Also I think you guys are skipping the fact that there are going to be times where you have to slow down because you have kids. Jordan definitely sabotaged the relationship by bringing out his insecurities but I do agree with him that certain liberties you had before the kids are going to be limited. Yes it's possible to have experiences while you have kids but it's not going to be to the same degree as if you were by yourself and I think Megan deep down was thinking that she might have to consider slightly downgrading her lifestyle for them even if she was previously vocal about involving them in her life.

this thing with jordan is interesting. he and his son have a very specific life. (particularly because he has medical needs.) for them to be able to fully accommodate how she wanted to live (flying out every weekend, living as actively as she lives now) would require a big change to the schedule he keeps with his son. he said up front many times that for it to work, she would have to sacrifice parts of her life. it just turned out that he was asking her to sacrifice too much—he wasn’t willing to change ANYTHING about how his and his son’s life currently is. he needed someone who could slot into their lives and that’s not her. (he IS clearly insecure about her wealth but i PERSONALLY don’t think that’s the center of the issue. it’s just a factor of the difference in their lives. so him saying they’re not that different is minimizing how much of her life she’d have to give up to be with him.)

i agree. you don’t have to be rich to take your kids traveling, but it was clear she wanted to go on multiple spontaneous vacations on a month-to-month/year-to-year basis and that’s just not feasible for everyone. most families take their kids on vacation ONCE a year IF that. especially if your workplace isn’t flexible with PTO. add in a medical disability and it’s really not realistic. they both needed to compromise

this was a rough season. but definitely entertaining. my hang up with jordan is that he believes his child NEEDS to live the simple life of ice cream and legos. he leaned in so hard on wanting his son to have experiences and not just expensive toys. what does he think traveling would be? the biggest and probably most important experience. in this climate, it's so important for kids, or anyone really, to see how others live in different parts of the world. or even the states. my grandparents took my dad and uncle all over the world while they were growing up. we didn't have as much money when i was growing up so our traveling was more local, but even that gave me some of my favorite memories. i wish his insecurities weren't so prevalent. i feel bad for sparkle megan being lead to believe that wanting to live her sparkly life would make her a bad mother. there are plenty of amazing and wealthy parents out there who still teach their children values and show them love while still spending money and time on them. i feel like she would make a good mom, simply because she has the mind to reflect on how her actions are, whether or not her actions required reflection in this case. she seemed to have a level head and a lot of love to give. i hope the best for her. i definitely feel like edmond is here somewhere in roshi's followers. where you at?

I don't know if I agree with even frequency being an issue. School goes on breaks 4 times a year, and that's not counting long weekends. There was an issue of degrees between them I feel. Maybe he was being overly cautious and was trying to make her manage her expectations of family life, but finiancial concerns nonwithstanding, it's not like they would only have to travel once a year just because they have a child. And she also wanted to do things together around town that he wasn't into, and then he didn't even want to talk. Even if there is a reasonable element to what he was saying, I don't know if I would be able to not see it as just someone who doesn't want to make an effort, and who fundamentally thinks I'm not what they want.

I agree, that's why I said he absolutely sabotaged the relationship with his insecurities and lack of communication. He only had one somewhat valid concern which was the not being able to travel often aspect.

I get that it mioght have been kinder to break it off earlier but I actually do think KB really wanted to see it through. Even seeing how her mum is, they seem like fixers. They started off on the wrong foot, she was always going to be the bearer of burdens in the relationship while he got to play the happy go lucky guy with everyone else. Yeah, this is a real bad time for Edmund but I hope that will make him actually get healed instead of putting on a brave face. He doesn't see it that way but he is manipulative, it's just his survival mechanism and I hope he releases this particular type of maladaptive behaviour. He put 45% into the relatinship and thinks just because those 45 are demonstrative it means it was 100. It was not. I have nothing to say about botox barbie and the drinking man. Jordan fumbled because he believes in the myth that masculinity can be taken from someone and he kept comparing himself to his partner instead of being inspired. Sad but very predictable.

