OPM season 3 is trash and if yall want us to keep watching Im honestly not engaged with the material and will just clown it. Would rather do something more productive. I know some of you want TYE S3 however I need a show to replace OPM on YouTube as well and unfortunately TYE is copyright poison which is why pretty much no one is covering that at the moment. May have a slot for it in the future but would be looking like spring or summer of next year cause January is insane!

but the basics don’t look bad. roshi himself said the art itself is actually good and is nice to look at, it’s just lacking fluidity. every fight so far has consistently had better animation than the moments in between, why should the moments in between have god tier animation, when looking at the manga, they have so much shit on their plate to animate fight wise. viewers don’t come to see characters have conversations, they come for the insane fights and the comedic value.

But for me, the story is kind of wonky, the whole Christmas ecstatic They're trying to Play in the anime seems off Leading to a bunch of odd scenarios that always Gets me confused. Like how You get from here to there, and they do this repeatedly. It's a good and funny show to watch if you guys feel up for it but for me nah.

I wouldn't care about the animation too much so long as they deliver on fights and pacing, kinda like how s2 was, and they kinda are, but some cuts are really jarring because of how rushed the production is, and even worse, the pacing feels weird because of, well... a few things. The manga is slow in this part of the story, and when they adapt 3x the content that a normal episode would because of that and don't have breathing room in dialogue, it's a whack combination that feels both slow and fast at the same time. That in particular really sucks and ruins it more than anything else IMO. But I will give props to the animators and director for trying their hardest with a 6-month time frame the production committee (the true ones at fault here) gave them. And at least the music is still great, and the sound effects and art are better in many places than in S2. I will support it for those reasons. But hey, that's just my opinion. Do what you want. Your channel after all.

Roshi, or anyone really, please, just please look into this situation, spread the word, use your platform for good. This situation is really awful, and it sucks, but for anything to even have a chance to get better, people have to be aware of this.

It will all sadly snowball into a collapse of the industry (also AI plays a factor into this), which no one wants (but for some reason doesn't want to try to even prevent because even when it starts with something simple like being more positive and less toxic???), and which is probably why the production committee, and not just this one, in many cases, are seeking short-term profits so they can squeeze out everything they can before it dries up... so don't act like it's not worth time and energy to try and make sure people are at least aware of how these things are, especially when there are real human lives behind this industry who get hurt every day not only because of top-down decisions, but because of people's attitudes being directed toward the wrong place. And hmm, true, does any of this even matter? The majority of people who watch stuff here probably don't watch anything legally. They probably just watch it with Roshi and them first to pretend they have friends. Their comments are probably contained here and on pirate websites, 4chan, reddit... It probably has little to no effect besides circlejerking each other in a comment section that no one that matters will see. Except those people who go and find the people working on this to harass them and send them death threats. Seriously, fuck those guys. But also, the people working on this "don't give a fuck?" Be for real. Many went to the hospital from overwork and exhaustion, and they are trying their hardest with what this horrendous schedule, team, and 6 hours that they were given. Yes. I already explained, but let me go into more detail. I paid because there are things that are not on their YouTube and it's earlier access. I like listening to afterthoughts on series and theorycrafting and whatnot, because it spurs my creative brain to write stories. I'm not a teenager anymore. I can't sit and watch shows all day. But you can only create something as good as you've seen. And so I seek to ramify that somewhat through other people's opinions and insights. It was the consistently bad pacing and gunplay, as well as the characters and the plot line as well. It was a mess. I remember Roshi literally growling in frustration one episode 😆 I felt bad FOR them. I think they respected the ending, tho.

Unfortunately, this has never been predominantly a "Live-action" show channel. They do a lot of K-dramas, which has led to them doing a few other foreign hit shows as well. I'm pretty sure they started doing more LA thanks to the Marvel shows, and now they keep a LA or 2 in the rotation at all times... STILL not really the channel I would look to for LA reactions, unless it's a Kdrama. They'll do stuff, but I feel like the way they pace their watches, you are definitely correct... It's gonna take a LONG time to get something more niche like "Dark". If it ain't about black folks (ATL, TOP BOY, From, Lovecraft Country, even Mr and Mrs. Smith lol) or a foreign banger (Kdramas, BEEF) I wouldn't expect to see it on here. Respectfully.

Tsukimichi is great but unfortunately, like Overlord and some others. The anime cuts out a TON from the Manga. The story is still super easy to follow a long. But a lot of great character moments are removed.

I really wanna believe but there is no waayyyy they gonna Pop Off in later fights. They cooked themselves with the third Episode. That was the opportunity to say - see the fight sequences gonna look fire, but they didn’t. In some frames the characters didn’t even look like them anymore, it’s crazy.

Not a great comparison since they enjoyed the overall show and animation. They were just frustrated with some of the character's action at some points, which is something common for them with a lot of shows. OPM is just boring af AND poorly animated.
