the parts we don’t like about ourselves and it’s okay to start whenever you’re ready as long as you recognize it. I just want to say yall were a big part in helping me smile and laugh through the pain I went at that time. So thanks for all the laughs and love you shown us, will forever support yall always 💛✨

I'm not sure if you're being willfully or unintentionally ignorant. Yes her attire will make it so you will undoubtedly see her panty's and tits however framing is deliberate especially when you have to draw it. Many of the scenes with her are framed specifically to sexualize her. There are several shots in ep 12 that could have just been framed at a different angle and completely avoided her panties. Sorry but there's no actual reason besides sexualization to have her be completely bent over and have the camera be directly behind her or have the camera directly under her to have a literal close up of her crotch and boobs within the same frame and the dozen other panty shots. They are called panty shots because the focus of the shot is the panty's it isn't simply a normal shot with a girl that just happens to be in her underwear. Notice how this ep opposed to ep 12 doesn't have a load of panty shots even though it's the same character wearing the same thing. People hate dealing with real world concepts in anime. Her being sexualized by the author depicts her sexualizing herself or not even realizing it. This happens with people in real life who go through this. People gotta think. You are supposed to be uncomfortable. The artist is showing you some real shyt. It was duality & FAFO. Everyone (all characters) felt justified in their actions. The funny thing is that multiple things can be correct at once. Enjin didn't know her backstory when he asked questions. He's reiterated multiple times that people on the ground don't trade info for free & was trying to figure things out & got fatally wounded over WORDS & trying to establish the rules of engagement. Rudo is a traumatized individual & did a traumatized individual thing by beating her ass for actually getting them fatally wounded on top of making him relive the whole reason he wants to murder the sphereites & change that shitty world. She got them fatally wounded because she is traumatized & decided to have Enjin killed over him not understanding she is traumatized & needs to be approached differently than everyone else on the ground. It could have all went better but it would be shyt for a story. They are flawed characters. You can't justify a trauma victim producing more victims even if it makes sense from their perspective. If said victim is inflicting more trauma on others, they will likely be visited by more trauma. Rudo in fact didn't kill her. His friends stopped him, his words weren't wrong either technically. She had likely fatally wounded others & some justice needed to be served somehow, regardless of her background. In real life, child murderers get locked up. In real life, children committing heinous crimes might lose their life over there actions. You don't justify their actions even if you understand why it happened. They can all be wrong & they can all feel like they were justified, even if only in the moment. Both Amo & Rudo acknowledged they did something wrong. Thats good enough. They learned from their bad actions.