i think it’s fine to feel bad for edmond’s way of being brought up. i do as well — even teared up in some moments, but i’m also not going to set aside all of the red flags he’s displayed towards kalybriah during past episodes in favor of painting him out to be a saint and her somewhat of a villain due to that. i’m not gonna lie, i don’t like how some ppl in chat were making her out to be some sort of liar when it came to having real feelings for him. especially when this man needs wayyyy more help than she ever did. man was hooting and hollering over not being able to have sex with her when she said she wanted to wait til marriage, just because his friends had gotten to experience that intimacy with *their* fiancés (MAJOR red flag. no means no and if that’s not cool with you: leave). was always comparing. is immature, which is why she came off as “mothering” him in some instances (though she has had seemingly condescending sounding moments towards him as well). it definitely should’ve been done with. whatever condition or issues he may have does not excuse his behavior and the only things she’s truly done wrong, in my opinion, was call him out his name and not call it off earlier; but i can’t even say that for sure because i think she might’ve genuinely been battling it out in her head up until that point. i’m just not falling for this edmond propaganda. i don’t think he’s an entirely bad person by any means and kb has things she can work on as well, but he’s no angel and needs help. p.s. jordan is a weirdo and i hate that he made megan feel like that. then, had the nerve to act as if he played no part in their separating while she just spilled out her heart to him.

I think Jordan, like you said, was super insecure about the fact that Megan would essentially be the breadwinner or richer party out of the two, and didn't like how this made him feel as a "provider" because she didn't really need it I also think he came into the experiment very selfishly, looking for someone to slot into his life, not an actual partner, so he wasn't willing to compromise with her on anything. I'm so sure if he had met her halfway on something, they could have worked, but he really gave her the "my way or the highway" treatment and got surprised when she chose the highway

IMO saying no at the altar is a dick move. There’s plenty of opportunity to say no even right before the wedding - just don’t show up! But getting in the wedding attire and letting them go on with the ceremony and THEN saying no is ridiculous. However, I’m not mad at KB for saying no bc Edmond, while his backstory is traumatic and you feel bad for him: Was riddled with red flags. I think ppl were being too mean to K in this stream tbh

im sorry, but truck drivers and nurses are not on the same level....not looking down on truck drivers or anything, i have a friend who loves it, but nurses work shit hours and get told off constantly all while trying to save people. and get paid pennies for it. im pretty sure truck drivers make more than them in fact.

I’m talking strictly about $$$. Either way Both jobs are demanding, long hours at hospital, long hours on the road, physically demanding but neither makes nowhere near poverty level wages. Entry-level nurses can start at ~ $50,000, but experienced nurses can earn up to $80,000–$100,000 depending on location and specialty. Most truck drivers make above $50,000 but I have heard of the $80,000–$100,000 range.

Both earn well above retail or fast-food wages or a regular job. Nurse treatment can vary by department and hospital system. I’ve experienced this myself switching hospitals and departments. Obviously in society someone saying I’m a nurse holds more weight to your average person but anyways Every profession feels underpaid for the amount of work they do.

I think people are forgetting that Megan said she likes to travel for several weeks at a time and then come home and immediately fly somewhere else, and wanted her man to be able to do that with her. She likes the flexibility of just being able to pick up and go whenever she wants. When you work a regular job you need to take PTO to travel and sometimes request in advance. And you only have so much PTO to use, some jobs only give you two weeks a year. Kids in school also can't just up and leave to go on vacation for several weeks. Their lives were truly not compatible. It is not anybody's fault. But to put all of this on Jordan is unfair.

It was weird how Ali essentially defended Anton to her people about his drinking and lifestyle but then gave those same reasons as why she said no 😂 I'm ready for the reunion to be just as dry as previous ones. I also feel like production went back to edit Megan's last confessional about her insecurities about being a mom after they found out she had a kid.

Idk with Megan it’s like Jordan kept telling her over and over again his life is different from hers and then she sees his life is different from his and now says she didn’t realize how different their lives would be. If I told someone over and over again it’s not gonna be easy, our lives are different - and you keep telling me it’s fine and u can see they’re different and then realize near the end “I didn’t realize how different our lives would be” imma be really annoyed and heartbroken because he DID introduce his son to her . That’s something he can’t undo. (And now she’s pregnant)

Whoa, I read the Megan and Jordan situation the EXACT opposite way. The only thing that Jordan really needed to compromise on was that his fiancee was a yapper, so he needed to allot more energy into communicating in the evenings after work. Aside from that, Megan recognized that having a partner who's available financially and who doesn't have parenting responsibilities was more important to her than she thought. Every time Jordan mentioned that he didn't have as much money as she did, it was prompted. He wasn't just saying it out of insecurity, he was saying it as a reminder because Megan kept getting carried away. Like when they were looking at houses, and Megan was trying to sign them up for a 500k mortgage that they would go 50/50 on. Obviously Jordan would again have to remind her about his own income relative to hers (especially since he doesn't want to make her think he's with her for her money). Megan herself in the end said she couldn't compromise on the lifestyle changes she would have to go through to be with him, which is why she kept apologizing. Finally, Jordan regretted introducing Luca to her because kids shouldn't be ping-ponging with their parental figures so frivolously. Its bad for their development, lmao

It's hard for me to properly judge any of these people because it's not real life. All of this is built on a show with an insane goal. I think this season got me the most emotional compared to the other decisions because I get everybody's side. Nobody was completely in the wrong. There was so much we didn't get to see. I can't wait for the reunion

Lmao exactly, she’s the complete opposite. I think people give her way too much credit because they like her. She definitely has a mouth on her and has trouble with healthy communication. She was only putting it on for the show, but cracks came popping up in the end.

The Megan Jordan situation is really interesting to me. Because a few episodes ago, when they were having dinner together with her family, she was eating a burrata and toast, and he said he hadn't even heard of burrata before he thought it was fancy food. It's burrata is just cheese and he would eat French fries, he's just really self conscious Their status, social financial status and I felt like he was using his son as a scapegoat for why he didn't want to marry her. When the reality is, he just felt embarrassed about the fact he has to work a 9 to 5 job and she can sit at home and go to Tennis whenever she wants to and he probably resents her for that.

From the footage I saw, it seems like she was blessing him, and he blocked his blessings. He felt self-conscious about their financial status and talked himself out of a good opportunity. He brought up her money and the fact that she could just go to Paris at the drop of a hat. He talked his son out of an experience that he probably couldn't afford to do himself. I think the scene with Jordan and Meghan's family was very telling, where they were eating cheese and bread, and he was eating French fries and had never heard of burrata before. I think he kind of resents her for her wealth.

I re-examined that scene where he appeared quite reserved about engaging in conversations with her after work. It seems he might be bothered by the extensive social interaction required during his workday, a burden she doesn't share. Consequently, he returns home from a demanding day, and her comparatively less strenuous schedule seems to irk him, especially when she has the freedom to pursue leisure activities while he is committed to a demanding job. It conveyed the impression that he feels his job is draining due to constant interaction, and while she is open to conversing, he is disinclined because he believes she cannot comprehend his exhaustion given her different work experience.

It seemed like he was unwilling to compromise. I felt like a middle ground could be found there. She can afford to take his place. He probably didn't even have to work anymore if she had that type of money to spend. I think some of his pride and ego got to him, and he was resentful that he had to work all day and she didn't.

Was his drinking problem truly as severe as it seemed? He is employed as a truck operator. It appears he may possess a greater tolerance for alcohol than she does. In comparison to other individuals in the cast who become visibly intoxicated and cause embarrassment, he appeared to be quite high-functioning. There was insufficient footage presented to convince me that his drinking problem was significant enough to prevent their marriage. She expressed a disinterest in working an actual job; she wanted to have a joint bank account and her own account, but didn't want to work performing domestic duties or fulfilling the role of a wife. She presented a more significant concern than he did. It seemed she desired a father rather than a husband.

What's crazy to me is that his friend and his friend's girl with the big mouth that snitched to Alis and blew up the relationship at the nerve to show up to the wedding, like she didn't sabotage their whole thing. How, can she even walk around with balls as big as hers.
